I was talking about the same problem in two posts in this forum, excuse me (titled “WPBakery Page Builder”).
I’m sure I was not using Visual composer or WPBakery for posts. This was only for homepage. Now I developed a new homepage working with TagDiv Visual Composer and this is now the homepage.
I disabled WPBakery Page Builder.
But this don’t fixed my problem.
My problem is with Newspaper default template for Posts, because the width of content text is fullwidth instead of the measure of the template.
I hope this is clearer and can help me.
I’ve upgraded to Newspaper 8.5 and installed the landing page elements plugin. However, none of the new elements are showing up in tagdiv composer when I edit a page. How to fix?
Is there an updated version of composer? Maybe that would help?
As far as I can see, my plugin versions are up to date. I click it and it i just shows the loading image icon and even after waiting hours, it remained the same. Please advise.

First thing: in case I make need to make a modification the page (for sample “showcase”) that has been set as the “shop” page, what procedure shall I follow? The “showcase” cannot be properly reassigned?
I build the page with the WPBakery Page Builder in the backend. The WPBakery doesn’t have a “title” block, only “text with title”.
When I switched to the tagDiv Composer – I must say I thought they where the same thing, displayed differently – I found the “title” element. I added it and it works, but the WPBakery Page Builder elements “backed” together and where no more editable. (Probably you still can, but in text mode!)
I’d rather to keep things editable, just in case.
Is there a method – WPBackery or tagDiv – preferable then the other, maybe for compatibility issues in the future?
That should work properly, note that the shop page has to be configured before setting it as shop page. Create a new page for example, set the page template you want, and also the elements you want in it’s content. Then set it as shop page in the woocommerce settings.
Once set as shop page you cannot edit it with the composer again, or make any other changes to the page template.
Instead of the text with title you could use the title element, since there is no need for the actual text

What is your recommendation for to use with posts?
The site has been working very well with WPBakery. Really I have only the homepage as page and all my posts are built with Default site post template Style 3.
I think I don’t use VC for posts.

Hello I have recently started using the tagdiv composer and deleted visual composer. Currently the mobile theme is active. How to hide the featured image displayed at the top of each pages for a particular category. I’m looking for a simple CSS solution. I hear that the official AMP plugin will be released soon. What about the mobile plugin after that. Is it mandatory to use both the plugins or just the AMP. I have another blog that requires AMP support. Can I wait for the official AMP plugin or the official AMP plugin?

We know of 3 possible causes for this issue.
1) The wp super cache setting to cache page. Please only use these settings in wp super cache: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
If you use any other cache plugin, make sure you do not cache pages for known users or for logged in users depending on the plugin setting.
2) Do not use this setting in seo by yoast: https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh
3) Editing a page that was previously built with another page builder.
You need to edit the page with the builder it was initially created with. Do not edit a page with tagdiv composer if it was not originally built with it. If you created your page in visual composer and then switched to our own page builder, you will have to re-create that page

VPBakery page builder = Visual composer. They simply changed names in the current version of the plugin.
If you use visual composer on posts, you will not be able to switch to the tagdiv composer as it cannot be used on posts. Visual composer as well was never tested or recommended to be used on posts as mentioned here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer
If you already used it on all your posts then stick to visual composer for now as you will have to re-create all the posts to not use VC if you want to switch page builders.

I created a page with the visual composer and want to place the html-code of the regular page in the mobile editor. but the code starting [vc_row][vc_column width="2/3"] is shown on mobile – like several code fragments as well. and a lot things are not shown at all – doesn’t matter how simple the site is.

The tagDiv composer pages should not be edited with Visual composer, or the other way around. Choose the one you want and deactivate the other.
If you want to set a custom page, create it previously with the composer you use with the elements needed.
Then set it as shop page, the custom content will be displayed first, then the product loop or what it is chosen in the Woocoomerce settings for the shop page.
Do not edit the page again with the composer after setting it as shop page. There will be errors. That could be the issue that is happening to you.

1. Please provide examples of what style you are referring to. Please paste a link to your page and mention what is wrong sith the styling.
2. A sidebar on a page is assigned through the taghdiv composer on a split row. Either add elements directly or use a widget sidebar element.
3. The featured image is never visible on pages. On our demo it is a single image element, not a featured images set in wordpress.
4. You could remove that text if needed. That is displayed when there is no content in that element. It would require a modification to the text with title element, like this

You can edit the page with the composer and actually see the elements used. Then make the changes you want in the theme panel.
For example the top grid is Big grid 9, make the change here

This issue happens because you use visual composer on posts and the current version of the theme activates the tagdiv composer automatically. Please do not use both visual composer and tagdiv composer at the same time. Please do not copy shortcodes from vc into the tagdiv composer as it will not work properly. You have to re-create the pages adding elements to the page in the front-end builder. The actual shop page cannot be edited with the composer if that is what you are doing. It will always display content according to the predefined woocommerce settings
