Some WordPress plugins also add cache functionality to your website. This helps your blog/site load faster because WordPress can retrieve the pages of your blog/site from the cache instead of generating them all over again.
All good cache plugins will clear the cache when a post, page, or comment is published. However, if you make other changes (e.g. to your theme), the cache may not be cleared and the old version may still appear. In this case, check the plugin’s instructions to find out how to clear its cache.
Note that WordPress does not come with a cache by default, so the above would only apply if you installed a cache plugin yourself.

Hi, I tried too with the video “https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1f-xobQDG4” and it worked without disabling any plugin. Of course I can do try again to deactivate all plugins and add my ink “https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cEVSNo-Y8w”. You suggest to clear cache. I know how to clear the browser cache, but if you’re referring the wordpress cache or theme cache how do i clear it?. Can you help me?
I just check for normal and mobile theme and both are already in my purple color.
I validate another time and kill the cache but no change.
Please also try this without any plugins. Disable all of them except visual composer and clear all caches. That means the caching plugin , a cdn server if you use it, or the hosting cache if this is the case.
This will rule out a plugin conflict.

The latest version of WordPress (4.5.x) ‘broke’ the Visual Composer and now it is necessary to update the plugin to the latest version of it, namely 4.11.2. Also, please notice that you cannot use a newer version of WordPress with an older version of Newspaper and Visual Composer because it will appear a lot of issues through it. So, please try to update your theme to the latest version (Newspaper 7.0.1), update your Visual Composer to the latest version 4.11.2, Social Counter to 4.0, clear all your caches and test it again.

1) First try to disable all plugins except visual composer and bbpress/buddypress, clear cache and reset cdn files. These css issues are usually plugin compatibility issues. If the problem is not fixed, please send us a link to your forum that has the issue so we can inspect it.

The issue was already resolved if you access your site now you will see the problem is gone. That is a caching issue as when you updated the theme, you still had the old version cached. Now it seems to have cleared.

Please try to disable all the plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all caches, purge CDN files and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. It could be a plugin issue that causes this.

Until now, we do not have any bad reports in this regard. Do you have some custom modifications in this regard which affect this thing and you are not aware of them? Please provide your website URL so I can further inspect it closer and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response. First of all, please ensure that this problem does not come from your untested plugins which might interact with the theme and create a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active (v. 4.11.2), clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using CDN and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

I’ve checked your site and found a js error in browser’s console: http://screencast.com/t/bx8DThohPr I am not sure if this error breaks Visual Composer but there is a chance to be affected. It seems that all VC’s shortcode is rendered as plain text, not as shortcode, that’s why page’s content is not displayed.
Make sure you updated the theme according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using then test again.
@geospatialmedia You can ignore the activation message as Visual Composer plugin comes bundled with the theme and you don’t need a license key for it.

Please update the theme at v 2.3.7 which is available on themeforest and also update Social Counter plugin at V 3.2 which is included in theme’s path, clear all caches then test again. Hi,
Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. A plugin could be the cause of this. Or if you have any custom css code or custom modification to the files, please remove them in order to see if it does not affect the padding. (I see some modification to the module 18 from the css in the theme panel. Please remove the custom css in your panel and check the images again)

My high traffic travel website http://www.asiantraveltips.com has been using Newspaper theme for a couple of months now and it has been pretty good, but since the latest version updates all kinds of things have broken and I can’t fix them. I am currently on V7.0.1. My server is a VPS at A Small Orange running Apache with PHP V 5.4.45 and 1024 MB RAM. I’ve copied the Theme Status data below.
The Visual Composer is no longer working. I have tried uninstalling the plugin and reinstalling from the plugins folder in the theme files and it’s now on V.4.11.2 as you recommend but it still doesn’t work. If you visit the home page you’ll see the [vc] code is displayed at the top of the page instead of the parallax image scroller that should be there.
The image above shows the page editor screen when I try to edit my static front page. It’s blank. Before I uninstalled and reinstalled VC, it was displaying a VC logo in there but when I’d click it, I’d be taken to their website to buy the product. Now there’s just a blank box and if I click on the VC logo next to “Classic Editor” it does nothing. Same when I try to create a new page.
I have also lost my Mappress Pro maps and the admin strip across the tops of pages and posts when I am logged in as administrator. If I change back to my old theme, they both work just fine so it’s definitely related to Newspaper theme. I have even tried disabling all the other plugins and disabling Cloudflare and it makes no difference. So it doesn’t seem to be a plugin conflict.
I’m desperate and running out of options. This is starting to crash my Google rankings as well now.

by the way, Using wp super cache plugin I´m getting 65 speed for desktop and 63 for mobile.
with w3 total cache the score is 80 for desktop and 68 for mobile.
I still don´t understand the issue of conflict for the speed booster plugin.

I disabled all of the plugins except visual composer and I do not use any caching on my website. I did clear browser cache etc. No luck. Still the logo is floating to the left side only on the home page. The only difference between the homepage and the others is the layout/ grid style.
In google chrome when the page first loads I can see the logo in the center for a split second and then it floats left.

To be sure, please try to do a clean install only through FTP because this is the surest method in this case. There is no other way to install a demo besides the theme panel. Please try to install a different demo and then install the classic blog. If this fails, maybe the customization you made broke some parts of the theme so please also do a clean install via ftp and start fresh. Your content will not be lost as it is kept in the database.
