The tweet button was removed in the update, since Twitter decided to modify the button and not include a tweet count. The Facebook like count remained available. There would be no need for custom code in this case.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Indeed the tagDiv composer cannot be used on posts, only to create pages. Buttons on posts can be created however, like this

Please make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme, installed via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case. Ensure that your Visual Composer is updated to the latest version of it, according to the latest theme packet whit come with the theme.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Please ignore the Visual composer activation messages. The plugin provided in the theme package does not need to be activated, you can use it without worries.

The settings in your theme panel will not get removed. It is always recommended to make a full back-up before any major update though. You can export the theme panel settings to back them up: https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/

I see that the button element on your screenshot does not look similar to the one in this version of Visual composer. The plugin bundled with the theme works properly, but maybe you are using a different version, or you have updated the plugin.
Note that we will provide updates for Visual composer in theme updates, after they have been tested

Please also check the theme system status parameters, in some cases there are saving issue when there are insufficient resources

Changing the theme name would require you to modify the folder name and stylesheet name at least. Either update with WordPress or by FTP, both methods will require to remove the old theme. So you probably have to make the changes again

yes it will be overwritten when updating so it’s best to keep a back-up of your modifications so you can re-apply them after an update.
