Hello –

I notice that your smart list has a featured image when viewed in the category but it is hidden on the post itself. How did you achieve this?

For example:

iPad pro post – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/tagdiv-technology/tagdiv-gadgets/page/2/

actual post has no featured image – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/apple-ipad-pro-review-powerful-ipad-experience/

Similarly, Smartlist style 4 shows a featured image in the category – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/tagdiv-lifestyle/tagdiv-recipes/

but no featured image on the post – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/smart-list-style-4/

I use your theme with a child theme. I added this code to style.css:

line-height: 35px;
}

.td-post-content h2, .td-post-content h2, .td-post-content h3, .td-post-content h4, .td-post-content h5 {
letter-spacing: 0px;
}

But it didn’t affect my site here: http://surfsecured.net/hostgator-web-hosting-review/

Please help me to make child theme working.

I have setup a Newspaper wordpress theme and added some posts to preview the outlook. But I found that the whole content of a post displayed in index page is being displayed out. When I look into the demo site of Newspaper theme, the post content can be trimmed up to “…”. I would like to ask where can I enable this setting for my own site?

After installing the demo, when i visit the site it doesnt appear like the theme live preview, it leaves out some content and makes lots of white space, more like div tags being wrongly misplaced.

What I’m trying to do is alter the loop across my site so it will check the site URL so it will know which content to display based on tag.

For example, if I give some posts the tag “golfclubs”, I want it to work something like this:

if ($_SERVER['HTTP_HOST']=="www.golfclubreviewdomain.com"){
        // code here to display only the "golfclubs" tagged posts within the loop
}

And my final question, what change do I make to display more than 1 type of tagged post? maybe something like “golfclubs” and “general”?

Where would I place this code to make the changes to every loop across my site?

Hi,

I have just installed the latest patch. Prior to this my site was working fine but after the upgrade if I look at my site (http://honestcarreviews.com) none of the post images load. If I look at the posts themselves the featured images and all others are set correctly.

Nothing else has changed, please help!

I am sharing this bug with developer team in comment section about a week ago but still the schema tags issue is not solved.

I request TagDiv team to please solve this issue because it causes error in Google webmaster tool as well as seo issue.

Hello all!

I’m new to the theme and the forum, I have to say I love setup of it and I’m enjoying getting going from using a different theme. I have a gaming site, MyGamesLounge.com but I am currently setting up the site as MGLmix.com while I get everything together.

I have a couple of questions/suggestions if I may.

1. Category descriptions. According to the SEO plugin from Yoast each category should have a 300 word description for good SEO (had no idea about this!). But this displays on the front end of category pages which is a bit much before any content.

Currently I have used the display:none css trick to hide it which is ok. Is there way to either a) use the read more tag to hide some of it but allow the user to expand it? b) Just display an excerpt from the text c) Use a toggle shortcode to expand more?

Could be an idea to make this a setting in a future update if we all need to do this long description for SEO.

2. Review Scores. At present, a review score is created by averaging criteria which is fine most of the time. But sometimes, especially for games you might want to round up or down by a few points.

Is there a way to display the overall score field on the post back end as an “override” option so we can manually type the overall score?

3. User review scores. More an idea, simply because its the one feature we are loosing moving over which is not such a big deal.

Have you considered in your updates adding the option for users to have an option to give their game score say, underneath the editors score?

Hi, my site (eyesandvoice.com) Theme blocks is not functioning proper since Updates. The blocks are over lapping – It looks really bad. Please help!

I tried switching back to the older version of theme but couldn’t upload as its saying style.cc is unavailable or something.

Block 1 (Dont Miss and Latest Review) and Block 11 (Music), ‘Most Popular’ (sidebar) on posts. Also on my pages non of the blocks are working properly.

Please help!
