I have tried to insert this in my column title:
<h1 id=”anchortest”>Titre</h1>
and it works fine using: https://mywebsite.com/#test
But I loose the font style of my text as my code seems to override the css of the block and that is something I would really like to preserve.
It would be nice to have a proper way to set up Anchor links accessible from different pages that are properly integrated for SEO.

Hello there!I just bought your Newspaper template. I have used the same template on other site which I modified and personalized (https://2egundopiso.com/).Now, I am interested in copying the settings, pages and personalization including CSS that I created for https://2egundopiso.com/ and import them to my new site.Is there a way to make this process (saving pages, templates, export and import them) easier instead of copying everything manually?Thank you!
I am curious about the difference between Horizontal align under the Layout tab in the first picture and H.align under the Css tab in the second picture.
In the case of the logo of the image we are sending you, as in the second picture, centering H.Align does not work, and you have to change the Layout to Row in the Layout tab and then set Horizontal align to the center to align it. I wonder why.
Hi there guys – I’m a first time user of Newspaper and I’m beginning to get to grips with just how powerful the system is that you’ve created.
I have a query for you on the WordPress Editor – when you’re creating posts. It seems that there’s a stylesheet change applied to the editor and I’m trying to locate how, all of a sudden, blockquotes have turned to blue and CAPS.
This is the current editor with Newspaper theme enabled (link to imgurl).
This is the original editor, which I find a lot easier to compose in – because there’s no huge blue capitalized writing! (link to imgurl)
Do you have any ideas how I can reset/change the styles for this?
Thanks!
Hi, I’m using Newspaper by tagdiv because it’s a super powerful theme that allows you to make whatever kind of website you want, to customize it as you want.
Because the technical part of a website is very important in indexing in google news and discover, I want to ask some questions to the owners of websites (and tag div teams) that use newspapers and are successful in google news and discover.
1. What seo plugin do you use? I oscillate between Yoast SEO and Rank Math. (PRO Variant)
2. What type of structured data do you use? Article/NewsArticle/BlogPost, etc.
3. What speed optimization plugins do you use without disturbing the way google bot or visitors access the site? (Sometimes delaying the js, combining or optimizing the css can improve the page score in web vitals, but google or the visitors will suffer, so the site will also decrease in traffic + exposure)
4. What blocks do you use? For example, it could be a ranking factor in google news and discover the way we choose to present our content on the website, and the newspaper tag div has a lot of blocks, which do you use and do you get the best results?
5. What other plugins or elements do you use in single post and do they help you?
For example, I try to offer a great deal of transparency, we have details about the author, the date the article was written and much more.
The site I am talking about is https://mobilehub.ro/ and we are trying to optimize it very well.
Since I installed Newspaper, we have noticed a small decrease in the occurrences in google news and discover (screen from gsc), so any advice or example to follow would be good for me because with this theme I am sure I can solve certain problems.
If anyone is interested in helping me, can they visit the site, analyze it and tell me what needs to be improved?
Have a nice day and thank you!
Hello,
There is an option to optimize the CSS and js, and I think this refers to the theme.
There are many optimization guides provided by our users here in the forum, some made by us; you could check some of them

Hello,
So, if you want to display for one version, you can hide the element in the tab CSS -> https://i.imgur.com/GKIKvgt.pngplease make sure that is displayed in at least one version.
Thank you!
From WPBakery to tagDiv Composer
tagDiv Composer is the first-page builder ever created for blogs, news and magazine websites. Designed to help you be more creative and more efficient, tagDiv Composer allows you to build, edit and shape your pages right on the front end, easier than ever.
We developed it from scratch to give you the best performance while making the transition from WPBakery Page Builder plugin as smooth as possible.
How to move your pages to tagDiv Composer:
Step 1 – Install both the WPBakery Page Builder and tagDiv Composer plugins.
Step 2 – The page has to be recreated using the new page builder. You will have to build a new page and edit it with the tagDiv Composer replicating your original page (made with WPBakery Page Builder).
Step 3 – Save the page. Replace your homepage with the newly created one. You can always revert to the original page if you encounter any problems.
Step 4 – Disable WPBakery Page Builder as it is not recommended to keep both plugins active.
Important Note: Do not use both page builders on the same page!
Why should you use tagDiv Composer?
We strongly recommend you to use tagDiv Composer with Newspaper. Why? First of all because it is developed especially for this theme. For us, this is the only way to provide you and your audience with an amazing experience.
Most multipurpose page builders are very hard to optimize for a niche website like a blog or a news magazine. However, these plugins will bring needless components and compromise the performance of your website. To save you from the hassle, we have a built tagDiv Composer, an excellent tool designed to make your life easier!
Our team is constantly searching for a new way to make online publishing on WordPress even easier. The new features, innovations, and improvements will be implemented exclusively on tagDiv Composer. We believe this will become an essential instrument for any kind of website.
What’s different?
The most obvious difference is that tagDiv Composer runs integrally on the front end. We opted to develop and implement our own frontend page editor. This allowed us to optimize the speed, the user interface and the features to work seamlessly with the Newspaper theme.
To make the transition easier for you, we built our shortcode parser, and we use the same shortcodes as WPBakery Page Builder for all the custom blocks, big grids, rows, and columns. The differences come from the shortcode attributes. For example, we have implemented an easier and totally different way to use the CSS box than in WPBakery Page Builder.
We advise you to use only one of the page builders to create a page. If you try to use the two builders on the same page, this is what may happen:
Any shortcode attributes that are different will be lost when the page is saved (for example row background, CSS box style, and others)
tagDiv Composer will strip all WPBakery Page Builder specific shortcodes like the buttons, media grid, and tabs.
WPBakery Page Builder cannot load our custom attributes like the CSS box and backgrounds. -> https://i.imgur.com/nV1XK36.png
What’s improved?
All the blocks are mapped the same way in both plugins. This means that custom components have the same shortcodes regardless of the builder you are using.
We have spent a considerable amount of time designing the user interface for tagDiv Composer. We refined every detail to create an intuitive interface. With this builder, a new user can create a page in minutes without reading the documentation or tutorials. -> https://i.imgur.com/iwDK1uP.png
Thank you!
Thanks Calin, those are good advices. Actually I’m satisfied with the loading speed having done a very good job of optimizing on-page, now I’m just looking for a lightweight plugin to minify a couple of .js and a couple of .css , nomore, that would be a way to …break through the sound barrier. Ciao, thank you, I wish you well.

Can you show me how to clear the inner rows so I can have a clean home page ?
Thanks in advanced.
Hi iasgharalikhan,
I tested your website using the lighthouse and on a desktop, this looks good – https://i.imgur.com/6eXmrOu.png indeed on mobile the results are a little lower but also good – https://i.imgur.com/Wj7NC9z.png
What I can suggest is to use a cache plugin and possibly a plugin for css and javascript minification, you can try our guide from here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
I hope this will help you!
Hello @muterobert !
We have some settings for the rows and different stretch sizes: https://www.screencast.com/t/bsbB5P97A
There are also settings in order to align it as you like: https://prnt.sc/fOa7vmeNIRM9 -> https://prnt.sc/sCTH-2wkYD7Q
Please check in the CSS tab, if you do not have any value there: https://prnt.sc/Jd72chioJZGe
Thank you!
Sorry if I get hooked to old message, but I think I’m on the subject and it will interests many: if you really were under torture by the Pirates of the Caribbean, which plugin would you recommend to minify css and js to do as less damage as possible to the theme?
Thank you, an hug
M.
Please check the screenshot
https://pasteboard.co/KV48lDbbj10A.png and I have added this CSS code on my custom CSS section for now.
.tdb_single_post_views {
display: none !important;
}
but still, while the post is loading the count is showing and disappears once loaded. I don’t know what’s wrong with the theme or it’s function on site.
Please help me resolve this issue.
This is a new blank page. I’ve added a row and used the Width option in the tagdiv’s CSS tab to increase the width to 1260 width. The column expands but it seems the row does not, this also causes the column to not stay centered on the page. How can I keep the row/column centered?

Hi,
We have shortcode to display single post tags, categories, and custom taxonomies. It would be great to have a shortcode that can display all the taxonomies(including custom taxonomies) in one place by putting comma separated values. For example, a shortcode that takes the following values, categories, post_tags, custom-taxonomy-1, custom-taxonomy-2 and display all of them in one place skipping the taxonomy that is not used for the article.
If you think that’s enough for you to know, you can skip the rest of the post. But if you want to know why I made this request, please continue reading.
The reason is that tags in wordpress are painfully disorganized.
Suppose you have a tech blog. The categories are
- OS(subcategories(Linux, Windows, Mac, etc));
- Programming(subcategories(software dev, web dev, AI, etc));
- Sysadmin(subcategories(security, performance, monitoring, etc));
Everything’s sweet upto this point.
Now, tags come into play…Suppose we have these tags:
js, css, python, c#, commands, cloud, database, dns, networking, firewalls, mathematics, algorithm, scaling, infrastructure, servers, ubuntu, debian, fedora, css, html, responsive web design, apache, nginx, litespeed, oop, mysql, response time, jobs, remote work, visualstudio, support, updates, disaster management, testing, training, etc.
You can see there is no organization among tags. But there is a pattern, some tags are programming languages, some are OS, some are web servers, some are performance related. One can argue as to why not use them as sub-sub categories for organization? But a job tag could be placed in a lot of categories and so could be python and a lot of others. Moreover, a tag is open and free of relations and hierarchy. Also tags could be thousands in numbers, categories shouldn’t be.
But this is not the main issue because everthing can be solved with the help of custom taxonomies using a plugin.
Following custom taxonomies can be created:-
Tag Programming Language— js, c++, python, c#, java, swift, php, html, css, c and a lot more
Tag Work— Job, workplace, remote work, team management, salary, interview prepration, etc
Tag Software— VS code, notepade++, putty, virtualmin, termius, cyberduck, etc
Tag Infotech— dns, networking, infrastructure, clustering, cloud computing, scaling, firewalls, scripting, nginx, and a
hundred more.
This type of organization is not possible with categories. Firstly because the above organization is not hierarchical, secondly there’s no stress of numbers. They can be in thousands. Thirdly, they don’t share any exclusive relationship to their parent.
You might ask why I want this. User experience. That’s all.
For example, I can make separate section for different types of taxonomies for users to see. A section for softwares, a section for infotech, a section for programming languages, etc, or put softwares, infotech or programming languages in the header menu along with the categories. Imagine seeing a section displaying hundreds of tags on a website on a single page. That would a disaster. Pure chaos. But with custom taxonomy I can achive this.
Now the problem is everything is ready. I have four different type of custom taxonomy. I write an article that requires these tags— job, python, cloud, termius. But, as seen above, these are all different taxonomies(not tags).
To display them on my article, I have to use four different custom taxonomy shortcodes and put each taxonomy in each shortcode setting. These would occupy four horizontal lines(a lot of space, and will look ugly).
It would make the job a lot easier if just one shortcode could do this job. Like putting work, infotech, programming language, softwares, etc in the shortcode will show all the taxonomy terms at one place like tags. And if a term is put in shortcode but is not used in article, it won’t appear. Because you don’t know which taxonomy would be used on which article because it’s a global template. So you put all of them and the unused ones are not shown.
All you would have to do is create a shortcode that is able to accept multiple types of taxonomies and display them in one row(inline) and discard the taxonomy types that are not used even if they are in shortcode.
Thanks.
If you want, I can share examples.
Thank you, I have the close button enabled. I would additionally like to dismiss the modal via the escape key as this is typical best-practice web navigation behavior seen across many major websites.
If this isn’t possible to add via CSS or otherwise, I would like to relay my feedback for this to be included in a future update to the Modal Popup.
Because one of my category templates is a theme template (instead of a cloud template) I can’t edit it with tagDiv and easily view/adjust it to the four available viewports (Desktop, Landscape, Portrait and Phone).
What should I do to discriminate by code the different viewports and adjust the css styles without tagDiv?
Hello,
So, yes, you can use the tabbed content to achieve your desired design. For the counter of the posts, you need to add an extra class on the blocks -> https://i.imgur.com/cOABEZT.png and use this code css-> .td-numbered-post-flex .td_block_inner {
counter-reset: section;
}
.td-numbered-post-flex .td_block_inner .td_module_flex_1::before {
counter-increment: section;
content: counter(section);
color: red;
border-radius: 50%;
font-family: Playfair Display;
font-weight: 600;
font-size: 40px;
display: inline-flex;
position: absolute;
margin: 0 20px 0 0;
}
You can set the code in Raw CSS and adjust it.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please let me know what a prebuilt website is, I see that you use a demo that has a custom code CSS for totop button.
Thank you!
Hello @f5guru !
That is a block from the homepage, I guess.
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Unfortunately, you cannot customize the elements with the TagDiv Composer if you use the Mobile theme plugin. Maybe with a custom CSS: https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
If you want to use the responsive version or a mobile page as described above at points 1 and 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!
Hi,
Yes, you can use a css like this one:
.td-header-menu-wrap{ display: none; }
This code needs to be set in the theme panel > custom code> advance css > phone – https://i.imgur.com/XU2OTKg.png
I hope this will help you!
Hi Guys, I’m experiencing a few issues having recently upgraded from WordPress 5.2.3, Newspaper 8.7.3, and tagDiv Composer 2.2, to WordPress 6.1.1, Newspaper 12.3, and tagDiv Composer 3.9.
For any pages created with tagDiv Composer 2.2, I can edit ‘Row’ and ‘Column’ settings, but I can’t edit ‘Element’ settings because the options panel doesn’t load, it simply shows the ‘Welcome to tagDiv Composer’ screen with the ‘Add Element’ or ‘Load Template’ and ‘Website Manager’.
If I add a new row, and a new element, the settings panel has CSS issues – all of the control panel stylings seem to be broken, and even the ‘Save’, ‘View’, and ‘Close’ icons aren’t visible.

Do I need to recreate all the pages using 3.9?
Could it be because of the lack of [tdc_zone type=”tdc_content”][/tdc_zone] at the start and end of my page content?
Thanks
Matt
Hi,
I use the default post template and I have no extra css code.
Hello!
For me, it works the same with these settings: https://prnt.sc/ovllxNIxpKPe
Which settings have you applied to your content? Do you have some extra CSS code?
Thank you!
