Hello mertensr,
Unfortunately, please notice that here is talking about two different things, the POST pages, and PAGE. The theme does not have any such an option that allows you to use the post template for page template, sorry! All of these has different functionalities. I suggest you use the Cloud Template Library to create your own template according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi Chris217,
We recommend you to use tagDiv Composer for page builder, you can read about it here , also using tagDiv Composer you can use the templates from Cloud templates plugin, or your can create your own ones.
Thank you.
Hi,
In the footer you can either choose from the predefined footer templates
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Some have predefined content (your widgets will appear below this content) others are empty and will display only your widgets.
Or create a page containing the elements you want, then place it as a footer page
– https://www.screencast.com/t/cEKzmEhcs
In this case you can simply design a page with the tagDiv composer and set it as mentioned.
Note that through the cloud library plugin you also have access to footer page templates
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
– https://www.screencast.com/t/hfsfoH5bE
These templates can also be customized by you in the composer if needed.
Thanks
Hi,
@MESOTU Our composer is a front-end drag and drop page builder. If you decide that this is not helpful for you or you prefer a backend solution, you could use WPBakery.
Worth noting that most new features/options and the ones to come will not work with WPBakery, they are created specifically for the tagDiv composer. The cloud library plugin also works only with our builder.
Thanks
Hello maxmilesrl,
Did you have tried to create your own category template using the Cloud Library? I guess that option will resolve your problem. Please check the documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/ and try to create your own category page for each category if you want.
Thanks for your understanding!
p.s.
Visual Composer is not installed.
The list of plugins that are currently active are: Regenerate Thumbnails, WP Super Cache, Yoast SEO, tagDiv Cloud Library, tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Social Counter.
Hi,
It would be possible with a cloud post template
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
For example you can create/import a post template and set it only for the post you want. When using cloud post templates the ads can be entered in the template directly
– https://www.screencast.com/t/n26dDVuMCwZ0
So maybe create a special template with specific ads and select it only for the posts you want.
Thanks
Hello kaylee174,
1)Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to do this, sorry! As you can make is to create your own custom category template and exclude from the block those posts which you do not want to be displayed on your category page, using the Block Settings.
2)Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option for sticky posts, sorry! Another alternative for you would be to create your own category template and from the block you should display only the post you want to be displayed at that page, using the post ID. Notice that using the Cloud Template Library you can make a lot of things with TD Composer plugin because this is more powerful and allows you to make a lot of things.
3)I do not exactly understand what you mean, but please notice that you can create your own CSS code if you need to hide some posts from a certain page. Use the Inspector browser from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
4)The comments for category page is not available, sorry! The comments are available only for posts because this is the main WordPress functionality for comments. You should comment a post and not a category, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi forevermogulmag,
Yes you can do that, you can use tagDiv Composer, please read more about it here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
See an example https://www.screencast.com/t/iF3Qu4bqItWE
Also you can use cloud templates , read more about here https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
If you get stuck somewhere please lets us know.
Thank you.
Hi JanP,
You can use tagdiv Composer to do that ( https://www.screencast.com/t/kh6ztjTZB ), or custom css, or you can use Cloud templates were you will be able to customize the pages/post/etc. as you desire; please read more about Cloude templates here https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Thank you.
If the pages are built with the tagDiv composer or contain tagDiv composer shortcodes, or you used the cloud library plugin to create templates, then you should not deactivate the plugin. This will lead to problems, also code will be displayed in your pages.
Why did you deactivate the tagDiv composer exactly? We recommend this page builder to be used with the theme, more new features will be added for it specifically in future theme updates.
Maybe that code is causing the problem you mention with AMP. Deactivate the plugin and delete it, then install it again from the theme plugins panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/yyBKu6ciu
This will remove any code you might have entered in it’s files. You could also check the theme panel AMP ad code and analytics sections, you might have entered invalid codes there
– https://www.screencast.com/t/8PSySC578
Just import a 404 template using the new cloud library plugin and edit it to your liking then deploy it under template settings in the theme panel https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Hello,
I am using version 9.0.1
When I try to activate the tagDiv Cloud Library plugin, i receive the following error:
Fatal error: Unknown: Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in Unknown on line 0
This results in me not being able to access my website or my admin page. Is there a way around this? Please help
Hi,
Please remove all of your untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Also, you can refer to the following topic from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/td-cloud-library-error-on-editing/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Yes you can do that be set a template for each post or for global post ( you can set a global template with what you like to show in all post, and you can pot if you like individual template on some post ), to do that you need to use cloud templates.
You can read more about cloud templates here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Thank you.
Hi,
I think there was a misunderstanding, our theme have many styles and templates and you can now get more templates from Cloud Templates ( any one if you like it, you can have different templates/styles on your categories/pages/posts , or you can create your own one ).
You can find more about cloud templates here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Also please read articles:
How to customize your articles with single post templates https://tagdiv.com/customize-articles-with-single-post-templates/
How to set and customize an avathor page templates https://tagdiv.com/customize-author-page-template/
Sorry for misunderstanding, and if you have more question don’t hesitate to write us.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
I am testing the tagDiv cloud library plugin. Im doing a new template for my tag and category pages. Is there a way to display the tag and category description on the page?
Thank you
Hello wildbunnys,
Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option for this, sorry! You should try using the Cloud Template Library and create such a custom Category template which can be customized by yourself and as you wish. Using this functionality, please keep in mind that you can create your own custom category template using the TD Composer which allows you to add more elements and functionalities at your page. Please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/ to read more details for that plugin.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Mokana,
Please remove all of your untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Also, you can refer to the following topic from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/td-cloud-library-error-on-editing/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
So you mean the actual post content? It can be don with CSS, try it like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/K8Na5OktKB
.single .td-post-content {
background-color: #f9f9fb;
}
It can also be done by designing your own post templates with the cloud library and tagDiv composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Example – https://www.screencast.com/t/QiKRNJ8fIlM
There are many beautiful post templates already created by us which you can import (and modify if needed). More will be added. You can also create one entirely (blank template).
Thanks
Hello rocketman,
#3) If you want a wider post content for your ads, notice that you have to use the Cloud Template Library and customize your post template as you wish using the TD Composer which allows you to add any Ad size you want. Check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
1. Through the Cloud library you can import page templates, modify them if needed and save them. They can be reused when needed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
There are homepage templates, page templates and sections (blocks of content)
2. There aren’t many animation capabilities for the composer elements at the moment. Might be available in the future for specific or dedicated elements, can’t say exactly what will happen. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
Could be caused by a few things. In some cases the problem was the usage of security plugins or server firewall which blocked the cloud library plugin.
In other cases it was caused by using PHP versions higher than the maximum recommended 7.2.
Or maybe insufficient resources – https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Let us know what you find. We could also take a look, maybe we can spot something. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login and also cPanel if possible.
Thanks
Hi,
The comments section will always be displayed at the bottom of the post page. That is how it is defined in the code.
Using predefined post template this could only be done by making modification in the post template files. Some similar topics here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/post-comments-directly-under-post/
However using cloud post templates it is a matter of drag and drop while editing a post template
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Mtfs3iiv
The comments can be positioned differently in the post template by this method. You can find out more about the cloud library plugin here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Thanks
Hello,
You can create a new post template using the tagdiv cloud library plugin and remove the word ‘by’: https://www.screencast.com/t/Uu33HsTVZY
The date format is changed from the WordPress settings: https://www.screencast.com/t/FZQOeieR
https://codex.wordpress.org/Formatting_Date_and_Time
Thank you!
