Everything is updated but still The following plugin “tagDiv Cloud Library” was disabled because they are incompatible with this version of Newspaper.

I would gladly recommend you to make a backup and update plugins and the theme via file transfer to the latest update: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
First of all, please make sure you have a backup done and then you can update the theme and the TagDiv plugins also.

Also, please use only one builder and not both because they will be in a plugin conflict.
If you have some custom modifications in the theme files, then better save the code and replace it after every update.

Hi, I was trying to update all the outdated theme and plugin, all the items were updated successfully but this error occur when the theme is being updated, I cant access the backend anymore and the site is down, can you help?

Hi,
The most simple solution will be to use a css that will remove the click on the links. Editing the theme files can also be a solution, but it will be need to edit to many files and those changes can be load after a theme update.
The code that can be used is:
.td-tags a, .tdb-tags a{
pointer-events: none;
}
Set the code in the theme panel > custom code> custom css.

I have an error on my website with the Newspaper theme, when accessing it in the mobile version the website is blocked and does not allow scrolling, I have updated everything and it keeps happening, I need to know what it could be.

You can go to Newspaper -> Plugins and there you can upgrade, install and activate that plugin if you need it.
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

If you need to use the mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
Edit every article and add their own source at the bottom of the page in Gutenberg: https://prnt.sc/luIJRVlP8V5X

Indeed the sticky sidebar from the theme panel have a problem with the extra class that should made the sidebar sticky (that class is no longer apply). This will be fixed in the coming update.
As an alternative what we can suggest is to use a single post template from cloud library – https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/
If you had the footer made using widgets, then please check if those were not moved from footer columns in inactive widgets.

Hi GusV, if you are referring to the theme panel option for the sticky sidebar, there was a problem with it in the theme panel. This will be fixed in the coming update.

If you have problems with the website layout than the theme update and you also use a cache or optimize plugin, then it can be a conflict between the theme option for inline the css and the one from the plugin. What you can do is to disable the theme option an clear the cache and check if the problem is resolved – https://i.imgur.com/iQR12eR.png

I have the same issue and am in emergency mode here. While I was working on our dev version, I accidentally updated Newspaper Theme on the live site. All requirements should be met. This is a very active site, and while I could restore to last night’s version, we’ve had some major content updates earlier today.
Dev site – updated tagdiv composer and library and am getting above error when I activate composer.
Live site – accidentally updated newspaper from 10.3.9.1 to 12.6. I don’t want to update composer and library until I can fix the errors on our dev site. I was able to upload the older version of newspaper and deactivate the other, but I’m unable to activate the older tagdiv plugins. Something that got changed in wp_options, I’m guessing, is blocking this.
All of this was predicated by issues with the wp-zexit issue, which I’ll read more about once we can get our site back up!!!

The link you’ve posted doesn’t have any mention of checking the wp_options table. Are TagDiv going to release an update to actually fix the vulnerability in TD Composer?

I think Newspaper is a brilliant theme, I use it on many of my sites, updates have always gone smoothly and improved the theme, but 12.06 broke everything.
An Ajax error occurred during the update, both the WordPress panel and the website stopped working. A message appeared:
“Service Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.”
Manually removing the tagDiv Composer plugin and reinstalling it did not help as it could not be installed/activated. I had to restore a backup of my entire WordPress.
Please help me how to solve this problem. Will there be another update soon that will not cause this problem?

After the last update (12.6) the following problems occurred:
The floating sidebar stopped working (image 1).
An entire footer that was on the website disappeared, full of links and important information (image 2).
All html information disappeared in the widget area that showed the footer divided into 3 columns (image 3).

In fact, when creating a post, I just have my standard editor without any Newspaper options available. Should I go back to the previous version of Newspaper or can you assist online? Thank you.

Everything can be fixed. I can see the mobile theme displaying on the desktop and mobile versions too. This situation appears when you are using the mobile theme plugin and the cache plugin that you have does not feature options for a separate mobile theme plugin therefore do not know when to deliver the mobile version and when to deliver the desktop version.
