Hi,
So you want to control the length of the title. You could use the general excerpt settings for each module type
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/excerpts-introduction/
Or the newly added excerpt options by individual block, in the tagDiv composer
– https://www.screencast.com/t/vnxurDXwiVf
The “…” will be added automatically for both title and post excerpt.
Thanks
Maybe you did not clear the cache after enabling the setting
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/ajax-view-count/
Clear the cache and monitor the situation. The counts should be accurate after enabling the setting and clearing all caching.
Hi,
If the widgets are missing in the Widgets section of WordPress or the tagDiv composer, then the theme might not have updated properly. You could reinstall it by FTP if possible if that is the case
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
If the widgets are missing from the page builder you mention, I cannot say why that happens. That page builder is not tested with our theme, we recommend the usage of tagDiv composer as the main page builder at the moment, or alternatively WPBakery.
Thanks
Hi,
Unfortunately custom post types do not have access to the default post settings and options. The settings will be limited. Maybe more options will be added in future theme updates but I cannot say for sure. The only custom post possibilities are mentioned here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
Now that is unusual, the posts should be displayed in the slider, just like the element is displayed in the live theme demo
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ios-slider/
If the slide is not displaying like that, then something is not functioning properly.
It could be affected by a plugin, please try to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins and clear all caching installed. Check if this has any effect. Also try placing the slide on a new page and check the results. Let us know.
Thanks
You could try that and see if it works. It might require more modifications, I could not say what it will take to do something like this. Unfortunately we do not have a theme modification or customization department to help you with more advanced code modifications. We would recommend the developers form here if you want to do this by code
– https://studio.envato.com/
Or try the CSS method, which would be easier. Remove the image from the theme panel, and set it with CSS as mentioned in the topic. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Salut,
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
Noi recomandam folosirea tagDiv composer totusi. Sunt multe planuri in aceasta privinta in urmatoarele update-uri.
Multumesc!
Hi,
The post must have an author. You as admin can create how many authors you want, then select from them while editing or creating the post
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ryQlA0rvw
So you could create and select the author name you want for the posts you want.
Thanks
That is the code section that affects the category pages
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Rb2FwIn6v
If that code is removed there will be no more background in the category page. Or modify it as you wish. However all the background cases are in that file.
The code for the tag color is located in the other file I mentioned
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Ubp5fUMSrfsu
Maybe use a numbered counter and the CSS tab to create a full circle
– https://www.screencast.com/t/czmfBBRL
Or use a Raw HTMl element and create a circle with text maybe
– https://stackoverflow.com/questions/4861224/how-to-use-css-to-surround-a-number-with-a-circle/4861306#4861306
The progress bar will be only half circle, it may not be easy to modify that. Or maybe you could search for a plugin to display a round widget in which you can use text, if there are such plugins.
Indeed, there are no more errors on the website at the moment. The website is very fast, congratulations.
The image you upload in the per category settings will be displayed as background for the category page.
It will also be used as background for the posts that have that category as primary
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/primary-category/
I believe that you want to set an image as background only for the top section, the category header. This would be a similar topic, or try it any any way you want
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/style-8-header-on-categories/
Hi,
Please update to the latest theme version, the fix for the Instagram issues is part of the update. See the changelog in the themeforest page
– https://www.screencast.com/t/8zL2rNVd4
This is a theme update guide you can follow
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Then all the Instagram related functions should work as before
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ufZ7hsAZZ
After the update be sure to clear the cache if you have any, or CDN if you use it. Clear the browser cache as well or test with different browsers.
Thanks
Hi,
The Adsense ad codes have to be entered in the theme panel ads section, for the locations you want them to appear
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-adsense-overview/
So if your Adsense account is activated and there are no problems, the ads should appear. It could be longer than 24 hr, up to several weeks according to Google
– https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/76228?hl=en
– https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/9724?hl=en
There are a few things you could check if there still are problems with the ads
– https://www.shoutmeloud.com/how-to-get-google-adsense-approval-new-blog.html
– https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/adsense/wuWx-49ZOzU

Thanks
Hi,
For me the socials appeared on every post I tried (I tested with Chrome)
If there are issues sometimes, these are usually caused by plugin conflicts or maybe code modifications or code loaded in the theme files or theme panel.
The conflicts could cause the socials to be invisible despite being loaded in their location. Enter this code in the theme panel custom CSS code section
.td-post-sharing {
opacity: 1!important;
}
This could fix the socials if the issue keeps happening.
Thanks
Hi,
Please make sure you are installing the actual theme zip file, not the whole theme package
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/
The theme file is located inside the full package you download from themeforest
– https://www.screencast.com/t/YAstK6bLp
These are the installation guides you can follow
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Thanks
It could be a specific MAC issue specific to that operating system. We will remake some tests with our MAC as soon as possible and see if everything is alright. Last time we checked there were no issues with the composer.
Hi,
That is usually caused by insufficient resources, please check the theme panel system status section
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If needed ask your hosting provider to increase all the parameters mentioned in that guide as specified. Then check if there is still a problem.
In other cases the admin ajax used by the theme could be blocked by a server firewall or security function, more in this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cant-save-theme-options-2/
Thanks
Hi,
Try in a different browser and see if it is the same. You could also contact your hosting provider and mention this to them, they might be able to fix this for you or at least provide some suggestions from looking at the error logs if there are any errors there.
What you could try before that, would be to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins (including cache plugins or cache service). See if this has any effect in the matter.
Thanks
Hi,
Maybe I am misunderstanding this, but if you do not want a background image for that category page, remove it. The code that does this would be in this file however
– https://www.screencast.com/t/H2GM1ivW
Also for the category tags color in the post page
– https://www.screencast.com/t/CMArXO3jMR3z
Thanks
Hi,
That link is defined in that file you mention, so you could begin there. The modal window that opens once the login is clicked is in this file
– https://www.screencast.com/t/4vulJXMHD
On mobile different files are used, there will be a sign in and a different join button
– https://www.screencast.com/t/oIeMx5p5p
Maybe this is useful to you if you want to make this modification to the desktop login.
Thanks
Hi,
When testing a post from your website with the Facebook debugger it seems no meta tags are found in the page
– https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/
If I test a post from the theme live demo the necessary tags are displayed
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Also it seems that if you click further down the debugger page, on the “See exactly what our scraper sees for your URL” Facebook does not see any ofthe meta tags in the post page source. I could not say why that is happening, maybe there is some useful information online in the matter.
Thanks
Hi,
So maybe something like dropcaps for example
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/dropcaps/
– https://www.screencast.com/t/iiy4lFz8lOf
If that is not it, maybe it could be done with CSS for an existing element on a page or post. If you could mention more about this I will try to point you in the right direction. Custom CSS code can be created with the help of the browser inspector, then entered in the theme panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
Thanks
Hi,
As long as the option is enabled in the theme panel, and the post views are active, there would be no problem. I activated the option in the theme panel, then configured a block with the 7 days popular sorting
– https://www.screencast.com/t/G8XpeV4iHbE
Now, as posts gather views they will be displayed in the block (according to your category filter)
– https://www.screencast.com/t/dxaKB5JDR81G
An important note which is also mentioned in the guide would be that this form of sorting will not work with any caching
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/7-days-post-sorting/
Thanks
If the Pinterest id/board name is valid the board should eventually appear. Once clicked the images should lead to the pin page, while clicking on the ID will direct to the profile page of the user. That would be how it is supposed to work.
You could try a plugin provided Pinterest widget, maybe that would be easier to configure and have more advanced settings, if the one from the composer is not working properly for you.
