Hi there,
we have on our webpage http://www.mkk-echo.de each day the problem, that the WP Login is not working. Just when we deactivate the plugins
td-cloud-library
td-composer
Thats the errormessage from the wp-login page
“We have again access to the page. Then we have to reinstall a wordpress version and we can activate the plugins again, that the work is working as expected. After a couple of hours the same issue appears (most over night).”
We tried already different WordPress Version, deleting other plugins, etc. Nothing is helping.
What can we do here?
Thanks in advance

Hello,
I recommend to use 8.0,8.1 or 8.2 , but please also, update the theme to the latest version 12.6.6
I recommend that you update the theme manually https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ via FTP/cPanel/File Manager, also if possible disable extra plugins during the theme update to avoid any problems that may arise and make sure that you have activated the tagDiv Standard pack plugin to keep the website’s look. You can try to update the theme on a staging website.
After you update the theme, you need to update the theme plugins too.
In the worst cases, the settings in the theme panel may be lost (there have been isolated cases), in these cases, after the theme plugins that were previously used are activated, you will have to use a backup for the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
You could consider reinstalling the WordPress version, and checking for this plugin wp-zexit.php. It might be wise to inspect via FTP if it doesn’t appear in the WordPress -> Plugins. Additionally, using Wordfence to scan the website and remove unknown users would be prudent.
Change admin passwords and delete admin accounts you are not familiar with;

– Delete the weird/unknown themes;

Please block /wp-json/tdw/save_css
If an attacker wants to target this URL /wp-json/tdw/save_css they can do so. Even if the website uses a different theme, the attacker can still try that URL. We could add an option to be able to enable/disable the Live CSS, it will be considered. But for now in order to remove it this can only be done with a modification to the composer plugin. I think that all that removing it requires is to comment this line of code – https://prnt.sc/RtwvL5Nc4ikR -> https://prnt.sc/ymZmhdUfp57U But as I mentioned, the attacker can still try to access the URL.
If you want, you can contact our custom work team here, and they can help you update the theme safely: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/
Thank you!
I started having PHP errors on my site (I have a dedicated server with no other sites on it) and my webhost said that TD Composer hasn’t been updated since 2018 and isn’t compatible with PHP 8.3. When I moved back to 7.4, site works great. I never had a problem until this morning and have been using 8.3 for two months and 8.0+ for at least two years.
Anyone know which latest version of PHP works best with TagDiv Composer?
Hi,
I’m using the woocommerce and td_woo plugin, and when i try to set the Woo Attribute Filters on category page, i get an error and i don’t really know how to solve the issue.
Maybe you can figure it out. If i disable the plugin, everythings works just fine.
Also, i reinstalled the plugin and still didn’t work.
Waiting for your reply. Thank you

Hi rahuldungawat,
Unfortunately there is no option in the theme to can do that, it will be need to do it manually in the theme files (it can be set in a child theme). The theme file path to the file that needs to be edited is wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/parts/single/single_template_8.php and the code is the one from line 18 to 23 – https://i.imgur.com/DujJGIn.png
I hope this will help you!
Hello
is it possible to use tagdiv composer in post content? I mean without editing the template for every post.
I’m almost certain I used tagdiv composer to edit content of articles instead of wordpress editor.
In Pages list I see “Edit with TDComposer”. I do not see this option for posts.
Am I wrong?
Hello,
For the issue with the image link, you can try to use this option -> https://i.imgur.com/LmJjrn7.png
For posts loop this is the path wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/common/tdb_loop.php and tdb_loop_2.php
For flex Block 1 you can find the files in these paths
wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/modules/td_module_flex_1.php
wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/shortcodes/td_flex_block_1.php
and for single this path wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/single
Thank you!
My site was built 2 years ago using tagDiv Newspaper theme for WordPress.
When trying to create a new entry, I get a blank screen.

tagDiv Composer – version 3.4 | built on 12.05.2022 9:11
If I disable the tagDiv Composer, the “new entry” page works again, but the site’s design breaks.

How can I fix this problem? Thank you.

Yeah – We’re only using TD Composer for our homepage. All our post editing is using the classic editor and we don’t really update the post template all that often.
In our case, lots of RAM, and we use the classic editor for normal posts vs TD Composer.
Hey All – We have a lot editors and we are a content heavy site and it seems that during our editorial cycle – TD Composer causes a lot of hits to our server when we update stories, etc. which will cause a traffic jam if you will of other processes. Is there a way to calm those hits down from the plugin?

Hi,
I would like to make some changes in code regarding the templates that are responsible for
– post loops
– Single post pages
– Some flex boxes
On category and tag pages I use post loop. On single post page i use template from cloud library with some design modifications. But i need some “under the hood” modifications in php for single as well as for the post loops. Can you tell me which php templates are responsible fr this as I can see many of them inside the Newspaper theme folder as wel as in the td-composer folder.
Thanks. And if there is more information needed, please let me know.

I have lost the correct formatting on my Newspaper site at https://rvtravellife.com. It looks perfect in TagDiv Composer, but doesn’t render correctly on the live site.
It should look the same as its sister site at https://thisoldcampsite.com. I’ve double checked all the settings are the same in TD composer between the two as well.
Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Hello,
Most of the mentioned links are links inside theme and extra plugins you are using, those are not for users to visit and only for theme and plugins functionality, for example this one “wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/js/tdAjaxSearch.js” if is removed from page source then the search will no longer work. Now there are sitemap and other links, but those should not cause problems, I believe are only checked by an extra plugin that you used that is checking all the links from the website.
Thank you!
Carlin, there are so many 404 pages. Please see if I can remove these pages, can you pick out the ones I can’t?

wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/js/tdAjaxSearch.js
When I active TD Composer or the theme I have problem in the back with JS. Lot of things stop working (fast editing from the post list, change the URL, …) And I get lot of errors in the console with different scripts. All the errors disapear if I deactivated TD Composer.

Possibly fix / temporary workaround is to comment out offending code lines:
$post_categories = get_the_terms( $post->ID, 'category' );
$featured_cat_name = TD_FEATURED_CAT;
//$post_categories = array_filter( $post_categories, function( $category ) use ( $featured_cat_name ) {
// return $category->name != $featured_cat_name;
//} );
Any ideas?
How can I search&correct error with TD Composer? I can give you access
