Hello Dian,
Please try to disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. This could very well be a plugin conflict preventing the normal functionality of the theme.
Let us know if you still encounter issues with the search function without plugins.
Thanks.
Hello,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
I’m using a Big Grid which uses the Sort Order ‘Popular (last 7 days) – theme counter (enable from panel)’. However, I’m having the feeling that it doesn’t work when I disable ‘Show Post Views’ under ‘Post Settings’ in the Theme Panel. Could you confirm?
PS: I don’t know if it’s relevant, but I turned on the Ajax view count since I’m using WP Super Cache.
Thanks in advance!
Good afternoon,
My website “hacking.com” is being a hacker. Whenever you activate your theme which is what you have been using already a year, it opens fraudulent pages.
Activate the theme -> clear cookies and cache -> F5 in the site and opens fraudulent page.
Whenever active wordpress themes Twenty Seventeen nothing happens.
Already download the new theme (still had the Newspaper6) Newspaper 8 but the same happens.
Can you help me?
Thank you.
Hi,
My site seems to take some time to load especially on mobile phone it takes a minute to load everything.
I tried pingdom to test my site it also says it takes around 60 sec to fully load. I tried uninstalling some plugins and temporarily removed ad codes same results.
Appreciate your assistance in finding a solution to speed up my site thanks.
Btw my site is hosted on godaddy which does not allow cache plugins
Hi,
There are many page speed and website optimizations tutorials here on the forum, that you can follow. Like these ones for example

Hello,
1. Please make sure you disable all plugins except the page builder and clear all caching including the browser cache, a cache plugin, a cdn server or even a hosting side cache.
2. We do not have any official method of implementation for co-authors. Our theme does not have such a feature to provide. The plugin you mention is not tested so I cannot say for sure where to implement the code I assume is provided by the plugin.
3. Unfortunately if you edited the theme files and have modifications in the php code, there is absolutely no method to update and not lose your customization. You cannot alter the code and keep it update proof. It;s best to make a back-up of your modifications and keep track of them in order to re-apply them after an update.
Use this guide to update but do not use the automatic method: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you!
I have 10k + likes https://www.facebook.com/crushingcorporate
but the counter on my page http://www.crushingcorporate.com/ still says 6936 likes
i have cleared cookies and cache and it has made no difference. please help fix
Hi,
It could be the plugin. Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
The only tested and recommended plugins to use with our theme are these ones:
Tested Plugins:
WP Super Cache- caching plugin
Contact form 7- used to make contact forms
bbPress- forum plugin
BuddyPress- social network plugin
Font Awesome 4 Menus- icon pack, supported in the theme menus
Jetpack- plugin with lots of features *it may slow down your site
WooCommerce- eCommerce solution
WordPress (Yoast) SEO- SEO plugin
Wp User Avatar- Change users avatars
Anything beyond this list is not tested and I cannot say for sure if it will work or not.
Thanks.
Hi,
@agrajewski Form what I can see the mobile theme is not functioning correctly on your website. It is even displayed on desktop in a few cases. This can be caused by the Total cache plugin that you are using. This plugin is known to cause problems in combination with the mobile theme plugin.
You can try to use this caching plugin instead and check the results
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Please note that when you use the mobile theme, content for pages has to be created using the mobile editor
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you want to display the same content from desktop, deactivate the mobile theme plugin. The mobile theme is optional, not required. The theme is fully responsive and will adapt with the best results for all devices.
@Silverheim What you are describing sound like the problem that was present in the previous theme update. Please check this topic for more information

Thanks
Hi,
It seems the website is displaying the mobile theme on desktop. That should not happen, it could be caused by a caching plugin that you might have installed or there could be a conflict between the mobile theme and other plugins. This could cause the mobile theme stylesheet to load instead
Try to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, clear any installed cache and check the results.
Also check any custom code you might have entered in the theme panel sections, or added directly to the theme files.
Something is affecting the theme and interfering with the functionality.
Thanks
Hello, i have tried all ways of hiding admin from the posts seems like doesnt work. I turned off from panel SHOW AUTHOR NAME and SHOW AUTHOR BOX are both off, i also cleared the cache. I dont know whats happening, please someone could help. Thanks in advance
You should clear all caching.
Please only use wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
And please contact your host and have them disable any hosting side cache.
Thanks.
Hi,
Try testing while having all other plugins deactivated if possible, and see if the problem is still happening. The theme requirements are mentioned here, an also some useful speed optimization guides

Likely disable the minification settings, and see if it works.
Look at the theme docs for wp-supercache to find similar settings in the cache you’re looking at.
Wich is the best configuration with litespeed cache. Thanks
Hello,
I use the las version of newspapper, with WP super cache, joast by seo, etc… but when I seach my web in Google “site:mywebsite.com” I can see a wrong pagination:
– domain.com (ok)
– domain.com/category (ok)
– domain.com/post-title (ok)
– domain.com/page/7 (What??)
– domain.com/page/75 (what again??)
– domain.com/page/133 (¿?¿?¿?¿? really?)
I can not understand what is happening.
Google sitemaps is ok, checked a thousand times. Sitemaps configuration is ok in Joast plugin.
Is a theme error possible? Any misconfiguration of the theme?
Thanks

Hi all
Many errors only in homepage when you scroll the page: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘top’ of undefine at tagdiv_theme.min.js?ver=8.1:284
I have already read what you recommend doing:
disable all plugins except visual composer (done)
clear cache (not present)
reset cdn files (Not used)
website address: http://www.energiemagazine.com
Errors disappear when I disable the tagDiv Composer plugin. I have to solve this problem, it can not stay so with a new site and theme. Can anyone help me please?
Thanks
Hello Bogdan,
Thanks for your help. I did exactly what you said and it worked but there is one thing in some of my previous posts I am still seeing both the comment options. I have also cleared the cache and still believe it is because of cache memory. What should I do?
1) Logging in via https://www.bizcatalyst360.com/wp-login.php works, however, the administrator’s name does not appear in the theme header (only “Sign In / Join” appears).
2) Using the ajax login (off home page) works. After login, the administrator can surf to wp-admin successfully.
3) WP Super Cache is in use – Clearing cache does not resolve the issue.
4) Disabling all plugins (Except js_composer – Required by the theme) does not resolve the issue
Dear Bogdan
Just wanna inform you that WooCommerce is not working with Newspaper wp theme
I’m using Newspaper V 8.1 I’m not using tagDiv Mobile Theme
Pages running well on mobile, while posts are giving blank white screen
After disabling all plugins, clearing cache and re-saveing permalinks. I found that the conflict is with WooCommerce.
Just to let you know about it and forward it to the people concerned
Google doesn’t like ‘resized with CSS’ images as the browser has to do the work, which is considered slow for mobile vs an optimized “serve images at actual size” methodology.
One trick is to change the 3 image sizes made by WordPress, separate from the theme to be your 3 most use sizes. Also consider cutting couple of modules.
Or, you could turn sizes off, and thumbs won’t be made, and will be resized in some instances (larger to small, but smaller to large will not fill boxes).
Try it; but then also check your Pagespeed Insights from Google for “make images right size…” warning.
If your server does mod_pagespeed, you can have it build temp cache images on the fly, including conversion to webp format. Again, something you’d need to test.
(I don’t work here; but we went through this. We ended up limiting “total number of sizes to 6” to keep thumb explosion down.)
ALSO: be sure to change the default compression for thumbs in your wp-config.php, as most small thumbs don’t need to be razor sharp, and so compression level of 50 works for most stuff!
I did as indicated and emptied the cache but it does not work.
Can you help me please?
