I need a little help with something…
On the top of Posts in a specific Category, next to the Author and Date, I’d like to add a snippet of grey linkable text (that doesn’t change color when hovered over).
I need a little piece of Custom CSS that I can use that will reference a specific post category and have a spot for custom text.
Basically, I’m wanting to add something like “- sponsored post -” in a light grey color. If it’s linkable, I’ll probably link the text to the site’s policy page for sponsored content.
So for example Posts in a Category called say “Sponsored Content” will have this little “- Sponsored Post -” disclaimer, and readers can click it to learn more.
It should be non-invasive, so appearing next to the Date and being grey and not changing color when hovered over seem ideal.
Also, our site was built from the Sound Radar demo template.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Wondering if it is possible to change the structure of the main permalink category page. For example, I have the structyre set to: /%category%/%year%/%postname%/
and so that all of the posts appear like this: http://bettorsworld.wpengine.com/nfl/2019/super-bowl-53-pick/
However on the main category page (where the list of all of the posts are) it shows like this:
http://bettorsworld.wpengine.com/category/nfl/ and I was hoping that I could remove the word “category”.
Is this possible? I know I had it working in a different theme like this and so I wasn’t sure if this was a setting somewhere?

Thanks for the response. Yes, setting up the CDN is very simple, and it’s working across the board with the exception of the srcset images instances, which, correct me if I’m wrong, is something that’s built into the Newspaper theme functionality. We even attempted to write a rule that would force these /relative URL instances to use the CDN path, but that doesn’t work.
Here’s the rule that was written:

Is there something in the theme functionality that’s forcing these /relative URL instances to reference the thecampingpage.com/thecampingpage/wp-content/ as opposed to the full CDN path?

So you want to use the revolution slider as an widget. I tried it as well, same as you I believe.
I entered the shortcode of the slider in the text with title widget

Is that the same slider as in the other pages? Where it works I see it uses images from your media library, for example – http://prntscr.com/najo13

Also it has a display none it seems – http://prntscr.com/najwzy
Try a different slider in the homepage as a test, or try using this one in other pages to see if it works.

The article inline ad functionality is great. I’ve got it set up to display an ad after paragraph 3. However, I’d like to display multiple inline ads per article. For example, after paragraphs 3, 10, 15, and 20.
Is there a way to do this?

If they are actually different rows, then selecting each one of theme should work. Multiple rows have to be added manually – http://prntscr.com/nahmad (with a few exceptions).
So for example if you start with a single row and keep adding elements in it, there will still be only one row to work with.
I have logged in and tried in the same draft to stretch a row, with and without padding

It seems Macbook Air’s trackpad does not default to 3finger drag option. You need to go into Apple preferences-> Trackpad -> enable three finger drag.
For other newbies – Things that I have come across so far: – localhost; Error 5000/can’t connect:
My old MAMP only had php version up to 5.1 so had to install new MAMP with php 7.XX
And had to change port number from 8888 to 80
Okay. I will do my as that way, it now that AMP is activated, the AMP version of my site is broken. All the social icons show up as just hyper links and the footer is all hyperlinks. And there is no menu showing up either.

I want to congratulate you on the latest news in Newspaper.
The new AMP design incorporated to the mobile plugin is perfect, a great design and the option to have menu and other advantages.
The composer’s options are getting wider and better, I love it. Adding headers has also been an excellent option, great, fantastic.
In the last few months I have tried many well-known premium themes (templates), I have tested them and I can say that Newspaper is still, in my opinion, the better.
A great theme (template) with an excellent support team.

PD. I always make a suggestion, in this case, if possible, I would like to suggest that you add a rating option for readers. The possibility (optional) to put stars at the end or beginning of a post, and that the reader can vote with one, two, three, four or five stars (something similar to what the plugin does (WP-PostRatings / kk Star Ratings).
You could do something like this. For example enter the 3 column code in the desktop and tablets fields in the advanced CSS section

If you have AdSense, you need to add the Ads only through the Mobile Ads and them should not be in AMP format, because the theme automatically converts them when the AMP mode is enabled. Also, if you have some AMP Auto Ads, all of these sohuld have to be added through AMP ADS section.

It is possible with some CSS. Or if in those pages you use a different header. Using a different header in specific pages or cloud templates is now possible, since the introduction of the cloud header templates and builder.
So while editing the pages you can select a header – http://prntscr.com/naeg7l this will apply only on that page.
With CSS a code like this should work

Use the IDs of the pages where you want to remove the top bar. The IDs can be seen in multiple places, for example by hovering the page name in the pages screen

That is what the mobile editor is for, to create the mobile version of pages. It’s capabilities are simple, the composer cannot be used to create mobile pages.
So the desktop page can be created in any way possible in the theme, while the mobile page is restricted to be built with the mobile editor.
The mobile theme will work with AMP, they both have to be activated as mentioned in the guide from above. The “About” page mobile version can be created with the mobile editor, it is a normal page after all.

Check it with a mobile to see how it looks and works, the AMP version will look mostly the same.

I have searched the forums to find an answer to the below, but cannot find.
When I click a row and choose to stretch it with content and padding, it stays in the execution mode- faded to grey- for an extremely long time. It doesn’t actually revert back to normal and I find myself closing that tab and trying again.
Every other change for the row works straight away.
Also, now I have noticed that I cannot highlight specific rows on their own. It looks like all rows have been connected somehow, even when there are other elements in between each row. For example when I want to click on the third row, then that row should only highlight, but instead all rows highlight. Therefore I cannot make different changes to different rows on their own.

Okay. I activated my AMP. I’m using AMP+Mobile. I currently do not have an amp ad set up as I originally thought that was the issue. But even after removing it, i was getting the script error. I know that AMP ads are different and I was using them properly. They worked fine before the update. Now, they do not.
Does the “mobile ads” need to be in AMP format? Before they were separate.
I tried to link to a page on my WordPress Newspaper site from within LinkedIn and the preview feature will not work.

the permalinks were already set on Post name, but I did it again.
I checked the setting from Yoast SEO for URL and meta.
I removed the mobile plugin and the amp plugin and then I install them again.
I even re-installed all the theme.
…nothing is working.

It only appears to show when there is a background advertisement:
For some reason, I can’t disable mobile theme even though I have disabled all the mobile and AMP plugins.
Here is a sample of link http://bit.ly/DHdcm419 that should open to an event page without light blue mobile theme set by AMP plugin.
Only an issue when accessing page via iPhone only seems to be an issue when clicking on bit.ly via mobile.
Let me know if more info is needed.

I have a rtl language installed on my WordPress account, I’ve selected Mobile Theme> use mobile theme for> AMP
‘Cause I don’t want to write a double content for my computer and mobile.
But when I choose just AMP it seems like there are 2 pages on my website, one contains the content and when I swipe to left the second one shows a balnk page.
Maybe it only will be fixed with css code.
