The styling by default will apply only when the demo is installed. When a demo is installed a particular class is added to the body of the website, in this case td-erotic. Since you did not install the demo, that class is not present.
The solution is to either add it to the body in the theme panel, after copying the code you mention

The theme width itself is fixed, it cannot be changed on the whole website. It is predefined in the theme’s stylesheet. You could set a background image or color if you want

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. For minifying this file, we are using CloudFlare for our demo and works fine. The features menu is not part of the theme. It is a menu created by us to highlight the theme elements. It will not be installed along with the theme. You can create any design for your shop page using our theme and make it a shop page: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-pages/
The shop page does not come with the demo or the theme.

The Latest articles pagination cannot be changed. You could disable this section, by selecting a different page template

Without using a sidebar the post width will be the full width of the theme, there is no theme option to make it larger than that. You can see all the available post template styles here (please check the Features menu->Post templates)
