We are using Newspaper 9.7.3 and an Header downloaded from Cloud Templates, Blank Header. We created a custom header with td composer adding mega menu component.

Where can I find the style sheet to edit the Header 27 from the Cloud Templates library? I need to remove a background URL that I can’t fix through TD_Composer.

I have this line of code below that I need to remove the URL for because it’s no longer valid and it’s slowing my website down by 9s.

in fact i have the same problem as picture below (it is’t my photo but someone who post it the themeforest.net)
when i want to modify a item

the problem exist because i use 2 editors : TAGDIV Composer or WPBAKERY Visual composer
the 2 plugins are active. if i desactivate TD Composer, WPBAKERY works normaly
what is the solution ???

The row padding was already set to 0, and the menu was set to inline but the height of the menu cannot be adjusted. I even tried creating a custom class for the menu in the TD composer and then adding CSS to set the height, but that did not work either.

Also:

1. I can’t set my submenus to use “background” as the hover style, I only have Default and Underline. Not sure why background appears for the main menu but not for the submenus.

2. The logo and header ad elements I have in the Header Builder appear to be positioned correctly, but when I preview them the header ad (728×90) shrinks way down and the logo moves far to the left.

3. I have the live search in the main header menu below the logo, but I had to create a 3/4 + 1/4 column and put the menu in the 3/4 and the live search in the 1/4, and now there is way too much space between where the menu ends and the search starts. Not sure how I can close that up. You can’t seem to click and drag to adjust sizes or spacing in the builder.

I have created three images to show what I am describing above. One is the view of the new header in the header builder, one is the way it previews, and the third is the header I have on our live site, which is using Newspaper 8.8.2. Thanks for any guidance you can provide.

Your suggestions helped move me along to a solution.
It turned out that there was an update needed on the stock quotes source site to white list my new site location. It was but something was messed up in cloning/developing/replacing the site. That was fixed and quotes now display correctly.

I couldn’t get the title font for Block 8/Module 7 to adjust to the settings in either the theme panel or the TDComposer Elements Style settings. I did a search and found I’d added some custom CSS in the past that globally said that ‘entry-title’ should be 21px !Important. I removed the !Important and now the local, granular CSS settings are in control.

I have two questions.
What is your preferred Developer viewer to best track the source of page errors? I’ve used the Tools on Chrome and Firefox. What is your first go-to tool?

Second, While updating my site (marketwisetrader.com) I tried to rebuild some essential pages (home, store,..) using the front end TDComposer. It doesn’t have as many block elements to work with but it seems that Newspaper programmers are shifting that direction. On my home page, in Composer view, a yellow warning pops up saying ‘This page was not made with TDComposer’. As best I can remember I started with my home page built with Page Buider, then replaced all rows, columns, and elements from the Composer dashboard. But the page still says, ‘Not built with TDComposer’. Will this create problems for me in the future? Do I have to begin with a new white page and Composer?

I Understand well how to set Custom AD directly with TD Composer, thanks.
But I can’t chose this option when I add an [TagDiv]_Ad_Box widget in my sidebars; I only may chose from a predefined list of ads slot, no box to insert custom code.
That’s why we need additional Custom_Ad slots in theme panel…

Second: i try to put it in my child theme and make an order td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/ and put her the changed file but it does not work

how can i become the changed file working, do i have to put something in my functions.php?
