Hi ottopop, if you are using the last version of newspaper v10.3.6.1 and wordpres 5.5 follow the above steps:
1. Disable tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/uzBdRB9.png
2. delete tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/xGGfYE7.png
3. Reinstall tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/Ay0zJHn.png or -> https://i.imgur.com/ZMgV9at.png
4. Clear all cache from your website, host and browser ( for browser use force refresh Ctrl Shift R ).
If there is still a problem, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible.
Let us know the results!

Then hit a save in the theme panel and then revert the code back to original, this will make the social icons appear properly again.

The fact that tagDiv Composer cannot edit posts is a huge fail for this theme. It’s as if this theme was half done. People will spend the most time on posts yet we have to use the default WP editor. This is an enormous fail and I would not have bought this theme if I’d known this earlier.
When trying to set up a blank footer template, there is no option to use the tag div composer. Or if it does appear, it will not save any work, or says content not created by tag div composer. Already deleted tag div composer and reinstalled, and shut off most plugins, did not help. Tag div composer did work at first. Have been at this for days for a fairly simple setup.

Hi I’m using the latest WordPress and Newspaper Version on several sites, status on all on green, but when I try to add “Text with title” Element via TagDiv Composer, I find no option to save the content. I tried it with Crome and Firebox. I’m able to open the editor (“Edit Content” button) and add content, but I can’t see any save button. Did I miss something or is there a bug hiding a save button?
I can confirm, that reinstalling tagDiv Composer solves this issue.

Please I need some help. I have been trying to get my index page look good but what I see while on the composer, isn’t what I get when I view it using another desktop browser. But when I open a post, I get the layout I had set-up on composer. I am using the Animal Magazine demo.

This is about translations with WPML.
I have two templates for single post and two for categories. After copying and translating, I was able to attach the first set to the category/post-templates that I wanted.
But I now cannot apply the second set. They are not shown in Theme Options and not in TD Composer as an option to select.

My Tag Div composer is also spinning, not loading, i’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and cleared the cache. So, yes I agree, my issue is different, but also includes the same issue as OP. Which is why I said same, but ALSO. Perhaps I could have been a little more clear. and I’ve submitted a ticket to support, so hopefully they respond and fix things, otherwise I’ll head back to Avada. 😀 thanks!

Within post content I see in dev tools that each of the contents paragraphs has <p style=”max-width:600px;> which I would like to see changed to max-width:92%, but no matter where I go and try it does not seem to want to do this, in the preview it looks fine in the composer when adding custom css “p {max-width:93%!important;}”, yet hit save, clear all cache and check on front end, no changes are to be seen and the text has still only got <p style=”max-width:600px;>, boss not happy says it looks very ugly, so hope there’s an easy fix, going to use different template not really an option.

Sorry to highjack this thread but the same thing happened to me. I’ve followed every single step and there is no change. Composer keeps trying to load infinitely and nothing happens.

When I use channel id url in tagdiv composer I can see a number of suscribers but this number is not actual.

I try to copy the referent id of concact form (es. [contact-form-7 id=”24578″ title=”Form”] in the page.
Click the button TAG DIV COMPOSER.
In this moment I view my concact form, when click the button SAVE (in TAG DIV COMPOSER) on the top right, the tagDiv composer delete my referent id of my concact form.

Hi, my site updated today to WP5.5 and now the slide module at thop of home page is broken, but only when viewed on mobile. (I’m not using the mobile theme). Looks fine on desktop.
I went into composer and replaced the slide, but no effect.
What’s happening and how do I fix it? See screenshot.

Clear browser cache (after all other steps) does work.
But it is quite unstable. After a while cache has to be cleared again.
So in essence, there actually is a problem with TD Composer in WP 5.5. that has to be addressed.
Hi JINDRICH, please note that tagDiv Composer is a builder you can use it to build pages and cloud templates, you can not set post content with it, this need to be made using the editor from WordPress.

That is because you are using the mobile theme plugin and the example that you provide is from a page. Using the mobile theme plugin, you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders or shortcodes ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme, also the mobile theme will not display any sidebar)

The pagination is only on latest articles option from page template or if you are using a posts loop, now the post loop can be edited using tagDiv Composer and you can change the pagination -> https://i.imgur.com/dE2Csxk.png this can be done on categories too if you are using cloud templates.
Unfortunately this is only way to remove the pagination an use something that will slowing down less the site.

Hi, is look that this is not working on your website correctly even in chrome. I just checked again on my install an for me is working, please try the follow steps:

3. Reinstall tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/Ay0zJHn.png or -> https://i.imgur.com/ZMgV9at.png
4. Clear all cache from your website, host and browser ( for browser use force refresh Ctrl Shift R ).
If the problem persist, please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins (theme plugins), also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

You can also try different browser. It’s working fine on Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
