Hello,
It seems google changed their algorithm a bit. I do not think this has something to do with the update. In any case, we have this issue on our list as more users pointed this out to us. It will be fixed in the next version of our theme.
Thank you!
Hello fergusga,
This usually happens because of lazy load animation which’s script conflicts with some of the installed plugins and also, your plugins might cause a conflict with this in the latest update. You can make a test…if you will disable all your plugins, except Visual Composer, of course, and activate the lazy load, this kind of issue should not appear on your side.
Thank you for your message!
Hi
We changed the social counter implementation for facebook. Now the plugin uses the API key to retrieve the informations from facebook. Try to update the theme and the social counter at the latest version available on themeforest, clear all caches deactivate all others plugins and test again. Here are the update guides:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Updated to 6.5. Run the update script. Regenerated thumbnails. No images on site (including thumbnails, blog post images, everything).
What could be the issue?

Hi
Try do deactivate all plugins, except Visual Compose, clear all caches and test again. Also make sure that you updated the theme according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
If you still can’t manage to solve this issue please provide a link so we can inspect this issue closer.
Thanks!
Hello,
@pritiranjan your website suggest you use version 6.2 not 6.6.2 There is a bit of a difference between the 2 :). Please download the latest version of the theme from envato and update your version.
Thank you!
Hello,
@pritiranjan This was an issue caused by WP 4.4 and it got fixed in the latest version of our theme: 6.6.2 Please download and update to the new version.
Thank you!
Hello,
The envato toolkit sometimes causes errors so the best way to update is through FTP. The best way to update would be to remove your previous version and install the new. Your method works as long as you can replace old files with new ones. If you replace the files changed from 6.5 to 6.6.2 and add the new ones, it should work. Just remember to replace style.css for the theme version.
Thank you!
Hello @Infolites, @Mecburlar,
Please update the theme to the latest version. (6.6.2) The problem with category pagination was an issue caused by latest the update of WordPres and this was solved in our new update.
Thank you for the message!
Hello rentaguide,
First of all, please try to disable all the active plugins and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme. You should update to your Visual Composer to ultimate version (4.8.1). Also, you can read this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
After this changes, if your problem is still there, please try to update your theme to ultimate version.
Before to update, please backup the whole current theme installation as well as the database and wp install: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups
After this, you can use the ftp method from theme’s update guide to uploading theme’s files and remove the previous theme files before uploading the most recent ones then test this again and let us know how it goes.
You can find a video tutorial on how to do this in theme’s update guide here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you for the message!

Check permissions on your media folder; should be writable.
Some auto-updates of WP can reset this with permission too low.
Try resaving the default media sizes in the WP admin panel.
Be sure to clear all caching (any plugins); *and* in your web browser.
Turn off any/all image plugins (optimizers, Photon, etc.).
Did you clear your caching, reset CDN, etc. ?
If you upgraded from 4x to 6x, it’s an all new theme.
Often simply resaving the home page layout in VC will update it.
But TagDiv will have better answer here when they get back in.
Is there a reason why I can’t upload any images over 1020px wide and only Jpegs after the update?
Dear TagDiv Team
Pardon me. I would like to ask why my web is broken (the design is messed up) after update? Any suggest how to fix it?
It was fixed.
You likely need to update your caching, reset CDN, etc.
Latest update resolved issue. Make sure you clear your cacheing/reset CDN, etc.
It *is* fixed for those running WP 4.4.
Theme update was posted already and ready for download from your ThemeForest account. If you check the “send email” option on your downloads page you can be notified when updates are released.
@Andrei L i think updated the theme according with documentation .
the result of http://cyberscylla.com/category/more/security/ and
http://cyberscylla.com/category/more/security/page/2/ are same . Please look into the matter.
same issue,
thanx for explanation,
waiting eagerly for the theme update!
I don’t think the actual updated files list for the WP4.4 were included in the list of changed files for either theme, at least in the initial download. Meaning, for those who just wanted to drag over the single files for category/big grid fix, that was not self evident.
Hi there,
i use .td-post-content p:first-child {font-weight:bold !important;} in my css and since the last update no longer works. I’ve now tried around a bit, unfortunately I can not find any solution. Has anyone a hint for me?
Hi,
Thank you for the answear.
I know how to install the theme & plugins first time, but don’t know how the procedure looks like when there is the new theme version (and plugins bundled in it). When I update the theme (I know how to update the theme only) should I update the plugins also every time ? There is no information that the plugins are outdated in the admin.
Regards,
Rafal
