Hello nikkib312,
Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized.
-> https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=ro&url=http%3A%2F%2Fyesitreallyhappened.com%2F&tab=desktop
Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ you can increase the page speed loading and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because the speed optimization services are not covered by our support policy, as you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ regarding on dedicated server to fit our requirements.
Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. For minifying this file, we are using CloudFlare for our demo and works fine. If you want to read other views from our users, please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tip-how-to-easily-minify-your-css-without-breaking-your-site/
Also, check all of your Ad Spots and if you have entered any suspicious code through them, remove all of them and check the results without them.
One of our top members here on the forum wrote his own optimization tutorial here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-chriss-custom-optimizations-for-functions-php-etc/ and here -> https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/
Basically, these are the theme requirements
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Daniele,
Ensure that your system status parameters are correctly increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ clear all the caches and check the results. Also, check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ Keep in mind that the TD Composer has been fully tested and should works as expected, without any problem.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
You probably have wp-debug active – https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Where is that notice appearing exactly? Does it cause any problems? Did you make any modifications to the theme functions file or other files directly?
Is the same happening if you deactivate all plugins except theme plugins?
Hi,
Be sure to check the theme requirements guide here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Most hosting plans initially limit the allocated resources and also some necessary PHP modules may not be activated. Go through the guide carefully. Those are general recommendations and may solve your problem. Ask your hosting to make changes if needed.
Hi,
Unfortunately, I cannot access your website! Check your system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further investigate it closer your setup page. Provide there the link to this topic so we can quickly identify you.
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
The first thing to check would be the theme requirements, system status section
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
It is imperative that the parameters mentioned in the guide are configured properly. Insufficient resources can cause many issues with the theme or the plugins, if needed ask your hosting provider to increase them as specified.
If there is no need for that, or after making changes it still happens, check if there are any errors in the browser inspector console, while saving a setting in the theme panel.
Server security modules or firewalls may block the admin ajax denying access. In similar cases the issue was caused by that
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cant-save-theme-options-2/
Thanks
Hi,
That is unusual, so you are importing a cloud single template and saving it
– https://www.screencast.com/t/9U2Iwi6ZX3E
And then this template does not appear in the post template selection screen
– https://www.screencast.com/t/bavrPw7aP7RE
Does it appear in the cloud library? – https://www.screencast.com/t/ARrgmIrJaT
Does this happen with all the single templates you import? What happens if you import a category cloud template?
Do these appear in the category template selection like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/mzkm3yZmq
Please also check the theme requirements, make modifications if needed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thanks
Hello,
Unfortunately there is no one solution to fit all issue. This error can be caused by a whole number of issues. It has to be investigated for each case in particular.
There are a few steps you can take into trying to debug this issue though.
The first one would be to make sure there is no plugin conflict.
Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Also make sure you meet the requirements for newspaper: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ check the system status section of the theme as it will let you know of any major problems that can cause errors on your site.
If all else fails, please contact us on our email address at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to your site and wp-admin (login information and admin rights) so we can login and investigate. Please also include a link to this conversation so we can identify you.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please use this guide to increase our wp memory as well as php memory:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
IF the plugin still has trouble installing, try to installing it as a wp plugin in the plugins section by pressing the add new button.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hello,
Your errors are memory related. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Make the proper adjustments to the memory allocation and read the guide carefully. If you use more plugins add 256 mb of memory to wp-config.
Thank you!
Hi there, Thank you for your help. But our host meets all the requirements that Newspaper demands. We are using W3 Total Cache for other news paper themed website which is working correctlyand It is https://www.eniyivitamin.com/

There is no error in the theme, those would be the theme requirements for a proper functionality.
Carefully make modifications to your WordPress and server parameters, ask the hosting for assistance, surely they would help you with this task.
If those requirements are not met, there most likely will be problems using the theme and theme plugins.
The requirements are basic, they would also be required by most other premium themes.
Hello,
First please make these adjustments in order to be sure you meet the requirements for the newspaper theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Then please check your cache plugin and make sure you only use wp super cache. Please check any caching provided by the host and disable it.
For page speed please use the following guides:

Thank you!
Hi,
That probably means there is not enough WP memory. Please follow this theme requirements guide carefully and make modification if needed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Or contact your hosting provider and ask them to make the modifications for you if needed. For most users a 256M memory value would be enough.
Thanks
Hello SMNBLOG,
Maybe you have a strong cache and that’s why does not work. Try to clear all of your caches from the panel, purge CDN files and check the results. Also, check your system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello dk,
I have inspected your menu on mobile and I saw that it’s not working. Please try to disable all of your untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. Check your system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ If the problem is still there, try to make a new install to another subdomain for testing via FTP way and check the results.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
That is quite an old theme version, you must also be using an old WordPress version. You should consider to update everything, theme, plugins, WordPress.
It is highly recommended and good practice to update as soon as possible and available. This way you will benefit from increased security and new features, compatibility and other factors
– https://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress
– https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/why-you-should-always-use-the-latest-version-of-wordpress/
Check the changelog at the bottom of the page on themeforest to see the many fixes, also huge number of new additions in the theme. Consider to update to the latest version
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Review the new theme requirements guide as well
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
I can’t access the screenshot you posted – https://www.screencast.com/t/RVhkji6gomu
Older theme versions are not available for download. Through themeforest only the latest version can be downloaded which at the moment is 8.8.2.
We don’t provide such older versions for security issues and maybe WordPress incompatibility.
Thanks
Hi,
That issue is quite common with WordPress, a simple Google search for the message would be enough to see that. It is not specific to a theme, it may happen regardless of theme used. For example – https://wordpress.org/support/topic/the-link-you-followed-has-expired/
In that case the max upload size was limited, increasing it solved the problem.
Check this guide carefully and make modifications if needed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Contact your hosting provider if needed and ask them to make changes as the guide suggests.
Also note that the most recommended and reliable method to install a theme is by FTP
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
This is also used to update, install plugins etc.
Thanks
Hello conradross,

Also, before sending us an email, please check your system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ Clear all the caches and check the results. Include into your email the link to this conversation so we can quickly identify you.

Hi,
Most issues with images are caused by plugins or code entered in the theme panel, theme files or child theme. Check all of these one at a time. Deactivate all your plugins except theme plugins, temporarily remove codes you entered in the theme panel (ad codes, custom codes, scripts etc). If you use a child theme deactivate it. After each step check if the issue is solved.
The multiple errors in the website suggest a conflict
– https://www.screencast.com/t/DEkp7BkDpzbA
Try what I suggested, hopefully you can identify the cause of the image problem.
Also be sure to check the theme requirements carefully, insufficient resources provided by the server and inactive required modules will cause the theme and theme plugins to not function correctly
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
The WP memory can be set higher if possible and allowed by the host, for most users a value of 256M is sufficient. Let us know what you find.
Thanks
Hi,
So by updating the theme and theme plugins now that error is displayed while using the composer. First please check the theme system status panel and this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Similar issues were solved by increasing the WP-memory value, in many cases a value of 256M did the trick. You could try that as well, contact your hosting provider if needed or make the modifications yourself.
Let us know the results.
Thanks
Hello Javier,
This usually happens due to low memory. Please use this guide to increase your memory allocation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Plugins can also be a possible cause so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello creativetoria,
Check the system status parameters to be highly increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello journeyofresilience,
Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and WordPress, check the system status parameters to be correctly increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Usually a WP memory of 256M would be sufficient for most users. Woocommerce is a resource heavy plugin, they mention an 128M minimum
– https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/server-requirements/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If there is no need for modifications in your case, then you could try the solutions from these topics which solved some issues with the composer previosuly
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/
Let us know if these solve the problem.
Thanks
