If you want to use these options -> https://www.screencast.com/t/MT3LVFSh these will work only if you do not have the tagDiv Composer activate.
Using custom css, is no need to create two classes, you cna use only one to hide the content on specific device, for example -> https://www.screencast.com/t/vyWBI5xHi and set the css code in Theme panel> Custom code> Advance css on device where you want to hide the content -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6WUT0Hu8y

I have a problem with the last update. When i’m trying to open the images, lightbox doesn’t work. It’s saying: The image #1 could not be loaded.
How can i fix this?
Yep, just discovered 9.7.3 update wiped out all my post templates and reverted theme back to default. I reverted back to 9.7.2.
I don’t use WPBakery, it’s not active. My home page and the general pages ain’t the problem. They appear fine. It’s the posts that are messed up with no images and giant social media icons.
So I’ve got to delete the theme, reinstall an older version and start again from scratch because of an update? Is there no way to simply rollback to the previous update?
All is working, here is my progress:
– updating staging site, (featured) images disappeared. I edited my main page (tagdiv composer and wp bakery together), then updated the page. Staging site was working.
– today, I updated my main site, performed all the required updates, but the (featured) images did work.
All end’s well 😉
https://clearleadernews.com is our website. I was updating theme per instructions found on tagdiv (https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/). I followed instruxtions – deleted existing theme, uploaded .zip file, then uploaded that file. After I tried to update plugins, the entire site vanished.
Hi, updated to the new version of the theme and ever since the default avatar picture I had set for authors without a photo got reverted back to the default gravatar pic. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks in advance.
I noticed I was having problems trying to import some new cloud templates. They would import but couldn’t save – spinning icon forever… I checked all my config/parameters/plugins and still busted.
Logged into Cloudflare and went to firewall rules and I see that the OWASP rule set is blocking these requests.

I’d like to leave these firewall rules engaged. For now, I guess I’m going to whitelist my static IP as being trusted. Is there any way that in the future the tdcomposer/editor could be updated so it won’t trigger these? I imagine as hosting matures and more people implement firewalls/wafs this will only compound.
I recently updated my theme to Newspaper 9. Love the theme HOWEVER… I don’t like how woo-commerce is displaying my items. Is there a way to adjust this? In particular, I’d like to display more than 4 items at a time… and font adjustments would be great as well…

I have installed Yoast SEO Premium and Newsmag Theme on my site. Moreover, I’m using WordPress 5.2.1.
The issue I’m getting by activating both the Yoast SEO Premium and Newsmag theme is, the Page as well as the Post editor section is opening with a white blank screen.
When I rollover to the WordPress Default Twenty Nineteen Theme, I successfully able to access by post editor page.
I also tried to increase the WP Memory Limit and other things but the issue will not resolve at all. I think it is some kind of compatibility issue between these two i.e. Yoast SEO Premium and Newsmag Theme.
Do note that, I have one more site where I have installed Newspaper theme and there I’m not getting the issue I mentioned above. There everything works fine.
Also, One thing I would like to give as an information, this issue appeared when WordPress 5.2.1 update has come.
Note: I’m using the latest updated version of both the theme as well as the plugin.
Hope you guys look after it and resolve it ASAP.

With every update my Pages break. They only contain basic Text and HTML, they are very improtant, because they are my legallly required imprint and DSGVO-page. Even recreating the pages always brings up a 404 page.
The tagDiv Composer always brings up the Error “Error at zones: 5(models) : 4(dom). The model does not match the content”. As i said there is nothing special in it. Does the tag div composer break the ability to just create normale pages?
Since the new theme has been updated automatically, my site has this error.

Is that the latest update to the theme or the tagdiv composer plugin? When I redownloaded the plugin, deactivated and removed the old plugin, reuploaded and then activated the newly downloaded plugin, it still prompted me to update. When I clicked update, it said it was successfully updated but then it still gave me the update prompt.
Any clue what I may be doing wrong?

The child theme is now quite limited, after the recent updates. Because most of the theme files were moved in the composer now they can’t be modified in a child theme anymore. The only way to modify them at the moment would be directly in the plugin.
If we should find a safer and more update proof way to do it, we will present it immediately. But for the time being it can only be done in the plugin directly, which will indeed have to be made again after a theme update.
One of the issues that are caused by the child theme after the latest update (maybe the most important one) is that when it is active, post templates can’t be set properly. Regardless of the post template set, seems that the default post template will be loaded. This and a few other issues are investigated with priority on our end.
Sorry for all this inconvenience. Seems that despite testing more, issues can still happen.

You need to delete the theme with all the plugins and reinstall the theme v9.6.1 via FTP way according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

After the last update, if both the tagDiv composer and WPBakery are active at the same time, some elements will not be available in the tagDiv composer. This was made to prevent issues with the respective elements. The single image is one of them.
A solution is to either deactivate WPBakery and then the elements will be available in the tagDiv composer, or use WPBakery where the elements will be available.
