Hello marijnvdgruiter,
I have inspected your website on my mobile and it seems to work as expected, without any problems. Try to clear all the caches and check the results. Also, check the system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thanks for the message!
Hello Michel,
Check the system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
The first thing to check would be the theme requirements, system status section
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
It is imperative that the parameters mentioned in the guide are configured properly. Insufficient resources can cause many issues with the theme or the plugins, if needed ask your hosting provider to increase them as specified. Let us know if there still is a problem.
If there is no need for modifications in that matter, in some cases the solutions from these topics worked for blank pages and other composer problems, you could give them a try if possible
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/
Additionally try deactivating all plugins as a quick test, leave only theme plugins active. Check if this has any effect.
Please let us know the results after trying these suggestions.
Thanks

Your theme (Newspaper) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme.
Woocommerce Image doesn’t open in with Lightbox.
What is wrong? What should I do?
Faced the same issue. The error goes when rolled back to older version of theme. Unfortunately only have the 8.6 version of the theme saved instead of the second last version.
The error goes away if the Composer plugin is deactivated. So using the theme without the composer plugin for now and hence my homepage is not so good as I cant use the earlier existing page which was working fine till 8.7.2.
I have checked the system status too. It has all the values that are needed. It appears to be some bug that happened after 8.7.2.
Hi, I’ve been having this problem again for some time now. I increased status parameters, disabled all plugins, checked the system status in the theme panel, but nothing seems to work.
Uploading a 750x500px image with your theme takes about 12 seconds. I tested it with a wp default theme, Twenty Seventeen, and it works fine. Upload takes 2 seconds.
Is there a way to speed up backend with your theme?
Hello spu,
Ensure that your system status parameters are correctly increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ This problem could be from your wp_memory. Try to increase it, clear all the caches and check the results. If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further investigate it closer your setup page.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
That error is most likely caused by insufficient memory, not the actual theme update
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/fix-wordpress-memory-exhausted-error-increase-php-memory/
Check the theme system status panel, if needed contact your hosting and ask them to increase the WP memory and other paragraphs as mentioned in the guide (or higher WP memory if possible)
Thanks
Hi,
Please check the theme system status panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/
In some cases the 500 errors were caused by insufficient WP memory, try increasing the value if needed. You can increase it more then in the guide if possible. Then install the theme again by FTP
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/
Update the theme plugins as well. Let us know the results.
Thanks
Yesterday updated to Newspaper 8.7.5. I saw that my mobile version of the site didn’t work so I deleted the former mobile plugin and then tried to install the new mobile plugin from the package.
When I do that I get:
Sorry, your request cannot be accepted.
« Dashboard
So, now I no longer have a mobile version of my site but I realy need it.
Please some help from support or users who solved this problem.
Regards,
Hans.
P.S.
Theme panels system status says all ok.
WordPress version 4.9.6.
Hi,
So before updating the theme and composer there was no problem, and after the update there is an overload. That should not be, if anything it would be better since we removed an additional plugin (multi-purpose) and included it’s features in the tagDiv composer.
Maybe this is a server limitation, please check the theme system status
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Check if the same thing happens if you only have theme plugins active, with no theme modifications made.
Thanks

Hi,
If you cannot access the backend, only with cPanel or FTP would you be able to deactivate plugins. Then you should be able to access WP-admin
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-deactivate-all-plugins-when-not-able-to-access-wp-admin/
The HTTP 500 error was fixed in some cases by increasing the WP memory according to the theme requirements or higher if possible
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Check the theme system status panel, see if there are enough resources. Contact your hosting if required, ask them to increase them if needed. Also maybe they can check the error logs, to see what has caused this problem. Let us know as soon as possible.
Hi,
That would be just one of the problems. Try to use the header search function, related articles section also is not functioning and displaying correctly, the author avatar is not displayed as well. These issues are happening on all of the posts I tested and category pages, the homepage works properly.
I would suggest that you first deactivate all your plugins except theme plugins, clear all installed caches or server provided, clear CDN as well if used. If you enter any code in the theme panel (custom code ad codes etc) temporarily remove it. The same for theme modifications if you mad any.
Additionally check the theme system status panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If needed ask your hosting provider to increase the allocated resources. Let us know the results.
Thanks
Hello bpzoodesign,
Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, update the plugins, check the system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ and check the results.
Thanks.
Hi,
The theme is compatible with woocommerce, however dedicated or advanced elements for woocommerce do not exist. There is only one simple demo page
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_tech/shop/
Maybe themes that are built with this in mind may have more complex options for maintaining a shop and selling products.I cannot say if there will be more woocommerce elements or features added in the theme, at the moment there would be no plans in the matter.
The theme will display a message requiring activation constantly, while creating posts or pages for example. Note that you can activate the theme for demonstration or testing purposes. The activation can then be reset in the theme system status panel.
As long as the theme is used on a single live website there will be no problem, according to Envato license terms
– https://themeforest.net/licenses/terms/regular
Thanks
Hi,
So you cannot enter the form code in the newsletter, or set a custom title and description for the newsletter. Please first check the theme system status panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If needed ask your hosting provider to increase the parameters mentioned in the guide. Then check if this solves the issue. Many composer and theme problems are caused by limited insufficient resources.
If there is still a problem, try as quick test to deactivate all your plugins except theme plugins. Then test the composer and newsletter on a new page. Let us know.
Thanks
Maybe you are not updating the theme plugins besides the theme. There could be problems if you only update the theme and not the plugins. All of those errors are related to the composer.
The latest theme version provides composer version 2.3, this composer is created specially for this theme so in combination with the theme it should not cause such problems. Most of the problems we identified so far were with server configurations.
However updating the theme should not cause such complete website crashes. Why were’t you able to access the dashboard, what ere the errors? What were the identified causes, or what did your hosting deactivate in order to fix the problem? We had no similar reports regarding the latest theme update from our users. Of course exceptions can happen. I will pass any information you can provide to our developer team. The composer has been improved significantly over previous versions, it will continue to be.
Check the theme system status panel, the requirements are here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Maybe also maintain a local copy of the live website and first test updating the theme there, to see the results.
If the system status is configured properly then the next possible cause is this one. Do you maybe have a security plugin or server security module enabled? These can sometimes cause problems when saving or with the theme panel in general, like in this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cant-save-theme-options-2/
Check with the browser inspector console while trying to open the panels that are not working, see if there are errors there.
Hi There,
I can not seem to get the Live Css to save. I have verified the system status parameters, php settings, and have deactivated all unnecessary plugins. The save just spins and spins.
Do you have any hints for me?
Thank you!
it’s already match to theme system status.
All tab in font type menu can open, except:
Post elements
Post title
Modules and blocks – Article Title
Modules MX and other blocks – Article Title
these four keep loading
Hi,
@stijnleblansch So the composer worked before and now it will not function correctly. It would be important that you use the latest theme version (8.7.4) and also latest plugin versions (the tagDiv composer is now 2.3). Your website seems to be redirecting here
– https://fruittr.com/
There were many improvements made in the theme and also the composer over the last few updates.
First try to use the composer on a new page, to see if it is something specific to one or a few pages, or something more general.
Most important are the allocated resources. These can be seen in the theme system status panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If those parameters are not set according to the requirements, there could be problems. If possible and if needed increase them, or contact the hosting to increase them. Then check if the problem is solved.
In quite a few cases the solutions from these topics worked for blank pages and other composer loading problems, you could give them a try if possible
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/
Thanks
I thought you were decided to request a refund. We will try to help you with the problems you are having.
You simply have to install the theme, we have these guides
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Be sure to check the theme system status panel after installing it. There are theme requirements in terms of WordPress and server that should be set. If needed contact your hosting provider for help
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Then install the demo you want. Choose with or without content
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
With content the homepage of the demo will be provided. You can edit that homepage and configure the elements to display your own content instead of the demo content.
Without content the demo homepage will not be provided, you will have to build it with the tagDiv composer.
Let us know if you have problems and we will try to help you.
hi, I recently updated my website with your theme and I noticed a slowdown in performance. The site continues to load as if there were some background process that fails to load. On the homepage, for example in the slider images just below the featured images, the first img load and the rest remains empty or it load after 3 min.
Can you tell me what’s wrong with the site? The plugins installed are those suggested by you plus 2 extra (which do not affect the upload because trying to disable it does not change anything).
I could not install WP Super Cache because it says “not supported”. And the only warning I see in system status is this Speed Booster v4.9.3 – Disabled – incompatible plugin detected: akismet / akismet.php
I also have the jetpack plugin (by default) and disabled lazy load and other stuff.
Also Regenerated Thumbnails.
Tried to follow your guide for a faster website but I can not understand much …
