Hi,
I see that the Visual composer is loading on the page. However you can try to download the latest theme package and install the latest version of the editor and see if it works properly
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Or if you decide to update the theme as well here is a guide to help you
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thanks
Hi,
Please use this caching plugin with the recommenced configuration for best results, other caching plugins may not work properly with the theme and cause unexpected results
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Try and install it and see if the problem you are having is present.
Thanks
Hi,
It seems to load very poorly indeed. The caching plugin is recommend to be used with these settings
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
And this Cloudflare configuration
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
If you say the server configuration is more than enough
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Then there should be no problems of this kind. Something is causing this slow loading speed. We have not had any bad reports about this, it must be something on your configuration.
Thanks
Hi,
This is an unusual problem. A theme re-install should fix this problem you are having. Try downloading the theme package again and use it to install the theme by FTP. Deactivate any child theme you might have, to rule this out. The mentioned option should display in the theme panel. If you have already tried this with no result, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information so we can inspect the issue. Also paste a link to this topic.
Thanks
Hi,
Please check in Theme panel->Ads and remove the code if present from the header ad section. Also the code could be inserted by a plugin, please try and disable them all except the ones provided in the theme package, clear any caching installed and check again.
Thanks
Hi,
I have inspected your website, and I see that you have RTL installed. The theme does not support RTL direction at the moment, some elements will not work properly and problems like this will happen. If you want to customize the theme so it may work and display without problems in this situation, you will have to make changes to multiple elements and classes. The problem that happens with the menu is a direct result of RTL. Please try the code provided below and see if this works for you – https://www.screencast.com/t/11MiKvhTVbjJ
It must be entered in Theme panel->Custom Css section
#td-mobile-nav {
position: fixed;
}
Thanks
Hi,
That is not a problem to fix. It just means that you do not have the necessary thumb size enabled in the theme panel. Some thumb sizes might be disabled by default. Please go to Theme panel->Block settings and enable all the thumbs, or just the ones you need – https://www.screencast.com/t/FrdNzphMUjq
More information about the theme thumbnails here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
Thanks
Hi,
Thank you for posting this solution. This way other users that have this issue, can try it and hopefully it will work for them as well. It is always best if users would share their findings and solutions for others to try.
Thanks
Hi,
I don’t know what more I could say. The options provided by the Yoast SEO plugin should in theory remove the sub-pages from the search results. Maybe this takes more time to reflect in real time. After all it is up to Google to decide what the search results display. These are all the settings from Yoast regarding indexing URL’s
– https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-do-i-noindex-urls/
You can try as mentioned to manually remove those URL’s from the search results.
Or you could create a new topic on the google support forum, maybe someone will have better advice in this matter
– https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/webmasters
Thanks
Hi,
I have found a similar topic with the problem that you are describing
– http://stackoverflow.com/questions/41550989/wordpress-loading-wrong-language-for-facebook-sdk
Maybe you can try the code provided and see if it fixes the issue.
Thanks
Hi,
The issue with the Facebook token was fixed in the latest update. Please download the latest theme package, remove the social counter that you are currently using, and install the one from the package. Then clear any caching installed, and the browser cache. Example for chrome
– https://www.screencast.com/t/f9Q66lPx1fY
After doing this, try and configure the social counter again using the guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
It should work properly now.
Thanks
Hi,
Thank you for the suggestions regarding possible improvements of the review system. Maybe in future updates these features will be available by default, we will just have to wait and see. I could not say for sure when or if this will happen, because the list of suggestions is forever increasing and the developers have to decide what gets implemented as soon as possible, or gets postponed. If you want you could use a review plugin that has additional options for the reviews and works properly with the theme.
Thanks
Hi,
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, this does not have the option to set a different font. This was meant to keep the mobile theme as light as possible, by loading predefined fonts. When the mobile theme is not activated the same font from desktop will be displayed.
However there is a solution provided in this topic if you would like to try it
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/font-on-mobile-version/
Maybe additional options will be available in future theme updates, but I could not say for sure when this will happen.
Thanks
Hi,
I cannot seem to be able to successfully access your website in order to inspect the issue. I am being redirected to this landing page – https://www.screencast.com/t/rejhqKAnheI
Thanks
Hi,
That would require multiple modifications to the theme files. Here you can find these fields being defined in the theme – https://www.screencast.com/t/GQXuyeSOCzS
Maybe this topic can be of further help to you
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/remove-related-posts-and-keep-more-from-author/
Maybe additional options can be available regarding this section in future updates, but I could not say for sure when this will happen. Another option would be to disable the Related articles feature, and use a shortcode containing a block set to display the posts you want. Something like this for example
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/related-articles-4/
Thanks
Hi,
@nuvoledibellezza You just need to insert the images in the post content in full size, then they will be displayed accordingly. From what I can tell the images you are using are too small when displayed
– https://www.screencast.com/t/N2kF6P7z4Y
These images should have a minimum width of 1068px as explained by Bogdan and I see that you have selected the full size when inserting them but the result is not as intended.
Maybe the content is served from a cache you might have installed and you just need to clear it to refresh the content. Also a plugin could be interfering with the images. You could try as a test to disable all your plugins except the ones provided in the theme package, clear any caching installed and check to see if the images display as they should in this case, in full. Please let us know how it goes.
Thanks
Hi,
You can choose any of the available header styles
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
For example Header style 12 seems to be similar to the one you mention
– https://www.screencast.com/t/SiP7QUBY7
You can customize the font properties and color for the header, in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/yAgbPx1FQe
– https://www.screencast.com/t/RiHvWpn6aY
Additionally you could use the browser inspector and identify the classes used in order to create custom code to further modify the header. Here is a guide to help you create code to use in the theme custom code section in the theme panel – https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
Thanks
Hi,
If you have the mobile theme plugin activated then there will be no changes visible when you modify the respective files. The mobile theme uses it’s own files regarding the logo. Unfortunately the mobile theme does not have support for the child theme. Any modifications will have to be made directly to the file
– https://www.screencast.com/t/VBLey0yff1L6
If you want to modify the file you mention, please deactivate the mobile theme and the changes made to it through the child theme, will be visible.
Thanks
Hi,
The theme uses one stylesheet file, that is found in the main theme folder
– https://www.screencast.com/t/fJmavb34
If you want to edit it or modify it you can do so there. Just be sure to make a backup in case something goes wrong. Alternatively you could use a minification tool to reduce the size of the theme’s stylesheet.
Thanks
Hi,
I have inspected your website but you do not seem to have the Newspaper theme installed at the moment, so we can see the issue you are having. Maybe the link you provided is wrong, I cannot resolve the issue since I do not see it. If you are having the problem you describe, try testing while having all your plugins deactivated except the ones that are provided in the theme package.
Thanks
Hi,
If you are talking about the menu items, those can be edited in Appearance->Menus
– https://www.screencast.com/t/g6NxhVB4W1d9
There you can easily modify the menu items as you like, from the desired menu on your website. You can find more information about the menus here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/main-menu/
And also how to create different kinds of menus here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/
You can edit the page by opening it in Visual composer and there you can see the elements that are contained in the page – https://www.screencast.com/t/u8naZIvqbh
About the video you are mentioning I don’t seem to find a video on our website. If you could point it out, I may be able to help you.
Thanks
Hi,
If you have tried configuring the social counter using the latest version provided in the theme package, and the suggestions with no favorable result, please leave the social counter configured with your data and send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com so we can take a look. Provide admin login information and also paste a link to this topic to identify you.
Thanks
Hi,
You just need to set a primary category for the post – https://www.screencast.com/t/2jK1BVpj2v
Then the post and all the posts that have this category as primary will inherit the sidebar from that category.
For example I set for a post the category Travel as primary
– https://www.screencast.com/t/w1KJCDTiF
Then by going to the per category settings in the theme panel, I select the sidebar for the Travel category
– https://www.screencast.com/t/kVrMm56McYF
– https://www.screencast.com/t/YAKVR6WRnBiV
This allows greater control over the sidebar displayed on the posts, and easily to set and modify the sidebar content, not having to edit each sidebar.
If a primary category is not set the theme will pick the first one alphabetically from the categories of the post – https://www.screencast.com/t/HCcBew4qa
Thanks
Hi,
I have inspected your website and the images you mention, but I do not see this blur problem. The theme will not stretch the images you use in the post, they will be displayed as they are, and the featured image based on the post template used. The post content width is 696px, if a image is smaller it will be displayed as it is.
If you want the images to be of maximum width and aligned with the post content just select the full size when adding them to the post – https://www.screencast.com/t/tkeqhAtt4yGK
The theme will create all the thumb sizes needed from the full size image you insert in the post. Please correct me if I misunderstand.
Thanks
Hi,
If you want to display your custom post type on the block, you must enter it’s name in the required field. The sort the posts as you want. Example for a custom post type

You can find more information about the available block settings and options here
