My site http://www.cyprusnewsreport.com is not displaying correctly and I can’t add the updated version of Newspaper. I am not a developer so need someone from Newspaper to take a closer look at the problem.
I’m actually having the exact same problem I believe. Just responsive theme. It works on desktop with window resized. Pixel XL (original verison) using Chrome it doesn’t pop up. The physical menu doesn’t appear, but the primary site does shrink like it did before.
Note, this did work before. No idea why it stopped — maybe theme update recently?
tulipandhoney.com is the site I have with this issue
Hello i have one problem since the versión 9.6 of newspaper.
Until i update the theme, my adsense ads in mobile work bad.
I have this size in the theme panel (For example the header)
– Desktop = 700*90
– Mobile = 320*50
Buy, in mobile version only show ads 350*350. The theme is not recizing the ads.
Y try in AUTO and happend the same. Desktop working fine, mobile only show 300*300 ads.
You can check it in http://www.marianocabrera.com
I attach and image to show the situation: https://ibb.co/vY32fHy
PD: Another thing. As you can see in the image, the 300*300 is not centered.
Hi,
I make some deep tests and investigations and indeed there is a problem with the icon that is set on button, I note this issue on our list to be fix for the coming update.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello,
Please make sure you also update the tagdiv composer page builder by accessing the plugins section and pressing the update button for it.
Also please disable all non theme plugins as we have seen plugins disable the composer button in the past and it could be the case now.
In order to set the load more is very simple using the tagdiv composer. Simply select the block and activate the setting here: https://www.screencast.com/t/KwEY2sSJBN4
Thank you!
I have just updated AMP and my search console saying “A mandatory “AMP HTML tag is missing from this document is showing error” I am not getting any solution to fix this error. please help!
Hi,
Please check in Theme panel>Analytics/JS Codes maybe you have set there some auto ads -> https://www.screencast.com/t/hoDnWThn1eq
Please provide some more details about the rest of problems you have, and we’ll try to assist you to solve them.
Also you can make an update to the last version of theme, but first please make a full backup to your website.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi Calin,
At this time, I’ve only updated the PHP version and my problem seems to be solved.
Thank you for your help !
Have a nice day.
Hi,
The 500 errors problem in most cases is caused by low wp-memory or old php version.
Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
WP_MEMORY_LIMIT try to increase it at least to 256mb.
Please make update to the last version theme, v9.6.1
Thank you!
Hi,
Since the last few updates I have an issue with wp-load.php file.
On many occasion in the admin I have errors saying :
Warning: array_merge(): Argument #2 is not an array in /wp-includes/load.php on line 66
I have looked in the file, the line 66 is :
$_SERVER = array_merge( $default_server_values, $_SERVER );
My website is https://www.running-addict.fr by the way
Thanks
hi,
i’m facing the same problem, I did update the theme and the plugin but I can’t find the td composer button, I want to modify the ad placement via this page builder !!
if you fix this problem please update your topic
thanks
Hi @Calin,
I’m sorry that I was not clear, it is not a new post issue, the issue that I am having is that when posts are shared on social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) no preview image is displayed. Before contacting you I updated the PHP from version 5.6 to version 7.2 and increased the memory limit. I now have deactivated all but the TagDiv plugins and the issue persists. What should I try next? Thanks for your help.
This seems like it may be a new problem, but when we place an image inside of a single image element the image width and height cannot be changed in the General tab.
You can edit the rest of the tab, but the width and height seems to have a larger font and the font you cannot select the number to change.
We did just update to PHP 7.1, is that still too old? It has been recommended that we go to php 7.3 for security purposes but I’ve resisted that for compatibility reasons.
Kim
I had this problem after updating from v9.1 to v9.6.1, but we also experienced it after editing a page in 9.1 before updating — we’d edited the About page probably ~100 times, and after a routine edit, the page became broken and would no longer load in TD Composer. TagDiv really needs to include better error messaging for this sort of thing. Why are you showing an error message if no one, including your developers, can say for certain what it means or where the problem is?
The problem we had after updating came from our custom child theme code — We updated our child header.php based on the newest header.php in Newspaper but still had the super helpful “Error at zones: 5 (models) : 1 (dom)” message when opening a brand new Page in TD Composer. Turns out the existence of <div class="tdc-content-wrap"> in our custom footer template was enough to break Composer. Oops. Changing that to <div class="td-container td-footer-bottom-full"> fixed the problem and we could edit Pages again.
The About page problem was even more fun to track down. Long story short, my manager had edited a raw HTML section and not closed off a <div> with a matching </div> and saved the page. TD Composer then started throwing the “Error at zones” error and the page was no longer editable. The fix? Take the offending raw HTML string from the text editor, base64_decode() it, rawurldecode() it, fix the markup, rawurlencode() it, base64_encode() it, paste it back in the text editor, and save. Now the page is editable again. Seems like maybe not the greatest system.
After update to 6.5.1 it still looks wrong.
As on screenshot above.
Thank you very much for your appreciation. We try our best to improve the theme, add useful features with each update and help our customers. Your suggestion for a rating option in posts is also noted. Please have a nice day.
You did not answer why the ad is showing in the header when I clearly do not have it in the box on the ad spot in the theme.
I’ve also looked at the 404 error on search console and it is not an issue according to them. It was on March 17 but not since then.
I’m also having issues with the mobile part as well. Too many issues. This has all happened since your last update.
This is way too many issues to have to hunt down and I’m no programmer. that is why I bought this theme because it seemed to be easy to just add what I needed in it. I’ve had more issues than I care to deal with and the support is always a guessing game. I learn more on google search (as you obviously use for your answers).

Hi,
Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to add a registration section everywhere you want on the page. I have added to our list of improvements and we hope to implement it in future updates.
Thank you!
Hi,
I checked your website on mobile, doesn’t look right – http://prntscr.com/nafg9h
The theme already has a viewport meta in the header file – http://prntscr.com/nafgmc
Maybe you removed and forgot about it, that would explain it, as it isn’t there it seems
– http://prntscr.com/nafh47
Try to restore it if possible, not having this meta may have a negative impact for mobile visitors, I can post the code here for convenience
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
Now that you updated wordpress, I should note that using an older theme with the latest wordpress may result in problems.
The theme is officially compatible with wordpress 5 starting with version 9.2
– http://prntscr.com/nafo45 (latest is 9.6.1). A changelog can be seen at the bottom of this page – https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609
Thanks
Hi,
A time ago or last modified format is possible within a cloud post template
– http://prntscr.com/naeul3
For modules there is a modified date setting only – http://prntscr.com/naeuyh and not a time ago, at the moment.
There are various topics that you could try, but note that modifications made to the plugins will be lost after a theme update

Hi,
I think that you do not remove the old theme/plugin
/mydomain.com/html/wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library-old/td-cloud-library.php:26)
In order to work normally the new theme with all plugins, you’ll need to delete the old theme.

Please try to update the theme via FTP and remove/delete the old theme.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
Yes, you can add a different logo on sticky header using the header builder, you need to import a hearer template or build a new one -> https://tagdiv.com/whats-new-in-newspaper-theme-9-5-update/ after you import the header template, set the sticky menu to can work on it, scroll until you see the sticky menu and click on logo -> https://www.screencast.com/t/o6Z8zoJoWbFY
Thank you!
Hi,
I have the same problem for https://www.africargus.com.
When I ran the google mobile friendly test, it seems that some pages (194) are containing errors since March, 27th 2019 :
Clickable elements too close together
Text too small to read
Viewport not set
Before I activated the theme’s mobile plugin, it said that it was unecessary to activate it, because the website was already responsive. However, Google search console was still showing those errors.
When I activated the mobile friendly plugin from Newspaper theme, it only worked on the homepage, not on the rest of the pages.
I thought it was because I didn’t update WordPress to version 5.1.1, (I’m currently using 4.9.8 version), but it seems that those issues are related to the theme in my opinion …
Can you please help me find a solution for my website ?
And how do we insert a meta viewport to take care of these issues ?
If you need more information don’t hesitate
Thanks a lot
Rita

Okay. I activated my AMP. I’m using AMP+Mobile. I currently do not have an amp ad set up as I originally thought that was the issue. But even after removing it, i was getting the script error. I know that AMP ads are different and I was using them properly. They worked fine before the update. Now, they do not.
Does the “mobile ads” need to be in AMP format? Before they were separate.
