Dear TagDiv Support Team,
We are currently experiencing severe performance issues related to TagDiv Composer. The plugin is causing very high CPU usage, the site becomes extremely slow or even stops responding.
Our setup details are as follows:
WordPress Multisite installation
Approximately 41,000 posts per site
Hosted on Kinsta Server (high-performance environment)
Traffic is significantly high during the day

There is no need to make any edits in the theme or plugin files, the code can be easily set using tagDiv Composer on the homepage. Edit the homepage and you can set the shortcode directly in column text or text wit title elemets in the text zone – https://imgur.com/DSSni9j

Hello tagDiv team,
I’m contacting you regarding a serious security issue I’ve been investigating on a WordPress website using the tagDiv Composer plugin.
After noticing a large number of fake user registrations, I performed a full audit of the system, including blocking the REST API, disabling XML-RPC, and adding multiple CAPTCHA layers (Cloudflare Turnstile + image CAPTCHA).
Despite all these protections, fake users were still being created automatically.
🔍 Findings
After enabling detailed logging on the user_register hook, I discovered that all unauthorized user creations originate from this file:
/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_ajax.php
The log entries clearly show that the wp_insert_user() call (or an equivalent function) is being triggered from inside that file, even when public registration is disabled in WordPress.
I verified that:
The file path is valid and part of tagDiv Composer.

The site is running the latest version of tagDiv Composer and the Newspaper theme.
After reinstalling a fresh copy of the plugin, the issue still persists (which suggests either a persistent injection or an unprotected AJAX endpoint).

I’m currently using the Newsmag 5 theme for my website MahakalTimes.com
, and I’d like to display a Google Web Stories section just below the Hero Area on the homepage.
I’ve installed and configured the Web Stories plugin by Google, which provides the [web_stories] shortcode. However, I don’t see any built-in option in TagDiv Composer or the homepage template to insert this shortcode directly below the Hero section.
Could you please guide me on the following points:
How can I manually insert the [web_stories] shortcode below the Hero Area using code (PHP or a custom module)?
Which template or PHP file (for example, template-homepage.php, loop.php, or any Hero module file) should I edit to safely add this shortcode below the Hero layout?
Do you have any recommended method or sample code to integrate plugin shortcodes like [web_stories] inside the homepage structure without affecting theme updates?
My goal is to feature a Web Stories showcase (horizontal scroll or grid style) immediately under the Hero section, maintaining full visual alignment with the theme’s layout.

Ok, so there is no solution so far :/ Option 1 is a pain and with solution 2 you cannot use the tagdiv composer.
Maybe a more or less simple solution would be to have the ability to embed a page in a sidebar with a special developped TagDiv-Widget.

This situation appears when the theme plugins are not installed/updated. Please go to Newspaper plugins and make sure that the theme plugins you had before the theme update are installed and activated, those should be: tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library, in some cases, tagDiv Standard Pack. IN case that there are othere shortcodes appering after you activated those plugins, then please provide some screenshots with them.

I’m using Newspaper Theme v12.7.1 for my site https://www.diplopolis.com.
I’ve created a custom taxonomy called “Location” using the Custom Post Type UI (CPT UI) plugin. Based on all that I have read, the taxonomy is attached to standard Posts and set to be public, queryable, and has archives enabled.
My goal is to display articles grouped by their Location — for example, all posts tagged “Europe”, “Ukraine”, “Russia”, etc.
What I’ve tried so far:
Confirmed that the taxonomy appears in the WordPress admin and that posts are assigned to their respective Location terms.
Flushed permalinks by going to Settings>Permalinks and Saving Changes.
Enabled the taxonomy in Theme Panel → CPT & Taxonomy. I see Location listed there.
Attempted to use tagDiv Composer → Flex Loop / Loop Grid/Custom Field and couple of other elements, but I cannot find a clear way to filter posts to be displayed by my Location taxonomy.
I also created a Cloud Library → Custom Taxonomy template and assigned it to “Location”, and made it Global but the archive pages still do not display the posts as expected.
I’ve read the documentation on CPT, but I’m still unable to get posts to display per Location on either the archive pages or custom pages.
Could you please guide me step-by-step. It would be very helpful if you could provide me all the steps just in case I have missed something:
Which Element/Module to use for display and the correct way to configure the element/module to show posts filtered by the Location taxonomy.
Any additional theme settings or steps I might have missed to make the taxonomy available to Composer filters.
Whether there are any known compatibility issues with CPT UI in v12.7.1.
Any screenshots or references to the right documentation/video would be much appreciated.

The prebuild blocks, grids, loops and flex blocks will display only one category, to display more or all categories, you’ll need to create your own module using the tgadiv composer and module builder and use theme on Flex Block Builder and Flex Loop Builder

Most of the time, this https://i.imgur.com/LwIKnm1.png problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme or a plugin conflict; therefore, after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page/cloud template, the next time you try to edit it, you’ll get that error.
If is only for one page or a cloud template (it can be on the header or footer, you can change them for tests and see if the problem persists), this is from some settings/shortcodes set on it and it can be fixed using the page revision https://wordpress.com/support/page-post-revisions/

1. A single license key can be used for the main domain and one testing domain, allowing it to work on a maximum of two domains. If you don’t need a testing domain, you can use the license for any two of the three domains you have. For the third domain, you will need an additional license.

There are only 2 possibilities:
1. Create the sidebar for each page using tagdiv Composer and copy and paste the elements from one page to another.
2. Using widgets, you can not create the sidebar using tagDiv Composer, but you cna use tagDiv Composer to add the sidebar widget and have it the same on all pages, and when you edit something in widgets, it will be reflected on all pages.

I checked the webiste and this is now looking ok, but I see that you have Newspaper v 12.7, not the last version 12.7.1
Also, the js_composer is a bundle plugin in our theme, so we provide the last version of the plugin available in the moment we update our theme (https://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/js-composer-8.6.1.zip).

That means there are problems. And I believe they aren’t related.
For the first issue with editing with the composer I suggest entering the code from the bottom of this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ meaning this one https://prnt.sc/MQRKxmjITK4V in the htaccess file. You can add it at the bottom of the existing code. Then check if the composer works correctly.
For the other issue, with the cloud library, you could try as a first step to check the wp memory and the rest of these parameters mentioned here https://prnt.sc/flMy0UJQE0W3 If these are lower than recommended, I suggest increasing them, the methods are described in the guide I provided.

The first step will be to make sure that you are using the latest Newspaper version, v12.7.1. If you have an older version, please update the theme. I’m using the News Hub Pro pre-built theme from Newspaper by tagDiv. I’m trying to add a sidebar to my pages and category pages, but I can’t get it to appear.
I’ve set the page layout in the Theme Panel to a layout with sidebar (not Full Width), and I can see the widget area for the sidebar in the TagDiv Composer. However, the sidebar still doesn’t show on the front end.
I also tried activating and deactivating Smart Sidebar, but it didn’t help.
My goal is to place ads in this sidebar, but it doesn’t display or allow ads to be added directly from the Theme Control Panel.
Could you please explain the correct way to enable and display a sidebar in News Hub Pro, so that I can use it for ads?
