Hello,
Our theme allows the sidebar to be positioned either left or right but you cannot have both at the same time. Only on pages can you achieve this in the tagdiv composer. On posts and other templates besides pages, this cannot be accomplished.
Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/
Thank you!
Hi,
The composer files could be blocked by your host as well. We have seen this issue countless times where certain theme files are being blocked by the host or by firewalls that break the theme functionality.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please create a new shop page using tagdiv composer. Do not edit the shop page created by woocommerce. Use the tagdiv composer and place woocommerce shortcodes on that page using a column text element. Here is a list of shortcodes you can use: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/
After your page is done, you can set it as the shop page in the woocommerce settings.
Thanks
Hi,
1. We would need a link to your website so we can take a look at these issues. The mobile menu will be accessible as soon as the page is loaded. In some cases because of slow loading speed or maybe files that cause 404 errors (not found), the mobile menu will be delayed in it’s functionality.
Or there could be conflicts with other plugins which break the mobile functionality. We will try to identify what is the cause in this case.
2. The menu should be sticky at all times if enabled
– https://www.screencast.com/t/BHd0JQZEfz
3. Maybe you have strong caching, however when changes in the website are made by you, the changes should be applied, that would be the ideal functionality. Check the cache settings if possible or CDN settings if used. The theme does not have a caching function so other factors are the cause here.
4. The contact page is a normal page, if you installed a demo it should be like there (different images however). We will take a look if you can link this page here.
5. The weather widget can be configured like this
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/weather-widget/
It will work as soon as you configure it with an API key as mentioned, and valid location.
6. You will have to configure the social counter with your own data
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
Edit the social counter either by editing the page with the tagDiv composer, or in the Appearance->Widgets section. Each instance of the counter has to be configured.
Thanks
Hello,
It seems the css is not loading at all. Please check security modules and cache on your host. Disable any optimization tools also. In these cases not just the td composer will be affected.
Plugins can also interfere so make sure you disable all plugins except the tagdiv composer.
Let us know if you still have trouble afterwards.
Thanks
Hello,
Please follow the solution here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagdiv-composer-not-working-11/
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hi Guys,
I’m finally capitulating and trying to get used to TagDiv Composer.
When I put a single image on the left and text on the right, I am finding that on a mobile device, I am getting a wide space between the bottom of the image and the top of the text: Image here: https://imgur.com/HzPbPec
I can play around with the image height in mobile view, but then the problem is that this setting remains the same for all other views (i.e., desktop, laptop, and tablet) which then looks like rubbish.
Shouldn’t this just resize normally in a mobile device without the extra space? Where is this extra space being called from? It is clearly not anything to do with margin or padding.
It would be helpful if I could edit for each device, but as it is now, a change in the responsive mode in the TagDiv editor remains when I go back to the other screen sizes. Very frustrating.
Hi Simion,
It’s been a while since I addressed this issue, but I have been toying around with it again and think I have come up with a work-around. I went into the TD Composer css file and was able to add a bit of right side padding to .tdc-inspector .tdc-tab-content-wrap. This at least pushes the editor into full view, but doesn’t really address the issue of why it’s rendering wrong in all my browsers. I tried clearing out the caches, resizing browsers, etc but I didn’t see any intuitive fix.
Check out this screenshot I took https://imgur.com/7mBWDpJ and you will see that the padding is rendering underneath of the right side display. Not sure if this helps with trouble shooting it, but I think the bottom line is that the formatting is right, but somehow the panes are overlapping. Make any sense? I’m not computer guru but am open to suggestions. I’m on a Mac running Sierra 10.12.6.
Kind regards 🙂
Hi Palle_66, I don’t use TagDiv Composer. I prefer Visual Composer (WP Bakery). TD composer has a number of conflicts with my set up so I don’t use it.
Hi Mesotu, You can do that changes in Tagdiv Composer.
Hello Team TagDiv!
I have created a page for the local elections – wokinghampaper.com/vote2018 – using TagDiv Composer.
It works fine on desktop, but not on mobile.
I have looked at the settings of the elements and I think they have all been set to SHOW correctly – column, row, item – all set to SHOW on mobile view.
But it’s not showing!
Please can you suggest some pointers so I can get this working.
Thanks
Phil
Hi guys,
In version 8.5, there was a VERY simple way to change the category title background color. See this img:
https://imgur.com/89jVoqe
However, in version 8.7, you will note that this option is now gone in Visual Composer (now called WP Bakery). See img for v8.7:
https://imgur.com/yPs4e11
When I use the web inspector to find out the css class, there is a massive clump of classes that affect many elements across the entire theme. See:
https://imgur.com/MPf58Vz
Obviously, all of these can’t apply to block 11 in this case. I’ve tried adding in extra classes, but it didn’t work. I’ve wasted far too much time trying to identify the specific class and then add extra classes to differentiate the different categories by color.
So my question is, how do I add back in this tag color feature in Visual Composer (WP Bakery)? I would prefer not to have to downgrade theme versions to do something this basic. If I knew which file from 8.5 to move to Newspaper 8.7, then this problem would be solved. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Kind regards
Hi tagdiv,
The latest update ( April 27. 2018) gives me a lot of stress to clear out and restore the previous backup.
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method td_config_helper::get_map_block_shadow_array() in /home/5jhzf4tk57svku4/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/tdc_map.php:662 Stack trace: #0 /home/5jhzf4tk57svku4/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/tdc_main.php(32): require_once() #1 /home/5jhzf4tk57svku4/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/td-composer.php(35): require_once(‘/home/5a7c8302f…’) #2 /home/5jhzf4tk57svku4/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(286): tdc_plugin_init(”) #3 /home/5jhzf4tk57svku4/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(310): WP_Hook->apply_filters(”, Array) #4 /home/5jhzf4tk57svku4/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php(453): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #5 /home/5jhzf4tk57svku4/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_wp_booster_functions.php(207): do_action(‘td_wp_booster_l…’) #6 /home/5jhzf4tk57svku4/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/functions.php(23 in /home/5jhzf4tk57svku4/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/tdc_map.php on line 662

There’s a lot of glitches since the update of tagdiv composer. Are the glitches going to be fixed?
Hi everyone.
I tried to edit my shop page with the TD composer. The page keeps loading and after a while, it shows this error at the header “Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!”
My store runs on woocommerce.
How do I fix this?
I’m new to using tagdiv composer, but I made a bunch of changes and saved them and navigated back to WP Admin->Pages. Then when I later navigated back to WP Admin->Pages and clicked on the tagdiv composer button to make edits, it started with a fresh page. When I went back to WP Admin without saving, all my originally saved edits disappeared. Am I using this incorrectly? How can I make edits to any existing page with tagdiv composer that was also previously created by tagdiv composer?
Hello,
I tried installing the supercache plugin to help the tagdiv composer load, but it didn’t work. In fact, supercache made my whole site crash. I also tried deleting and reinstalling the tagdiv composer, which did not help.
I can’t build my pages without the composer. Please help!!!
hey man, i need some help with TD COMPOSER :/

I’m having the same issues as others but nothing in the other threads corrects my problem. All of my status icons are green and I still get a blank page when I try to edit with composer. Please help.
Google Chrome gives this error on the page; Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED
Microsoft Edge won’t even connect to the page and gives this error; Error Code: INET_E_DOWNLOAD_FAILURE
Why am I getting this info box on my admin area?

Just now! I’m not comfortable with files and it took me a bit longer! Not the tagdiv composer works!!!
Really appraciate for your help!
You are wrong, in the homepage smart sidebar is not working because is a widgetized element, if you scroll down in my website you’ll see the smart sidebar stays on top, while if you go to http://weekenjoy.com/san-marcos-2018-en-clandestino/ per example, you will see the sidebar sticky.
If i use a widgetized sidebar (in pages made with visual or tagdiv composer) the widget stays on top (like the home page http://weekenjoy.com/)
Hello Severin,
Please read the following topic from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/edit-with-td-composer-sends-me-to-a-blank-screen/ and try to set up each parameter as described there.
Thanks.
I need this
1) smart sidebar + blocks + visual OR tagdiv composer
2) smart sidebar + working blocks (i remember to you blocks lose their style without columns or rows of a visual constructor).
Hello,
Please first try to increase your memory allocation like so: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
And if the issue is still there afterwards, please also try this solution:
