Since today’s update to version 12.3.1, the social share shortcode has disappeared from all pages in the frontend.
In the backend (i.e. when editing a page) it is visible and you can customize everything.
On the blog posts nothing has changed, there it is visible.
According to the changelog -> the shortcode was extended by some functions -> Bug?
Nothing else has been changed…
any update, please???
Yeah but you don’t provide any real answer… Problem appeared with one of the last update of your theme.
The theme become more and more buggy…

I noticed that my html ad links suddenly stopped working since a newspaper update, they always worked perfect.

Hello, after last update i want to report a bug on sticky menu. The MORE button don’t work in the sticky, extending all menu voices in the menu bar. Tested on 2 sites with the same result.
Did a roll back to previous version to fix the problem.
Please do not answer with tutorials about how to use sticky menu, just test it. Thank you.

I’ve undone the update now, but noticed that the icon boxes I had on my homepage of our staging site had an issue with (1) saving the URL within the element; (2) rollover effects were not working on front of site of (the icon boxes only), but were working as expected in Composer.
Noting what you have said, I suspect this is a JavaScript error, maybe caused by a conflict with other plugins I have that was introduced in 12.31.
Do we have a list of files that were updated from 12.3 to 12.31?
Would like to investigate it.

Sorry, totally missed your response.
Here’s what I’m doing.
1 – I’m creating and saving the post via front-end form.
2 – When I edit the post via front-end it displays all the taxonomies that I saved.
3 – When I click to view the post I created, it’s only showing the fields saved as “Text Area” and “Radio buttons”. Taxonomy fields are not being displayed.
4 – If I go to Admin and click “Update” the post is updated. Visiting the post again it now displays the taxonomy fields.

With the 12.3.1 update the Custom Field box has a serious glitch: with the default “auto” width option the box fails to display in full width on the page (it has a width of approximately 300px only in a 1300px wide placeholder). In the previous 12.3 version it worked properly. I have reverted back to 12.3 version, and now it works properly. So the faulty display has been introduced by the 12.3.1 update.
Every update so far including the recent update to Newspaper breaks my header image back to the text (image attached)
I have reuploaded them via Theme Panel and nothing works to get my image back.

No. the issue is only happening only after updating newspaper theme to 12.3 or 12.3.1 with no other config. changed on my site at all.
below 12.3 version of newspaper theme this issue is not coming.
Could you please check if you probably put any code related bug in the recent updates 12.3 onwards???

Thank you for getting back to me! I sent an email to contact@tagdiv.com last night when I made this thread. I provided all of the information required (wp-admin access, license key etc.) but only received a generic response back about speed without anyone actually looking into the website to see if there was any specific issues that can be fixed with the theme. If you could take a look that would be amazing. Thank you so much! I just need to know if the theme is or isn’t going to work for me because right now the site is un-useable with how slow it is being. I put in a lot of effort to create it with newspaper theme so I would love if the issue could be resolved with me keeping the theme. I have done all of the speed optimization strategies that have been suggested but none have worked. Thanks!

I Disable it and Update the page
After Clearing cache its same as previous
i also talked to my hosting provider, they told me that object cache option is already disabled in my account.

Why is the update working so badly, it should have been well tested beforehand!!

I noticed the update that just came out has that option. I’ve not looked into it yet though.
Updated the Newspaper theme to 12.3.1. We are using a paid version of the theme.
We are seeing a banner advertisement for tagDiv in the WordPress Dashboard now, which we would very much like to remove. How may we go about this please?

new: Modal Popup shortcode- option to open modal by modal ID;
but I’m afraid I don’r understand how to use it, i.e. how should I define a “modal” (everything fine for page id and custom content).
