Hi,
Maybe it’s something in the settings of your plugin. We recommend using WP Super Cache plugin with our theme as it it tested to work properly. http://screencast.com/t/IEb3dFcd0Mld
If you already use WP Super Cache, you can check this guide how to set it up http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-install-and-setup-wp-super-cache-for-beginners/
I hope this helps.
Thanks.
Hi
I’ve checked your site and the top menu is displayed fine now: http://screencast.com/t/VJ3pC1cZy If you still have this issue try to clear all caches, browser cache too and test again.
Thanks!
Hi Alin,
Thank you. I reinstalled both theme and plugin then flushed all caches. Before I had just flushed particular files. Everything is back up and running again.
Regards
Peter
Hmmm,
I’m afraid it’s broken again, and worse this time…
I tried to install a different caching plug-in, W3 Total Cache and the same ‘white screen’ appeared after trying to access my dashboard. The trick with FTP and renaming the plugin worked, but after deleting the plugin (from the dashboard) I got a white screen again. Although the plugin directory was removed (as checked with the FTP client), I’m afraid it left some code.
So, now I’m stuck with a white screen when trying to enter the dashboard?!?
Please help again?
Thanks!

@Alain [tagDiv], thank you for the advice. I just uninstall Wp-rocket to use WP Super Cache instead.
How to Uninstall WP Rocket: Before installing WP Super Cache, save the database, uninstall the plugin WP-Rocket, remove traces of WP Rocket in wp-config, use the plugin options Clean to remove all table options mentioning WP-rocket, remove the WP Rocket folder in wp-content / cache, delete advanced-cache.php.
The problem is now solved. Now I think I have to find an accommodation SSD to boost a little browsing my website using NewsMag. If you have any suggestions, I would be delighted to know them.
Best regards

Enter via FTP and locate folder wp-content/plugins/wp-cache folder. and rename for wp-2
Now wp cache are disabled and you can enter into your dashboard.
Hi,
I just installed the WP cache plug, and right after the installation the dashboard function broke down.
I can’t get to my dashboard anymore…. After log-in, all I get is a white screen.
Please help?
Thanks

Are you using some cache plugin?
Thanks Bogdan, the ajax view count was already disabled, so I’ve enabled it now and cleared the cache, I’ll see if that helps.
Whilst we are the subject of cache, this could be the issue, everytime I make a change on my site I have to clear the cache otherwise it wont show up on mobile. Do you have any advice here?
Hi
For some reason the header warp have a height by 900px on the product post page, that’s why appear that blank space. Try to deactivate plugins except Visual Composer and Woocommerce, clear all caches and test again. if the problem persist try this custom css in theme panel custom css: http://screencast.com/t/mOPfX2IMQ
.td-header-wrap {
height: auto!important;
}
Let me know ho it goes.
Thanks!
Hello,
You can try to disable ajax view count: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ajax-view-count/
If this doesn’t work, please make sure that you use the latest theme version and check this only with Visual Composer active, disable all other plugins and clear cache, maybe the issue is caused by a plugin and refresh an article and see if the view counter increments.
If you want you can remove it with this custom CSS:
.single .td-post-views {
display: none;
}
Let me know how it goes!
Thank you!
I cleared the cloudflare cache and it is ok now. Sorry to bother. I don’t know how to delete a post.
Hi
Try to clear all caches, deactivate all plugins, leave just Visual Composer active and test again, also verify the console for any errors while saving the settings on the Theme Panel, usually it displays a 403 or 404 error.
If the problem persist try to check system status: http://screencast.com/t/3Nv4Hrv6
Increase max_execution_time at least at 300 and the max_input_vars should be bigger than 2000. Those values are set in php.ini file so try to access it but note that some hosts may restrict the access at this file, if you don’t have access to it contact your host provider and let him know about this situation. Also check the WP_MEMORY_LIMIT from wp-config.php file, here it’s a guide regrading this
http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks!
Hi,
In the Newspaper ver 6.5.1 we already provided latest version of Visual Composer.
@paulberrow The latest version of Visual Composer was not tested with Newspaper 4 and some issues could appear. I suggest to update to the latest theme version using this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ to make sure that Visual Composer will work properly.
@zeus Please make sure you update the theme properly(try via ftp) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ then disable all the plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and check if you still have this issue.
You should not have any issues as we tested this before release.
@Peter Replied here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/update-to-visual-composer-4-7-4-breaks-back-end/
Thanks!
Hi,
Please make sure you update the theme properly via ftp, make sure all the files were uploaded. Then clear cache and purge your files if you use CDN and also disable all the plugins except of Visual Composer and check if you still have this issue. Also disable any css/js minification.
The latest version of Visual Composer was tested with the theme and we did not found any issues.
Thanks!
Hi,
1. The Our latest posts block from 404 template should display 6 from your latest posts. Here you can find the 404 template – http://screencast.com/t/r6p39bgXiA Please check this without any plugins active except of Visual Composer and clear cache.
Also you can translate “Our latest posts” from Theme Panel > Translations – http://screencast.com/t/geRDMTdoZzuU
2. Try to re-save the permalinks from Settings > Permalinks and also disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache. Maybe it is caused by a plugin that you use. Do you use a redirect plugin?
Thanks!
Hi
Please make sure that you set the the smart snap to be always displayed: http://screencast.com/t/GBer6k6r4
Regarding the issues with images on mobile I am not sure why this happens as I’ve tested your site on mobile devices and works fine: http://screencast.com/t/GBer6k6r4 Try do deactivate lazy load animation, clear all caches including the phone’s cache, deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, and test again.
Thanks!
Hi
Thanks @Chris!
In addition at what Chris said, you could try to remove the header ad code, clear all caches deactivate the plugins except VC and test again. Also make sure you empty the phone cache memory too.
Let us know how it goes!
Thanks!
Hi,
Not sure why you have this issue, please check this without any plugins active, leave only Visual Composer active, clear cache and check again. Also make sure that all elements are selected from the Visual Composer Settings – http://screencast.com/t/gM3F8N3k
Thanks!
Hi,
Unfortunately we did not tested the theme with WP Rocket, these are the tested plugins – http://screencast.com/t/Otn1pFBxrOMQ so I cannot provide any recommendations how to set it to work well with the theme. For caching we recommend WP Super Cache plugin, use it on default just page cache.
Thanks!
Hello,
A cache (pronounced CASH) is a place to store something temporarily in a computing environment.
In order to use cache or clean it, you need to use a cache plugin. We recommend WP Super Cache as it it tested with our theme.
Thank you!
Hi
Try this guide and regenerate the thumbnails for all your images: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-fix-strange-thumbnails/ also check in browser console if there are some errors, deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again. If this does not help try to deactivate the lazy load animation from template settings: http://screencast.com/t/i7sTXja7keD then check again.
Let me know ho it goes and if the problem persist please provide your site url so I can inspect this closer.
Thanks!
I am also getting these errors. I went to Theme Panel>Categories and re-saved the settings. I also went to the exact category showing the error and changed settings, saved, and cleared cache. Still getting errors on this page:
http://wordpress.mauimagazine.net/category/maui-magazine/publisher-note/
Can you help me remove the error messages so they content will show properly?
I have not done the latest update that just came out. Will that affect it?
Thank you!

Hello,
I followed your last council and it appears that it was my cache plugin that was the problem with my theme NewsMag. I do not know what I should do now. I use WP Rocket, Keycdn.
Thank you
Yes Andrei, system status shows that speed booster is active. I doublechecked the file id, cleared all the caches, and still have the same result with the jquery-migrate.min javascript render blocking. Any other ideas.
Thanks,
