Hi there. I am getting a 403 error on the index page as soon as i activate any composer plugins. As soon as i deactivate them the page loads normally. can you please help.

Hello update to version 8.7 I want to customize my home page, but disable tagDiv Composer because it broke my capture pages. But when I deactivated it, I broke the Social Counter tagDiv only appear pure codes. With the update 8.7.1 since the problem is solved, the tagDivComposer can be used without breaking my capture pages. Thank you
I have the same question. Is it necessary to install the multi-purpose plugin? It doesn’t appear listed in the installed plugin page. What are the correct version numbers for tagDiv composer and social counter? I tried to update, but the version numbers didn’t change from 8.5? I have Composer 2.1 and Social Counter 4.2. Composer doesn’t work correctly with the new style tab, or with the Flex block.

I woundering how I can create my homepage side with the tagdiv composer and still have my sidebanner at the top. Beacause every time i add something in the tagdiv composer mode, my sidebanner from the widgets is going down at the bottom of the site.

I’m using “Newspaper 8.7”, with “Column text” of “tagDiv Composer”, when click to “Edit Content”, pop up “WP Editor” window with infinite circle loading but not the “text area” to use.

@Zilhan thank you for the compliment. I use the TD Composer coz of its dedicated elements built specifically for the theme (like the new flex box and td multipurpose plugin elements). The advice given here is that you should not use td composer and visual composer at the same time because it will cause plugin conflicts. So, the best option is to choose one and deactivate the other. So, the choice is yours, even though the recommended plugin since version 8.5 o4 8.6 has been TD composer because it is being optimized for the theme specifically.

I had problem with using both at the same time and searched a lot but I dont know what to do. I am planing to reinstall my wp and reinstall newspaper without td composer? is wpbakery is enough? i am really lost here?
I purchased this theme because it has great visual composer (I really dont understand why you have two composer) and required minimum coding. But I am stuck at creating page.

@Zilhan You can create a page with no sidebar, create pages in any way you want. Having a sidebar is not mandatory, or requirement for pages or posts.
So simply create a new page and depending on what composer you are using on the website, add elements in it. Save the page and view it. If there is a problem, please provide some more details about it.

I put so many messages maybe That is why I am ignored but I am really heaving big issue. When I try to use visual composer there is no text with title element. Also I am having problems with editing existing elements. When I open it edit page comes blank.

The multi-purpose plugin is optional. When installed it will add more elements in the tagDiv composer

If you do not use any of these elements, you can deactivate it.

Yes, you should update the theme to the latest version of it. The 7.2 PHP version is supported. Also, regarding on 502 Bad Gateway Error, after further deeper investigations, it seems that happens due to a setting from the server, regarding on SSL. This option force to rewrite external links and this function seem to break our TD Composer, sorry! Please disable it. In the future, we will consider finding a solution in this case, sorry!

After you have enabled the Newsletter plugin you will have to check the TD Composer because the Newsletter element will be there, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/qwoi5OnhP Notice that all of the required setups should have to be from there. You should register to one of the Newsletter providers and take from there the embedded code which has to be added in the correct section on Newsletter element.

Please make sure that your old TD Composer has been removed and install the new one which comes bundled with the latest version of the theme (TD COmposer v2.1). Ensure that you are using the right plugin, clear all the caches, purge all CDN files, remove browser caches and check the results. Should work.

I am trying to recreate a page using tagDIV composer, the layout is similar to this one:

So that the sidebar happens only after an image and a block of text.
I have:
1. Single image (no sidebar here)
2. Column text (no sidebar here)
3. Title (from here can I split in 2/3 + 1/3? And add a sidebar)
4. Column text (with woocommerce shortcodes)
Whenever I am in the tagdiv composer and I hover on the column setting of an element I get the global settings, so that I get the sidebar starting from the image on top of the page.

I have the same issue and many others… I am going crazyyyy. I am thinking to start from the beginning after 1 week hard work!!! I thought main reason is the conflict between composers but I deactivated the tagdiv composer. Visual Composer is enough for me but it seems missing tagdiv composer causes problemsss. I started to feel regret about buying this theme

Each page in unique, so you can build each one differently in any way possible. If you set a theme background image in the theme panel

Then that background will be displayed on all the website. Individual backgrounds for each pages cannot be set.
Note that most of the elements in the tagDiv composer can have backgrounds (rows, columns, blocks etc)

Tag div composer is V1, but there is no option to update.

There were some urgent fixes made to the composer and the theme, the composer is now version 2.1. If you are currently experiencing issues you can download the latest theme package and install it. There should not be anymore issues.
