Hello,

The page title can be shown if you use a page template that shows the title: https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/ or inside the breadcrumb where you can remove the ‘home’ like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/JLat8Nm0ZmFF

Thank you!

Hello,

The pagebuilder + latest articles template cannot have a load more option. What you can do is use the default page template and instead of a ltest articles section, create a new block using your favorite one, and name it latest articles or what you wish adding pagination to it using load more. Simply replace the latest articles section from the page template with a standard paginated block.
As for the sidebar, on any other page template, you will have to create the sidebar on the page itself from the page builder. Either adding elements on a split row directly or simply split the rows and add a widgetized sidebar element. In order to make the sidebar sticky on pages you can use this method: https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/

Thank you!

Hi,

You have not mentioned if you are using the mobile theme plugin, in which case there are predefined templates for the homepage – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ If you are not using the mobile theme then the same content you have on desktop will be displayed on mobile, the theme is fully responsive. Maybe the plugin you are using is not compatible with the theme, not all plugins are, or is not properly configured. A caching plugin could also prevent the changes from being applied. Please check these system parameters too – https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Thanks

Hello,

I would like to add “load more” button instead of “page number” on the bottom of my home page. I know it is possible to add such button to every other block content, but since the Latest Articles section is always on the bottom of the “Pagebuilder + latest articles + pagination” template I don’t know how to manage it. I tried to change the template to some other but I had issues with smart sidebar – it didn’t work properly.

https://www.screencast.com/t/MQcXo6QR6Q

I would be really gratefull for some information if this is possible,

Thank You,
Best Regards
Kacper

Hello,

I’m having some difficulties with editing block headers colors – it looks like there is some kind of issue but I am not able to fix it myself. It’ll be easier to show you what I mean:

1) Here’s the block header template I chose:
http://www.screencast.com/t/ACmJ1m0r

2) Here are the general theme colors I chose:
https://www.screencast.com/t/aj8spDUYjbbc

3) Here you can see the desired effect – it is applied to all of the block headers on home page and other pages:
https://www.screencast.com/t/ryGRCJAtkGf2

4) Ane here is the issue – it’s occuring on the every post page:
https://www.screencast.com/t/6odcbFZ0e51c

It looks like the accent color is overiding block header settings. No matter what block header design I’ll choose it is always like that. You can see that the desired block header template is there but the blue background should’t. The only other way is when I choose transparent theme accent color – then it is looking ok on the post pages but every on hover state on the home page is transparent also – so it’s even worse.

I would be really grateful for helping me fix this issue.

Hello,

Are you referring to the tiny mce back-ed editor? That can be removed from wordpress. Here is an example:

Thank you!

Hi there! Let me first thank you for the great job with Newspaper 7, it’s awesome!

I have two minor issues regarding my block titles in the footer (my site is: http://www.psl.ucr.ac.cr):

1. I’ve put the Jetpack Facebook page plugin in the first of my three footer columns. Everything works OK, but in this only case, the block title for the widget changes color, from the standard yellow I’m using, to white. I need it to stay yellow. Have tried some custom coding, but haven’t been able to target it.

2. Also, my general block header template is set to “Header Template 8”, so it displays a light grey block line to the right of the title (see here: http://www.screencast.com/t/qEU1zXXwS). But in the titles of my three footer columns, this light grey block lines turns into an ugly blackish one. I need it to be the same light grey as everything else.

In this screen capture you can see both problems in the footer: http://www.screencast.com/t/jLS1Aldwqli. Any ideas on how to fix that?

Thanks a lot. Cheers!

Fidel

One of your collegue create for me a CSS code because the background of the facebook page’s word (of the widget of WP) was different from the Theme Accent Color.
Now I erase the css code and the background is a dark grey, as you can see here in the sidebar
https://www.cibarsidimarketing.it/gestire-unattivita-ristorativa-nel-2017/
Anymore, the anchor text is always black, even if I erased the cache of ny browser.
So, the problems are now two, and not just one =)
I understood that I should create an entire template from visual composer grid builder, isn’t it?
However, because I tried and is not so intuitive for me, I would know if it possible to solve the problem without make some changes.
Sorry but my english is awful and to use a english-language theme is not so simple for me (but the theme is great, so I wanted to trust you and buy this theme
Thanks for your unlimited support! =)

Hi,

Unfortunately I do not fully understand what you mean. Pages are created using elements from the Visual composer editor – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/ and have these templates available – https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/ You can find all the theme documentation here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/ If you still need help, please provide more details about what you are looking for, so I may be able to give you a solution.
The forum and is accessible to all the users that register, based on the purchase key.

Hi TagDiv team!
I am starting to use your fantastic template and here below you will find few questions:
1) Is it possible to set the sidebar only for the homepage and avoid it in the rest of site pages?
2) Is it possible to deactivate the header banner ad and the other ads?

Thanks in advance for your help!
See you soon.

Hi,

1. You could use a do_shortcode containing an ad box with a custom ad code – https://www.screencast.com/t/NJvjNc5ia and enter it in the single file corresponding to your post template file used (post template style 2 – single_template_2.php) from the theme folder, and insert the code in the post structure – https://www.screencast.com/t/CyBEbovSJ with this result – https://www.screencast.com/t/um83ptD49aUh Then you could set some padding top for the ad – https://www.screencast.com/t/MXlbBnvjN This is the shortcode used (you may use a different custom ad if that one is already in use)

<?php echo do_shortcode ('[td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1" tdc_css=""]'); ?>

2. I do not understand exactly what you mean regarding the category page. The structure is the same, a content and the sidebar – https://www.screencast.com/t/0IlE56eALnv both in the theme width https://www.screencast.com/t/U392OBp02Q If it is a background ad it will be displayed in the background of the page.

Thanks

Hello _pages,

1)In your case, you should use a bit of CSS code. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

The code is ->

.td-page-header{
display:none!important;
}

The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ieTXODmOn3

For this page, here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/egm9vtjIGBqG, I have noticed that you are using the Pagebuider+latest articles+pagination as a page template and you do not use any VC elements from the body of the page and that’s why you bring that white space. After you achieve best results with our theme, please try to read all our documentation and try to understand every element of it and also, when you can properly use the Visual Composer, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-use-visual-composer/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-page-templates/

2)If you do not like to have page title, you should change the Page Template, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/hwViuGrVvQba

If you need more assistance in this regard, please let us know, provide more details about what you do not understand and we will glad to help you.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

1. You could remove the More from author from the code so it does not display anymore. Just comment or remove this line of code from the file td_block_related_posts.php found in the theme folder->includes->shortcodes – https://www.screencast.com/t/vveTQPuDPSB9

2. If you want the block to display below the comments section in the post page, you must edit the single_template_2.phpfile like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/WXoV9CZ6yh3 and use the full Visual composer code with a full row – https://www.screencast.com/t/bnW23tVd2Pt This is the result – https://www.screencast.com/t/YJrBoBfBw

Thanks

Hi,

Sorry for the delay! Unfortunately we don’t work on weekends, please check the support hours – https://www.screencast.com/t/laTNTs6Zn1

You use Blog as frontpage, so in this case you can change the module from Theme Panel > Template Settings – https://www.screencast.com/t/1R0jdkPkag You use module 15 which takes all the post content and not excerpt.
Also if you want to create a static page and set it as frontpage please check this tutorial – https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/ I suggest to read the docs.

Also please change the one star rating and provide a better one, it will mean and help us a lot.
If you are unsatisfied and you cannot use the theme, you can ask for a full refund here – https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/new we will agree with it so you can find another template that suits to your needs.

Thanks!

Bogdan! This tutorial of yours worked just perfect!!! Thanks

So here it is in short what I did if you want to try
1. Get your App ID and Code for Comments from Facebook Developers. It is super easy but if you don’t know how to do, there are a lot of how-to on internet. However as a tip you just need to create a new App (for Website) and the use this link to configure the code for your site (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/comments#configurator)

2. After get your code from FB, you go and aste your big piece of code right after body tag (there is a screenshot about how to do that) http://screencast.com/t/97g6RJdc02cp

3. Change the file of each post templase you use.
In my case I changed all SINGLE_TEMPLATE files instead LOOP_SINGLE files. The only difference between change SINGLE_TEMPLATE files instead of the LOOP_SINGLE ones is the position where the Plugin will be placed. With you go with the Single_Template your comments area will be quite in the end of the post after all things (which I like more because it is more intuitive for users to find you comments area on the bottom). The LOOP_SINGLE files place your comment area after the post itself and before the author box. For me this mess a little the design.
So is you go with SINGLE_TEMPLATE follow this: http://screencast.com/t/wPRAEUTQrkU it should look like so: http://screencast.com/t/ie2S4vTFZ
But if you wnat the comments right after the Post itself change LOOP_SINGLE following this: http://screencast.com/t/TpOJKoUG8g
*** Use this code for the template files (do not use that one facebook says to paste on each page because only this one gets automatic the permalink for each of your posts) >>
<div class=”fb-comments” data-href=”<?php echo get_permalink($td_mod_single->post->ID); ?>” data-width=”100%” data-numposts=”5″></div>

and boom, you have noe a FB Comments plugin working pretty on your website

Hi,

You can choose a template for the latest articles section like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/cRi49ySfd2IC and change the limit post number here – https://www.screencast.com/t/9sTYS6L2Z More information about page templates here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/

Hi,

I do not see any problems with your sidebars or footer sections. You can add content to the footer in these locations – https://www.screencast.com/t/KlYPnsPpHMe More information here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/ You can add content to the sidebar the same way if you use a widgetised sidebar – https://www.screencast.com/t/D4fhQlzJF or in Visual composer page structure if you use a split row sidebar – https://www.screencast.com/t/MRwBn0HBDVX

Hi,

Using Visual composer – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/ you can create your own pages with the elements and the structure you want, and then set a static page as the homepage – https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/ Here is a tutorial about the blocks used to create your pages – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/ to help you understand their functionality. For example you could create a page with a big grid on top – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-1/ and latest articles below – https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/ if you would like to keep the blog look.

Thanks

Hi,

The mobile theme plugin is an optional plugin, you can choose not to activate it and the theme will display properly on all devices do to it’s responsive design. Also it could be mentioned that the mobile theme comes with predefined templates for the homepage, posts and categories, and if you want to display the same content from desktop on mobile you should simply not use the mobile theme. More information here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thanks

Any chance to get custom options for pages templates like with categories ?

Categories options are awesome… but we dont have any thing to make cutsom pages templates – and I’m not talking about VC inner templates. I’m talking about Page templates -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/

Hello,

If you want to show a list of all the latest articles on your pages, you can simply use the page builder + latest articles page template: https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/

Tank you!

Hello,

Well since the plugin is not tested, there is no solution we can provide for the async javascript. As a workaround, you can try to disable the theme lazyload animation as that is the first to break on a js error. Your images will appear again but you will have to test other parts of the theme that will not work properly because of the js error the option creates. You will have to check the site and if you encounter any other errors, you should keep in mind that the async option is on and try to disable it if anything else occurs.
As for the news ticker, you can add it on any at all page as it;s a simple element found in the visual composer element list.
If you want to add it on posts, you can do it from the theme code for every post at one. You will have to add this code:

<?php echo do_shortcode ('[td_block_trending_now tdc_css=""]'); ?>

Add the code on each of the post templates that you use (each post style has it’s own file):
https://www.screencast.com/t/NKMofpKm7z

Thank you!
