Check any custom code you might have in the theme panel related to this, or in a child theme. I have just tested the background ad in the version 8 and it is working properly. So it must be something in your case that is interfering with this function.

That could be the case. If you are using the mobile theme plugin, try to deactivate it and test again. The same content from desktop should be displayed on mobile devices.

@awoodhams Not all files can be edited through the default editor. You can use FTP and locate the needed file in the theme folder. Then make the changes as shown in the screenshot.

@Vinay This will work for the author avatar, author name and the author website. It will not affect links you enter in the description box. I believe WordPress will strip this link property, even if you try adding it directly in the description field.

The theme uses it’s own font for images and other icons through the website

If you made modifications in this matter, these icons will not display properly anymore. You can try to revert what modifications you made to the theme Css file and and others, then see if this fixes the issue. Use the Css file from your theme package, and replace the stylesheet that you modified.

A recommended image size for the background would be a FullHd image. You could try and use a bigger image size for the background, it could be that the height is not sufficient. For example the theme demo uses an image like this as background

Due to an oversight, it seems that tagDiv composer was not included in the list of permitted plugins. This will disable the Speedbooster. We will make the necessary modifications in the next theme update so it will not be inactive when the tagDiv editor is detected.

You could try a custom permalink plugin, that may have the option to modify the URL. That would probably be the easiest way to achieve this. I could not say if this will work, or if there are any implications for modifying the permalinks.

There is nothing to worry about. You can activate the theme on the staging environment, and on the live website. The standard Envato license specifies you can use the theme on a single end product at a time. So you can activate the theme as long as it’s a testing site and not an end product

Maybe the mentioned resources cannot be moved. The Speedbooster is meant to work only with an allowed set of plugins, it may not work properly with all the plugins. If you have tried following the guide without success, it could be the case that those cannot be moved.
