Hi,
Please deactivate the tagDiv mobile theme plugin.
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activate and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activate.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Thank you!
Hi,
You can remove the Single Post Author editing with tagDiv Composer and with a right-click you can delete => https://i.imgur.com/GNzcGmJ.jpg , or selecting the element and with drag & drop place into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page => https://i.imgur.com/vkQVCjn.jpg this change will be applied to all posts that use that template and you can delete any element like this.
Thank you!

Hello Newspaper Theme Support folks,
I have a question about the Comments element that I hope you can help with.
We have the Comments element block in the Single Template.
The issue is : while we have set Posts “not allowed” on New Posts, there are certain Posts we want to allow them(very few). So, when we add those Posts, we check to box to “Allow Comments”) but still nothing shows in those Posts.
So, no Comment box shows by default on the Pages, which is ok since we have not allowed Comments on New Posts. But, on Pages where we want Comments allowed the box still does not show.
So, we tried adding a “test” comment in the Admin for the Post…..and the Comment box shows up on the Post but says “Comments Closed”.
Is there a way to turn Comments off by default but only “open” for certain Posts … ???
Hope that makes sense… and hope you can help,
Tim Roman
Hi! in the backend (newspaper->template settings->woocommerce template) area i can’t assign a template for the shop page. it’s just a switcher for sidebar layout. Where can i assign a cloud template for the shop page and the category product page?
Thanks
Thanks, but I’m still struggling with this.
If I select the Template “Page builder + latest articles + …” then whilst I don’t get the Page Title displaying, I am saddled with displaying the Latest Articles under my content.
So for instance: https://homes.scot/test4/ (which to be clear is setup currently to use the Default template)
I can see no way to edit the Page Title in TagDiv Composer.
Am I missing something?

Hi,
For pages, you can use the tagDiv Composer to edit them, but there are also a few templates that can be used – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-page-templates/ use one of those templates – https://i.imgur.com/lwFWG2r.png
Thank you!
Hi, everytime i try to load a footer template in global i get the following warning:
Warning: Undefined array key “height” in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/tdc_util.php on line 107 Warning: Undefined array key “width” in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/tdc_util.php on line 108
Hello,
If you want to use the standard template, please activate the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin. Please note this plugin is deprecated.
We recommend using cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer, which contains a lot of functions and features, Please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:

Hello,
You can use the default template and add in the page POSTS LOOP element with tagDiv Composer -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/posts-loop/
Thank you!
The homepages last articles options disappear, when I try to create a page but I want to change the template, the templates + articles options disappear, this happens with the wordpress block editor which I use on my website.
Hi, I’m moving my site to Newspaper theme, this site has its own custom post templates, the theme detects them, but they don’t appear in page setting so does the box with the template selection, in the admin bar appears the template name, but it can’t be open and edited in any way. How can I solve this problem?
Hello @hiepmtr !

We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use the mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to disable the Mobile Theme plugin.
Thank you!
Hello,
I recommend using cloud templates and flex blocks and big grid flex blocks.
Also, I recommend using the cache option on the blocks -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/use-flex-blocks-cache-option/
There are many optimization guides provided by our users here in the forum, some made by us; you could check some of them

If you use Wp Rocket, you can try to exclude the following files
/jquery-?[0-9.](.*)(.min|.slim|.slim.min)?.js
/jquery-migrate(.min)?.js
/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js
tdBlocksArray

Hi,
This is possible when you will use a cloud/PRO template. In order to have different elements(ads) inside for every category/post, you need to have a different template for each category/post.
If you want the same style of your categories/posts, then you can duplicate a template/layout for every category/post to have a different template, make the specific changes and assign it to that category/post.
Check this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/different-logo-in-categorypage/ ; Here
is explained step by step how you can duplicate a template.
Thank you!
Hi,
You can enable the option the Auto Loading on the Single Post Template edit with tagDiv Composer -> Show site wide settings => https://www.screencast.com/t/4RnV1CnxiuA -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/infinite-loading-single-posts/

Hello,
I am trying to edit the custom post template page I created on my website. I have been working on the website for 3 months without any problem and all of a sudden, a couple of days ago it started showing the following error code when trying to access the tagdiv composer edit page for the template. It opens the editor but it presents the home page and the error code as shown in the attached image.
The error code:
“Errors at columns: 3(models) : 1(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”
Hi
I wish to create a new page template that does not include a header or footer, just a blank page. When I try to do that it inherits the existing header and footer, which if i delete, delets for the entire site i.e. all pages. I note that the existing header and footer as set to global as we want all pages that use our default page template to have this header and footer. plse advise best way to create the required new template.
Thx
Ian
Hi,
You can’t add the top bar in the mobile menu, only if you create a new page and set it it in a modal popup.
If you have a header template, then you can add the top bar in the mobile like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/sMECJT6Pw
Thank you!
Hi team,
Q1: I have set a template background image. Unfortunately the width of the template is covering the page width. Have ‘stretching’ not activated.
Pls see image @ https://i.imgur.com/g24zxtu.jpg
Can you tell how I can decrease (1) and (2) in order to only display template width (3) so that background image is shown?
Q2: is there a way of setting a background image on the template itself, so for (3) content?
Thank you!
Hello,
You can import a blank template and after assigning it as a Homepage -> https://i.imgur.com/aWBggQK.png
You can copy-paste the code from one page to another page.
Thank you!
Hi,
I’m using a cloud template (Gossip) and I tried everything you said here > https://forum.tagdiv.com/set-block-inside-post-content/ but nothing happens inside my post content.
I’ve created a page and added a flex block, then I copied the code
[tdc_zone type=”tdc_content”][vc_row][vc_column][td_block_trending_now][/vc_column][/vc_row][/tdc_zone][tdc_zone type=”tdc_content”][vc_row][vc_column][td_block_trending_now][/vc_column][/vc_row][/tdc_zone]
And pasted inside the single post template, on Content block as an inLine Ad:
Not even adding in the Theme Panel… (I dont use any other kind of ads)
Am I doing something wrong?
