Hi
I’ve checked your site and the issue seems to be causes by a wrong css. Try to deactivate the child theme, clear all caches, purge the cdn if you’re using then test the site again.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hello,
This is most likely a plugin conflict. You even have an error at the top of your site: http://screencast.com/t/xU1jjRTI2
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Then only use this caching solution:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Thank you!
Hello,
Please make sure visual composer is installed and active on your site. What version of the theme do you use? What version of visual composer? Do you use the mobile theme?
The most common case is the mobile theme plugin which provides a second editor in the back-end so you have to scroll down a bit to see the visual composer editor.
if this is not the case, please disable all plugins except visual composer. clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Thank you!
Hi
Please make sure that the parameters from system status have the values indicated here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ also make sure that you’re not using special characters in sidebar’s name. You can use only Latin characters from a-z and 1-9. Id the problem persist try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test the site again.
Let me know ho it goes.
Thanks!
HI
Please make sure that you setup WP Super Cache according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ also I’ve noticed that you’re using child theme. Try to deactivate it then test the site again using Super cache plugin.
Hope this helps.
Thanks!
Hey Amit,
Why don’t you let us know about those some modifications that you did with .htaccess to get 100% Pagespeed score?
You may write the codes here or use pastebin.com to do so.
Also, have you made any further changes in functions.php or any other core files? Are settings for CloudFlare and WP Super cache is still what is described under the linked articles on Tagdiv?
Be more specific and don’t hesitate to share your optimization techniques that actually worked.
This community is a great place to help each other 🙂
Thank you.
Hi Bogdan,
At this point, we’re getting so much traffic that the WP Super Cache plugin can’t handle it, so we’ve had to move to serverside caching, where everything is handled on the server before being sent to WP. I tried using WP Super Cache plugin but with us getting anywhere from 10,000 – 20,000 pageviews PER HOUR at the moment, it just can’t handle the load. So we have NO CHOICE but to use serverside caching.
I say all of this to say, that “fix” unfortunately won’t work for me because I’m currently not utilizing WP Super Cache. Also, I’m not using the latest version of WP — I’m on 4.5.3 because I tend to wait until all bugs are worked out before upgrading. I upgraded to the latest version the day it came out one time and it took my site down for an entire week because of ONE line of bad code from WP developers.
So is there anything else I can do to make sure mobile pages load on EVERY page load?
– Dustin
found out it was happening because of the wp super cache plugin. how can I get this fixed so that I can continue to use wp super cache?
Thanks!
Brenda
Thank-you for the update.
I looked at the workaround and I have an additional question.
In the wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase1.php there are two occurrences of :
if ( function_exists( “apply_filters” ) ) {
Do both need to be changed ?
Thank-you.
Hi
Do you use a plugin for cache? If so check its options and delete all caches. We recommend WP Super Cache in this regard as it’s tested and works fine with our theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
I assume that you’re not using a cdn service so you don’t need to worry about this. You can check this link for more details in this regard: https://gtmetrix.com/why-use-a-cdn.html
With regard at plugins try to deactivate them all, leave just Visual Composer active then test the site again, it should work properly. Then you can enable back your plugins one bey one and check which one causes the conflict.
Thanks!
Hi MarioBoriassi,
For other users who access this topic, please notice that after several investigations in this regard have concluded that this type of issue come from WP Supercache which is not fully compatible with WordPress 4.6 and that’s why this problem occur. We hope that WP Super cache plugin will be updated it as soon as possible and that problem will be fixed. Notice that this issue appears and on Mobile Theme from Jetpack when the caching plugin is active.
Please notice that we have reported this issue to Jetpack and we are waiting for an update from them. Until that, you should use our workaround posted here -> https://github.com/Automattic/wp-super-cache/issues/132
Also, please try the theme without any untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting in the theme.
Thanks for the message and sorry for the inconvenience!
Hello all,
Until further investigation, we noticed that exists an error in or mobile theme plugin. Please notice that you should edit the plugin’s folder and then you have to add the next snippet of the code, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/6dU4ZWUIa Clear all your caches and test it again.
Thanks for the message!
Hello nairolf,
I asked your website and you do not provide me. If you want a deeper investigation in this regard, you have to provide your website URL. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
Thanks.
Hi
I am not sure why this happens as we didn’t get a similar report before. It could be a problem caused by cache or cdn. Try to clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using then test the site again.
Let us know how it goes and if the problem persist please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your login credentials and we will inspect this issue as soon as possible, also include a link to this topic.
Thanks!
Hi
It seems that there is a conflict between last version of SEO Yoast an Mobile theme plugin. We found a temporary solution which seems to work fine. Try to install this version of Mobile theme plugin: http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/td-mobile-plugin.zip clear all caches then test the site again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Good Morning Support,
I just upgraded to the latest version of the News Paper Theme. Since doing so, the mobile theme is doing what expected. When browsing our website on mobile devices, the theme keeps switching from responsive to mobile theme ? I am using WP Super Cache, however this has never caused a problem in earlier versions. We are also using the latest version of WordPress. Can someone shed some light on this ?
Thanks,
Thank you for answer!
But what does it mean clear cache? Is it mean cache in browser or something another?
Where i can find using or not using cnd files?
After that, can i enable plugins whithout problems?
Thank you!
Hello,
The string is empty for a reason. There is no error with the strin you mentioned. But on my end the strinc is on line 9886 not 1401. If you get a js error in your browser console it could be a plugin conflict as the animation is the first one to break with a plugin conflict. I assume your images get an opacity of 0 and cannot be seen properly. This is a very common issue caused by plugins. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Thank you!

Thanks Catalin,
from my side, I uninstalled the theme, used FTP to upload the theme, installed the latest mobile plugin but the error is still there:
Note the error came only on Homepage, other pages are OK.
here is the error that came after the latest articles module at homepage:
wp booster error:
td_api_base: mark_used_on_page: a comment

Hope this will help.
Meanwhile the august mobile plugin version is working fine as you can see on my site http://www.midronepro.com

Hello,
This is a wp super cache compatibility issue between the plugin and the latest vertsion of WP. This happnes even with the jetpack mobile thee. It a plugin issue, not a theme related issue. We have found a solution for it however until the plugin authors decide to update it. It is a simple one line o code solution:
https://github.com/Automattic/wp-super-cache/issues/132

Thank you!

HI
@Femsin please make sure that you’re using V 3.1 of Newsmag theme and also check if Visual Composer plugin is update at V 4.12 which is included in theme’s path. For more details about the update process please check this links: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Also try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test the site again. If you’re using a cache plugin make sure that ajax post views counter is enabled from theme panel > post settings: http://screencast.com/t/VJmuUbC7
Let us know how it goes.

Hi
I’ve checked your site and noticed that you have some js errors in browser’s console: http://screencast.com/t/l4dTnhFSUrJ6 Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using then test the site again.
We removed front-end editor with a hook within the theme becasue is not working properly with theme’s blocks. You can enable the Visual Composer front-end editor by removing this code: http://screencast.com/t/1N4LB7WhP2jR
Thanks!
