Hello res,
As I can see in your image, that is the title of the block in Visual Composer. If you want to have on your homepage more than one, you have to add more block elements in the homepage or text with title element, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/rvVyTFHY -> http://screencast.com/t/22ZJprNBi2U For more information about how to use Visual Composer, please check this documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
Hope this helps!
If is not what you mean, please provide more details about what you want to achieve so I will be able to provide a more accurate response in this regard.
Thank you for the message!
Hello joyceloh,
Please notice that this extra white space from your bottom page is not theme related. I suppose that come from your untested plugins which you are using in our theme -> http://screencast.com/t/n6OiQjJJ6JPh. Please try the code below and lace it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
.home iframe {
display:none
}
The result -> http://screencast.com/t/JNzAaPtOF
Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
Thanks.
Hi there, I bought the theme a week ago to update my website. I am still working in localhost and something happened and I don’t know how to fix.
Every page that I enter has this error: class=”archive category category-dicas category-146 logged-in admin-bar no-customize-support td_category_template_6 td_category_top_posts_style_4 wpb-js-composer js-comp-ver-4.11 vc_responsive td-animation-stack-type0 td-full-layout” itemscope=”itemscope” itemtype=”http://schema.org/WebPage”>
As you can see here http://snag.gy/JQmF3.jpg .
I thing this started when I putted the Google Analytics UA,and then take it off.
Can you help me?
Hello Joel James,
Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Also, if you have some additional customizations through code or your have some minify files please try to revert these to the default state and check after this if your problem is still there.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hi,
@Breakwater
Unfortunately there are no settings for the attachment page other than the ones seen here: http://screencast.com/t/x4ieLRMn74s You cannot add visual composer elements to the attachment page from the theme panel. What you can do is use the do_shortcode function to add content through code. Every visual composer element has a shortcode that can be seen here: http://screencast.com/t/lEQjrxFAZo
Then you can use this code:
You can add the code in the attachment template file like so: http://screencast.com/t/yht7usHz
Now my block appeared on the attachment page: http://screencast.com/t/GQ0WNwFcjif
@dizajn
I’m not sure why you get the attachment page from linking to the media file. This should be the result in linking to the media file: http://screencast.com/t/1Kgp9otgj
If this is the case and your images realy link to the attachment page instead of the media file, please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset vdn files. There could be a plugin conflict that does this.
Thank you!
HI,
I have deactivated all plugins except Visual Composer and i have cleaned all caches as you have said, but the problem is still present.
here is the url:
http://ugcionews.unlimitedsoftware.it/
could you kindly give a look?
thanks
Hello res,
If you want to change the settings for your Latest articles, you have to edit this template from Visual Composer, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/Mrm7lhvDs
Thank you for the message!
Hi
To achieve the current layout on our demos we combined different blocks on the page and set a specific configuration for them.
Please check our documentation for more details about page setup, blocks settings and visual composer usage: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-use-visual-composer/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-block-settings-tutorial/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/ Also you can check our youtube videos here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUdVeZ1pbuc&list=PL6CsDkMaejhpWFcFNOIDfdp5nIT0NbUbj
1. On top of our travel demo we use a big grid 6 with grid style 7: http://screencast.com/t/kK4cxADm4M7
2. I assume that you’re referring at this part from our demo: http://screencast.com/t/1K76Jyg8bb6 There we use latest article part and module 14 for layout: http://screencast.com/t/bzWaMkx7qMpq You can also use a block 13 from Visual Composer to achieve the same layout: http://screencast.com/t/uvzjovotqyS
3. To move the title below the featured image on module 14 add this css in theme panel > custom code > custom css: http://screencast.com/t/1N8UqmYG0qw
.td_module_14 .meta-info {
position: initial;
}
Thanks!
Hi,
We have not tested adding 3 ads in a row, but you could try to add your code inside a text block in visual composer and insert the adsense code in text mode (not visual) and simply split the row in 3 sections like so:
http://screencast.com/t/JAsXojOJ
Thank you!
Hi
Our theme was designed to display the post/page content to a 1021px width and there is no option to make a row full width, sorry. You can use a slide from revolution slider plugin for a full width layout but elements from Visual Composer can’t have a full width layout with our theme.
Thanks for your understanding.
Hi
Please make sure that the categories are enabled from screen option: http://screencast.com/t/OT6vUnLPFiVB Also try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again.
Let us know how it goes and if the problem persist please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your login credentials and we will inspect this issue as soon as possible, also include a link to this topic.
Thanks!
Hi,
The error you get is because you had visual composer before and the folder already exists in the specified path. Please delete this folder from here: http://www.ontrackmagazine.co.uk/web/content/wp-content/plugins/js_composer
Then you can install the plugin from the theme panel.
Or you can follow the method Chris suggested as ftp is always the best solution. Simply replace the folder with the new one that comes with the theme.
Thanks.
Hi
Please make sure that you updated the theme according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using then test if the problem is still there.
Let me know how it goes and if you still can’t manage to solve this issue provide your site url so I can have a closer look to it.
Thanks!
Hi
You can set a background color for each bloc title from Visual Composer page-builder: http://screencast.com/t/iiTDFVA80 – http://screencast.com/t/nBOu6Ofz72Si
For more details regarding page setup and visual composer usage with our theme please refer to our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-use-visual-composer/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-block-settings-tutorial/ Also you can check our youtube videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUdVeZ1pbuc&list=PL6CsDkMaejhpWFcFNOIDfdp5nIT0NbUbj

Hi,
It seems the buddypress registration page is pretty messed up. It could be a plugin conflict that interferes with the css. You can edit the page from buddypress as the registration form comes from the plugin. You can try to disable all other plugins except visual composer and buddypress to see if there is a plugin conflict. Also clear your cache and reset cdn files.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Can we use any visual composer addon, the theme won’t have any problems?
We understand you guys can not test all of them, but it’s secure and will run fine?
Thank´s
Hello there 🙂
I got a problem with my theme. I’m using the Big Grid 2 from the Visual Composer. There I want to change the design settings = margin. For example I use 10px on the right AND on the left side. But it just apply to the left side. What’s the problem?
Also can I change the size of the big grid pictures? They are way to big for me.
Thank you!
Not really theme related, possibly a plugin issue on your live blog?
Try disabling all plugins except for Visual Composer.
Do the menus work if you switch to twenty-fifteen theme ?
Theme doesn’t manage the default WP menus function.
I keep getting this error can anyone help please.

Hello rea-secret,
Please try to set your smart lists according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-lists/ (for smart lists we recommend to use single template style 5 for posts for avoiding the duplicate images).
Another possibility, in this case, would be ->
Duplicate images on smart lists usually are the result of using the Photon feature of the Jetpack. If you use this feature please disable it as it is known to cause issues with our theme.
If the problem is still there, please try to disable all plugins except visual composer and clear your cache as other plugins could also conflict with the smart lists. Also, if you are using “strange” characters (!@#$%^&*/”- etc) in ALT tag, the image will be twice. I have added this issue to our list of fixes and in next major updates will solve this problem. Until we will fix this issue, please try to remove these kinds of symbols in ATL tag for better results.
Also, and last but not least, please use post template 5 when you are using the smart list for better results. For more information about smart list, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-lists/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hi,
I’m creating a custom home page using visual composer. I don’t want the posts loop to appear on that page. There is no option for disabling it in the posts loop sittings tap.
Hello willysawa,
I have checked your website and I saw that this type of element is not part of our theme. It belongs to an untested plugin -> http://screencast.com/t/sMRsrrbdhy and we have no idea about the behaviour of the theme with this type of plugin. Please notice that we cannot provide support for untested plugins, sorry! Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme. For better results in our theme, please try to use fewer untested plugins, because these interact with the theme and can produce some damages for your layout. Please try to replace this slider from this plugin with our Visual Composer element, named Big Slider, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/3w4g3zx9 because this element has the same functionality.
Hope this helps!
Thank you for your understanding!
I have emailed just now, it seems to be any time I use Visual Composer on a page it drops the sidebar out
Wow, That is a whole lot of questions in one!
1) Unfortunately the latest articles cannot stretch to the whole width as they are not visual composer elements. There is no easy way to do it.
2) You cannot get the footer ad outside the footer. You will need to place the add in every post template, category template or page as the footer ad is meant to stay in the footer. It cannot create the necessary space for it in every other template that displays above it. If you want this custopmization you have a bit of work to do as you need to use this code:
Then place an ad in the custom ad 1 spot and then use it in every post template you use: http://screencast.com/t/pxohXgHczwym (these are in the root directory), the category pages: http://screencast.com/t/zgs5t556 , search results, and any other content you have on your site.
As you can see it’s not that easy.
3)You cannot add borders to the big grid as borders will increase the width with a few pixels and the grid depends on it’s fixed width. The layout will break if I add borders with css to it.
4)Please follow this topic to see how this issue can be resolved: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/chinese-social-icons/
5) a)It’s best to hide the section altogether and simply upload a mobile logo from the theme panel as there is no point in having 2 logos :
@media (max-width:767px){
.td-header-sp-recs{
display:none!important;
}
}
b) same issue as answer 4
Thanks.
