Hello.
I’m beginning to upgrade my pages from visual composer to TD composer. I start to build all my pages from cero (new pages) with TD composer. I’m NOT using both composers on the same page, but I still get this error “The current content page hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer!” when I re enter to a saved page and enter to TD Composer mode.
Can you help?
Thanks!
Ok so if I copy td_block_template_4 and edit it into my child theme.
Is it enough or Ishould to go to tagdiv composer and save the page ?
thanks

Hi,
I just imported the demo Newspaper template and wanted to modify some section on the home page. I could modify some sections with TD Composer; however, on the “Latest Articles” section and “Facebook fans+Instagram followers+Youtube subscribers” section, I could not modify anything.
Do you know how to modify two of these sections? Please suggest.
Thanks

Dear,
I see on my website that if width is smaller or equal to 1018px all td_block_grid_X are rendered normally with a width equal to 1068px.
But with a screen width upper or equal to 1019px the grid as a wrong alignment!
The good One

The bad One

When I updated to the new theme version, and as well the latest WP, half the sites was not working. Ultimate Addons created a mess as well. 1/4 rows moved to 1/1 rows and so on…
I solved it by DEACTIVATING TD composer, reinstalling newest VC and had to do some margin corrections in VC CSS block, and all is running again…

I have the same problem…
This happened after 8.1 update i guess…
Chrome console shows 2 JS’s
1- text.js
2- mode-less.js
couldnt be loaded…
Failed to load resource: (text.js) the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
Failed to load resource: (mode-less.js) the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
I have removed all plugins except TD Composer and reinstalled TD composer also , using cloudlfare i deleted cahce many times… Nothing changed this….
Website: http://sonsoz.com.tr (Showcased by Tagdiv)
Hope there is a solution?
Here is the documentation in question: https://forum.tagdiv.com/td_api_blockadd/
The api plugin will not have this parametere if you used it as it was built before the tagdiv composer was implemented. Please try the method specified in the documentation provided.
Thanks.
I have added the extra parameter, deactivated/reactivated the plugin. Made sure I am version 8.1 for the theme. TD Composer is 1.0. Still not showing up in the composer. Please advise.
Hello,
You will have to add an extra parameter to your block modification as shown here:
https://www.screencast.com/t/wO6pWZkj0gvq
The mapping in td_composer was not present before version 8.0
Thank you!
Hello,
I have quite a few custom blocks/modules/header/footer/topbars setup currently via a plugin. They display and are able to be used perfectly in Visual Composer. When I try to make a new page with the TD Composer though, none of the blocks are visible/able to be selected from the add elements section. Is this by design? Are there updates that need to be made to the TD Composer still? If I was able to select my custom blocks I could move away from Visual Composer. Please Advise! Thanks!
Dear team
I have a problem with saving a page using the TagDiv Composer. When I open a blank new page in the Composer, do some changes and hit save, the Save button never stops loading. When I check the console, I see the Save button calling the following URL: https://te2.malazachadzka.sk/wp-json/td-composer/save_post?uuid=54536bd1-923b-f9ad-9ed0-f658750eb48a , but the response is a 404 (or 500) with a rest message:
{
"code": "rest_no_route",
"message": "No route was found matching
the URL and request method",
"data":
{
"status": 404
}
}
This is very strange, because calling https://te2.malazachadzka.sk/wp-json/td-composer/ returns a proper reply, listing all methods, including save_post.
I would like to make sure that the Save button works properly before I migrate from Visual Composer to your new shiny great TagDiv composer.
I’m using Newspaper theme version 8.1 with a child theme. Happy to provide a temporary admin account to my site over email if needed.
Many thanks for your help!
Kind regards
Matej
Hi!
https://holographica.space/ – I made a row under header by editing the page with TD composer. I copied the code and entered it as header ad with header style 6, but then there’s red background UNDER the row. Is it possible to add the row to header without adding background below it?
Hey Team, TagDiv composer stopped seeing the home page that I created with it. I can see the page on my site, although it no longer shows up in TDC with this error: The current page hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer! Please let me know your thoughts… http://www.randyashburn.com
I am trying to use td composer, but when I pull it up, it displays my site as blank. The td composer side of the screen is there, but the half of the screen that is supposed to show my site is missing please help.
I just purchased Newspaper and have the Lifestyle Magazine template loaded to a temporary domain at thomasf99.wpengine.com. When I attempt to start designing my website with tagDiv Composer I get this error:
Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!
What should I do?
Hi Bogdan, how would we pull the post ID for each item inside a block loop into the module? Would it need to be registered in td_module.php in the same way that these module parts are;
<?php echo $this->get_author();?>
<?php echo $this->get_date();?>
<?php echo $this->get_comments();?>
Because simply adding
<?php echo get_the_ID()?>
Does the exact same thing as we’re outlined, works fine on category archibe page, and displays the main page ID when used in a Visual Composer Block.
Thanks
Matt
Hi,
I have tested the single image element on our td composer but the link works as expected: https://www.screencast.com/t/CglxVyRa
If the one on your end does not work properly, please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Then test again.
Also please do not use both the tagdiv composer and the visual composer plugins at the same time. Choose one and disable the other.
Thanks
Hi,
The background setting will apply on the whole website. There is no option to set a background only for specific pages or posts. When setting a background through the theme panel some classes will be applied to make the website boxed, it would be hard to replicate that for particular pages.
On pages, with the tagDiv composer you can set background colors or images for the rows for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/uniivqFv6X
You could try with custom code based on page ID, maybe something like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/oAMORoVH
.page-id-16558 .td-container-wrap {
width: 1164px;
}
@media (max-width: 1180px) {
.page-id-16558 .td-container-wrap {
width: 100%;
}}
body.page-id-16558 {
background-color: red;
}
But this is not tested properly, you could give it a try if you want to or modify the code further. Use the browser inspector to identify the elements and classes on the page
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
Thanks
Hi Bogdan, I’ve tried various things but it definitely seems like once the module is registered as a block in td_config.php and used on a page inside visual composer it loses the ability to properly select the post meta ACF field values.
I use ACF inside single post templates and all works fine, I used ACF in category view with a custom registered module and all works fine, it’s just when the same module is registered as a VC Block, all ACF values are lost.
Any ideas?
Matt
Hi MediaServicesTagDiv,
You should disable the TD Composer if you will not use because it’s not recommended to use the both plugins altogether, sorry! Try to make this change and check the results. If it will be with no success, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Also, you should provide the full FTP access and paste there the link to this topic so we can quickly identify you.
Thanks for the message!
Hi Rhonda,
Do you are using the TD Composer on a page which was made with Visual Composer in the past or vice versa? Notice that thing is not recommended to do because you can encounter such a problem. For more information about this regard, please check the following guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial-2/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
If is not what you mean, please provide more details, your website and if the problem persists, you should send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information so we can further inspect your setup page. First of all, before sending us this email, you should disable all of the untested plugins because these could be the major cause of your issue, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Thank you for the reply Catalin.
I checked our plugins and I did have to delete two that were no longer supported in our current WordPress version. All of our other plugins were in use with Newspaper 6, but just to be sure I turned off all plugins except for tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Social Counter, tagDiv Speed Booster, and WPBakery Visual Composer. When I tried to Edit a page after turning off plugins we still have no button for Visual Composer.
After I read your reply above I also deactivated, deleted and uploaded and activated these plugins, td-speed-booster.zip, td-social-counter.zip, js_composer.zip and td-composer.zip and then activated them. Then, with the plugins still off (except tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Social Counter, tagDiv Speed Booster, and WPBakery Visual Composer) I checked again and still do not have a Visual Composer button.
Here’s our Edit screen with no VC button: https://ibb.co/ecYcKv
Here are the plugins activated and deactivated while testing: https://ibb.co/bFpnma
Here’s our System Status: https://ibb.co/bG04XF
I updated http://sullivansislandmagazine.com/s/ and http://isleofpalmsmagazine.com/ from Newspaper 6 to Newspaper 8 usng these steps:
- LIVE SITE: Use WP All in One Migration plugin Export the site
- TEST SITE: On an empty domain I installed WordPress 4.8.1
- TEST SITE: All plugins were deleted and I installed WP All in One Migration
- TEST SITE: WP All in One Migration was used to Import the website to be updated
- I downloaded the Newspaper 8 update from ThemeForest
- TEST SITE: Newspaper 8 was uploaded via FTP, plugins were installed and activated
- TEST SITE: All desired updates were made (new home page build, sidebar recreated, if necessary etc)
- TEST SITE: site was checked to make sure it looked good
- TEST SITE: Used WP All in One Migration plugin Export the site
- LIVE SITE: Used WP All in One Migration plugin Import the site
- LIVE SITE: WordPress was updated to 4.8.1
- LIVE SITE: site was checked to make sure it looked good, this was when I noticed Visual Composer was not working.
I can work without Visual Composer and use TD Composer but I’d prefer to be able to use Visual Composer, especially if its supported by the theme. Any ideas?

MediaServicesTagDiv. Reason: added small detail in update process
Hello,
If you do not want to use our own tagdiv composer page builder, please deactivate it as keeping both VC and TDC active will cause layout issues.
Thank you!
