Since I have updated the latest version of Newspaper, the widget sidebar does not appear anymore on my blog roll. It appears on other pages but not on the blog roll.

Hello, I have version 7.5, but I have it completely modified with CSS code, and I want to update to 7.6 but I do not want to lose custom CSS codes, is there any method of not losing anything? What is the easiest way to update without making a mistake ?, since our website is news and must be active every day.

I updated Newspaper to the version released yesterday on ThemeForest and Slider Revolution stopped working. When I click on Slider Revolution in my sidebar it says “Plugin Activation: Not Activated” and gives me the option to register it, and it shows that a plugin update is available but if I click it it says I need to activate.

I tried downloading the whole update (not just the installable theme file) from ThemeForest and uninstalled and attempted to reinstall Slider Revolution from that file, but it is still deactivated. Please advise?

I’m struggling with two issues pertaining the top menu and the footer.

1. In a recent entry in this forum (see https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/logo-sizeresolution-and-top-bar-bottom-border/) I asked the Support Team to help with displaying a 1px bottom border in the top menu of my site (site URL is http://www.psl.ucr.ac.cr). They came up with this code that worked very well for a while:

.td-header-wrap .td-header-top-menu-full{
border-bottom: 1px solid black;
}

Recently you released an update for Newspaper (version 7.6), which I installed successfully. The thing is that my top menu bottom border has disappeared since I updated the theme. I’ve noticed through Chrome’s developer panel the there is a none bottom border property for the top menu now, which I’m unable to modify from the Custom Code section in the Newspaper Theme Panel (see this screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/FpjgmqeCXnA7). I’m trying this code in the Custom Code section, but it doesn’t seem to work:

Could you please help with some correct code to display the bottom border in the top menu again?

2. I’m also trying to center some of the content in my footer. I’m using Style 8 for the footer, which divides the footer into two one-colum rows, the top row being empty so one can add some custom content. There I’ve added some basic text with links. All I need is to center at the middle of the page the text in that first row of my footer (see this screenshot: http://www.screencast.com/t/F21yp2mgdA). Could you please provide the right code needed to achieve that? I’ve tried some options, but they don’t seem to work.

I hope this is not too much to ask. Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi All,

I received an email to say that the Newspaper theme had a update and that I was to log in my Envato Account to access it. After logging in I only found my original newspaper theme purchase but no updates.

Also, I cannot find in the TagDiv website what the latest edition of Newspaper 7 is currently available.

Can anyone help me please?

We saw today that you recently updated the theme to 7.6.
Since we skipped version 7.5, can you please tell us how can we get the download of the 7.5 version so we can apply the patch folder of the theme?

Specifically with Smart Lists that are not enabled by touch. there is text added to the URL, but it continuously reloads page 1 of the pagination. I was having the issue on version 7.5. I just updated to 7.6 today and it’s still happening.

Any advice?

Newspaper already has a schema implementation, and it already has owner/author ratings for products, so we’d like an update allowing 1-5 star user/visitor ratings for blog posts.

We DON’T want review comments, because they clutter up the page. Just stars rating, and then the aggregate rating added to Schema markup. The sole goal here is star ratings for blog posts in Google, which the boss asked for.

Should clarify: we are looking for an update to Newspaper, not a plugin. We’ve tried 5 schema stars rating plugins, they all either conflict with the theme or require destroying the existing schema framework to implement (and they’re ALL missing critical elements).

I have updated the newspaper theme to version 7.6 and now I cannot get the sidebar to work. On previous occasions I changed the page template and that helped. Now with none of the templates I get the sidebar to show on the page. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!
