Hi
Please check this guide regarding purging cdn: https://www.nginx.com/blog/9-tips-for-improving-wordpress-performance-with-nginx/ Also try to deactivate all plugins except visual composer, empty all caches again then test again. If the problem persist please provide the css code that you’re using so I can inspect it closer. I’ve also test test this on your site and the css for for excerpts works fine: http://screencast.com/t/v9DTOB56pUA
.td_module_10 .td-excerpt {
color: red;
}
Thanks!
Hello,
Please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear your cache and purge cdn files if you use it. If it’s not a plugin conflict, please try to use a default footer to see if the error is still there. maybe some of the widgets in the footer were not added properly.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
@ bayu
How did you set up the Nginx and php5-fpm, did you install any other stuff like Varnish or Memcached?
Thanks
I think we chose to use opcache/APC + mod_pagespeed here …
but Varnish has been around quite awhile — lots of folks use it with NGINX server setups, especially. We’re Apache-centric here (at my company) so we’re kind of using the stuff built into Apache, CentOS, Plesk, where possible.
Waiting on HTTP/2 support to get one dot newer with Apache, as this replaces SPDY and some other stuff and is the cat’s total meow! 🙂
Hi guys
The mobile problem with the template 8 still exists – yet I now do not use the plugin that caused the original issue (Estatik) could you re-check for any other conflicts love the template 🙂
I cleared cache between attempts and restarted browsers etc. Will try on a different mobile browser to Safari too. On iOS 9.1
Thanks
Pat
Hi I have already empty cache using WP Super Cache plugin, but i am not sure how to purge CDN files.
The same mistakes are showed in the homepage.
Thanks
Hi,
Please make sure you also empty all caches and purge cdn files then test this again.
Let us know how it goes!
Thanks
Hello,
Please try to disable all your plugins, clear your cache and purge CDN if you use it. If the problem is still there another thing you can try is check the system status parameters and try to get the in the ‘green’ zone: http://screencast.com/t/bpnfaltKJ You can use this tutorial to do it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
If everything else fails you can do an update to the latest version (6.6) and make sure you make a back-up first:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Thank you!
Hi,
Please disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and see if the problem persist.
If you still have this issue please create a test page and send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin access so we can take a closer look at this as I’m not really sure what settings you use. Also paste a link to this topic so we can know who you are.
Thanks!

Hi Potpotsie,
Please try to disable all the active plugins except Visual Composer, clear all your caches, purge your CDN files if you use and try it again. Notice, please install only the plugins which comes bundle with our theme. Also, if you are using a natural small images, you can use a plugin to upscale, like Upscale Thumbnails plugin. Please try these suggestions and if after this the problem is still there, let us know.
Hope this helps!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi jerocarson,
Please try to clear all your caches and check it if the issue persist. If the problem is still there, please provide your URL website for take a look. I need this so I can inspect it and I can be able to provide a more accurate response.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you!
Yes, I “fixed” it by using an alternate post layout as described above. The “default” post layout still shows this error. All caches cleared of course.

Buna,
Se pare ca nu functioneaza counterul de view-uri. Va rog sa dezactivati toate pluginurile exceptand Visual Composer, sa dati clear la cache si sa verificati daca da-ti refresh de cateva ori un articol sa vedeti daca problema persista.
Counterul de view-uri puteti sa-l ascundet folosind custom css in Theme Panel > Custom css – http://screencast.com/t/aELQUaJGk1R
header .td-post-views {
display: none;
}
Sau din cod daca doriti, doar comentati aceasta linie pentru fiecare template de post – http://screencast.com/t/cSfGxWk3d7x
Mersi!
Hi dezertproxy,
I’ve checked your site and I saw your huge image. This behavior is not controlled by our theme…maybe is a plugin which stretched this. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all your caches and install only the plugins which come bundle with our theme and after this, try it again. If the problem is still there, please let us know.
Hope this helps!
Than you for message!
Hi,
I have checked your site and did not found any issues with the footer container – http://screencast.com/t/72hIDToxK9r Did you solved this? Please clear cache and also the browser’s cache – https://kb.iu.edu/d/ahic
Thanks!
Hi,
The theme is tested and it should work from version 8 of Internet Explorer browser and it should work properly. Please check this without any plugins active except of Visual Composer, clear cache and see if you still have issues. Also you can check our demo and see if it looks the same – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Thanks!
I am having an issue with the top bar not showing on smaller devices… phones, tablet (portrait view).
The site: http://www.checkmeoutmagazine.com
The login and register, along with some other buttons, become not available. Here is the code you provided for the custom CSS panel:
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu {
display: block!important;
}
}
Please let me know what to do from here.
I pasted the code and it didn’t work. I also cleared the caches of my computer and phone.
Please and thank you in advance.
Hello pmacreative,
Please try to disable all the active plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge CDN files if you have and try it again after this. The problems should disappear.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the massage!
Having issues – I talked with the theme plugin maker of Formidable Pro (FP) – and they suggest I contact you.
I uploaded the Formidable Pro Zapier extension, followed their guidelines at:
https://formidablepro.com/knowledgebase/formidable-zapier/
And when I get to stage 4 of Zapier – it doesn’t load in the Forms via Formidable Pro.
Any idea how to fix this?
Should I contact the maker of WP Super Cache – FP found out that it was the plugin that is causing issues.
Thanks
Thanks Emil,
I definitely have the 7 days post sorting option enabled.
I checked the backend and the count is not going up after page refresh.
I’m not running a cache plugin, but I have a feeling that this is a host issue so I am going to call them.
Thanks,
Ben
Hi
Please make sure that you’ve updated the theme according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ and all theme’s files are copied in the wp-content\themes directory. Also try this without any plugins active, clear all caches and test again. If the problem persist try to make a new fresh WordPress install and try to install the theme again.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi,
Please delete the W3 Total Cache plugin and use the WP Super Cache plugin. https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
@Sharozdawa – Sorry for the delay. The official demo is too large and we couldn’t included it in the theme because of this. The theme comes with a light version for each demo, it includes the style, some content and the pages used on the official demo. We wanted to include the official demo xml file but the wordpress importer plugin is buggy and it doesn’t take all the parameters (blocks settings, sidebars and other elements are not saved). The demos included in the theme should provide a good start and if you want to find more about a certain section you can ask here and we will provide the necessary details.
You can read more about each demo here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/introduction/
@facebook – This issue is caused by the way facebook takes the post data and saves it in their cache, you can read more about this here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/facebook-share/
Thank you!
