Hi,
You can see the page structure and the elements that are contained, by opening your page in the Visual composer editor – https://www.screencast.com/t/H1psqxKFJ0QD
There you can make changes like adding, editing or removing page building elements. Here you can find all the available settings and options for blocks – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
If you mean the ad box you can remove it from there.
Thanks
Hi,
Each demo has it’s own style that is custom made for it. However it is entirely possible to recreate it.
The homepage is a a page created in Visual composer with the following elements that you mention
The Must read section is block 5 on a full row
– https://www.screencast.com/t/kXGPxTa3
The Fashion section is block 11 on 2 columns
– https://www.screencast.com/t/OXy1v5Yki8HQ
The Latest articles is block 9 on 2 columns
– https://www.screencast.com/t/42gPr5neIZRm
All the font properties for these elements can be modified as well, in the theme panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
You can see all the available blocks in different layouts here
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
You can use the browser inspector tool to identify the elements used on the page. Here is a guide to help you
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
Thanks
Hi,
If you want to change these colors – https://www.screencast.com/t/II2NTobm you could do it directly in the demo stylesheet – https://www.screencast.com/t/8xTMAWqH
Or use some Css code to change it – https://www.screencast.com/t/SUbh4IhJKIh
The demo is custom made and some options are predefined and cannot be changed through the theme panel. You can use Css to change theme when possible, or like I mentioned make the changes directly to the demo stylesheet.
This is the code I used if you want to add it
.td-magazine .td-header-style-1 .td-header-top-menu-full {
border-top-color: yellow;
}
.td-magazine .td-header-style-1 .td-header-gradient::before {
background-color: yellow;
}
Thanks
Hi,
I only see this pagination problem on the post you mentioned. I am not able to recreate this on my side. Please provide more details about what exactly is this AMP and how did you create it. Also what do you mean by manual paging turning on or off. Maybe I am not understanding this properly.
You could try a new theme install and see if the problem is still there
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Thanks
Hi,
I did that but I did not save the file, everything works now however. I have inspected the website, and I have seen the problem. The menu on mobile is created and has elements that are directly dependent on a particular side. Probably these need to be reversed in order to work in this situation. Setting a different position value for the menu seems to fix this problem – https://www.screencast.com/t/4jVHpDso0Nv
Maybe you will need to make other modifications, like the menu and search icons that need positioning. I do not know exactly how they should be in this style.
Try entering this code for the menu in Theme panel->Custom Css and see if this works for you
#td-mobile-nav {
position: fixed;
}
Thanks
Hi,
Please try this code, it will hide the elements that you mention on this particular post type
– https://www.screencast.com/t/HuhHbQdciMhb
Let me know if this not what you wanted or the code is not working properly for you. The code must be entered in Theme panel->Custom Css
.new-template .td-post-sharing,
.new-template .author-box-wrap,
.new-template .td-post-next-prev-content,
.new-template .td-category,
.new-template .entry-crumbs {
display: none;
}
Thanks
Hi,
You can create the layout you want using the available elements from Visual composer. Here you can see all the available blocks and big grids that you can be used
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-1/
With these and many more you can create unique designs for your website. Please also take a look at the theme demo’s which demonstrate the capabilities of the theme and what can be achieved through it
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/demos_introduction/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
Thanks
Hi,
Different header styles can display the header ad in full size. For example header style 4
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2WQKFTddW
You can test the ad size you want to use with different header styles and find the one that you think it is best. For this you must use a previously created image, the options in the theme panel are available for Adsense ads.
Thanks
Hi,
The Visual composer editor is an important part of the theme, with it you can create unique page design using the featured blocks, grids and other elements. This editor is one of the key advantages of the theme providing many customization possibilities. If you choose not to use it this will limit capabilities in this regard. You can use the theme without Visual composer, but with limited customization options.
Thanks
Hi,
The grid that is displayed on mobile when using the mobile theme is predefined and will pick posts from the featured category. It is not the same grid from desktop, and does not use the same filtering. Please make sure the posts you are creating and publishing are also assigned the featured category
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
If you want the same content from desktop to display on mobile you must deactivate the mobile theme plugin. You could set the featured category for more posts at once if you want them to display in the grid on mobile
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Y96SxkGBy
More information about the mobile theme, the available options and how it works here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks
Hi,
You can try this code, it should make the ad stay to the right in the header
– https://www.screencast.com/t/xw6xSX8p9rKW
.td-header-style-1
.td-header-sp-recs {
float: right;
}
Thanks
Hi,
I don’t seem to be able to connect to your website. I have tried the IP address you provided but with no success, if it is a local install I cannot view your website. I do not know how I could help you in this situation. Maybe I can inspect it when the website will be live, so I could access it. You could deactivate the mobile plugin if this is happening when it is active. Or install it and see if the issue is happening when it is active.
Thanks
Hi,
You can find the author Id for example by hovering the respective user in the users screen
– https://www.screencast.com/t/PO9yTF8T9zh
Then you need to enter that Id in the required field in the Author box element
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ZPXAB7hKX
The author box can be further customized with the available options. You can find more ways to identify the user Id in this guide
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-find-post-category-tag-comments-or-user-id-in-wordpress/
Thanks
Hi,
It would not be easy to change the thumbnail size for the module and would require changes made to multiple theme elements. If you were to do it, this will modify the thumbnail size for the module everywhere it is used. Something like this can create unexpected problems because the predefined blocks are specially designed and tested with the current values.
For the category pages you can choose from the available modules
– https://www.screencast.com/t/TTHhtUkpykzp
The category pages are not available for editing at the moment, all the modifications will have to be made through the theme panel. The theme will not display more modules if the thumbnail size is smaller, and there cannot be 4 or 5 columns in the category pages.
Thanks
Hi,
You can choose from the update possibilities and methods mentioned in this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thanks
Hi,
You could stretch the header logo and ad space using this theme option to accommodate a bigger logo size
– https://www.screencast.com/t/OqJi4DMOpmJ
I could give you a code also to make the logo aligned by the left side, if that may be of help
– https://www.screencast.com/t/s2ARz0j3eVhb
.td-header-style-1 .td-header-sp-logo,
.td-header-style-1 .td-header-sp-logo img {
margin-left: 0;
}
Thanks
Hi,
From what I understand you would like to purchase the content featured in the live demo. If that is the case, unfortunately this is not possible because this content is used based on a licence agreement defined specially for the demo purposes. That is why the dummy content that is included in the demo install is different than the content present on the live demo.
You can use search for or create your own content and use it for your website. I am sure that you will find everything you want, and achieve a result maybe even better than the demo.
Thanks
Hi,
Yes unfortunately this issue was not addressed yet, hopefully the problem with the header will get fixed soon. Probably in the next theme update. We are very sorry for any inconvenience created by this situation.
Thank you for understanding!
Hi,
It seems that something is not working properly with the pagination. I suggest you disable all your plugins except the ones provided with the theme, clear any caching installed and check again to see if the problem is still there. It is recommended to use the WP Super Cache plugin with these settings
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Other caching plugins may cause problems with the theme, like the Total Cache you are using at the moment.
Thanks
Hi,
The theme has no option to create a popup for the website. You can try and search for plugins that can be used in this case, or test the one that you mention to see if it is what you are looking for. I cannot make any plugin recommendations, but maybe other users can provide some useful information about their implementation of a popup system, or plugin suggestions.
Thanks
Hi,
I am assuming you want to have a full sized logo for your website. If that is the case you can select one of Header styles 9, 10 or 11 because these header styles do not have a size limit for the logo image
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
Using one of these header styles you can set any logo size you want. An example would be this theme demo that uses Header style 10 – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_cars/
Thanks
Hi,
You could hide these elements for that specific post type. This can be done by using the unique class that is added based on the name of your custom post type, that you have created. Example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ibXlQLEJ7QY
Then you can create custom code to hide them from that post type, or even by post Id. If you can provide a link to one of your custom post type posts, I will try to give you a solution.
Thanks
Hi,
You can display pages instead of posts in the Big grid or a block like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/gZyQJycs
In addition you can enter specific page Id’s to display
– https://www.screencast.com/t/jrSE3tmOdQ
Thanks
Hi,
It seems there is a text that is displaying on the top of your page. I suggest you look in the header.php file in the theme folder between the head tags, and see if this text is present there. If it is not, try to think what changes you may have made or maybe what plugins have you installed before this occurred. Also take a look at any code entered in the custom code sections from the theme panel, or added to the theme files directly.
Thanks
Hi,
That sounds like a cache issue, try disabling the caching plugin or system that you have installed and check if the problem remains. Also take a look in the theme panel at the theme system status. Check and make modifications if needed to the parameters mentioned in this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thanks
