Yes, it is possible. You can split the row in 2 columns and change the border from the CSS tab. Make sure it is not a header style of block. We have some settings for the rows and different stretch sizes: https://www.screencast.com/t/bsbB5P97A
If you need a different image in every article, then I suggest changing the featured image width.

When I change the filter on the Flex Block to post the latest item from a particular category, it shows “no posts” even though there are posts with that category. Am I missing something?
I changed the template setting in theme pannel from module 1 to module 2 for categories and home page but it is not working, but when I change block settings for search page it shows of instantly. i also disabled cache plugin.
A few updates ago it was possible to make the first letter of a message/paragraph bigger/bolder and highlighted in the block menu on the right. Is this option gone now? Because I can no longer use the function and do not see it anymore.
I am looking for a way to add a link to an anchor on the 2nd page. Not just the page. But a Title Block on 2nd page.

From what I can see on your website the thumbs are no longer enabled from the theme panel, that is all – https://i.imgur.com/NkHrvoo.png, please go to theme panel > block settings. thumbs and modules/blocks – https://i.imgur.com/qenXwp1.png there enable the thumbs you see on your website that are used.

A few weeks ago, my website (www.thecolonymagazine.com), suddenly lost all of the thumbnail images from it. My host is GoDaddy. They’ve hosted my site for 5 yrs and never a problem until now. I’m running PHP version 7.4.30 and Newsmag version 5.2.
This is the text that appears as a place-holder for the images on my homepage: “Enable thumb from theme panel-Block settings”. I tried enabling them but it didn’t work. I had also tried using a Thumbnail Regenerator plug-in (like you suggested to other users with this problem, and it didn’t work.)
With my research on this, I ran across a similar problem that people with the NEWSPAPER theme were having, and I found this solution that was posted by tagDiv:
VERY IMPORTANT! The regeneration process requires the installation of GD library for .php on the server for image processing. Please make sure that you have it installed and enabled on your server before regenerating thumbnails.
Would this also apply to the NEWSMAG theme as well? If so, please tell me where I can find instructions on how to install the GD library, and perhaps a different thumbnail regenerator plug-in, other than the one created by Alex Mills. ( he has died, and there hasn’t been support for 2 years for the plug-in).
Also, can you instruct me how to increase the PHP memory limit.

I’m using the latest WP & Newspaper version. On one of our live posts, I’m not seeing Download button anymore which was there before the previous version upgrade.
Now even in any new test post, when I add image file using File block it shows link of the file as expected but just a “Download” link next to it (instead of a button). Note that the “Show download button” toggle switch in the Block tab is set to active.
Functionality wise, it works and download the file but a button is far better than just text link for CTA.
Any idea/suggestions on how to fix this?

I have NOT being infected again, but I can see the same IPS (that I blocked, you can see here and in the other post related with this issue) are trying to repeatedly. My advise is to block them. Both are from OVH SAS hosting, famous for a lot of spam and hacking (I thought to block the entire ip range from this hosting, but finally I didn’t. Anyway I have to say that I have blocked dozens of them).
So, I will ask your developers to find a “more secure” solution to this malware than not to allow writing an “eval string” in theme panel. Think about it, cause it’s a real problem…
Also, If i were you (I mean newspaper support) I will ask to OVH SAS abuse department to look into this ips ranges. If they receive a mail or a call from an important theme developer like you, they will look into the problem with more emphasis than if they receive a mail from a “normal web admin”. Think about it too.

If you want to display the line on all deceive all you need to do is to set this custom css in Theme panel > Custom code> Custom css

But please notice that the button for share for the line is showing only on mobile devices because was made only for mobile deceive, in order to work on desktops your visitor needs to have an app installed on their desktops.

I recommend you to use the Single Post Template from tagDiv Cloud Library and there you can edit the template with tagDiv Composer.
