But it looks like it’s not being applied to the theme’s javascript, and also when I have the rec’m settings for the rec’m WP super cache plugin, it keeps it refreshed to often (every 24 hrs). But even with the plugin disabled, it’s not caching it long enough like the htaccess code is saying. Any solution to this? Thanks!

The demo is a simple skin for the theme. The dummy data was set in a particular way on each demo but it is not “part of the demo” itself. You can recreate the dummy data on your own end, but it is a simple example, not a template or pattern of any kind. If you want to replicate it, then that is the way to go, use a dummy install and install the demo data and then copy and paste the shortcodes. We never meant the demos to be used just as we present them. It is a skin, You can use it on any layout of your choice. We did not add this feature as you can easily install the dummy data, copy the content and then paste it on another page and then simply remove the dummy data. It’s that easy.

If you take a look at this website of mine, you will notice it runs on the newsmag theme.
I have installed the sport demo without the content. But as you can see, there is a difference of hell and heaven between this and this.
Please help Catallin. I’m just unable to use this amazing theme of yours.

First of all, I will thank you for your interests in our theme. All you should have to do is to install only the demo (without content) and then you have to create your own posts and pages content after the demo content. Please notice that if you have installed a CAR NEWS demo, for example, without content, it is exactly the same thing with the demo with content. I know that it is a bit of hard to create from scratch your website than starting from some existing. Keep in mind that it is just a similar layout. As a hint, you should install the demo with content and then, you have to create your own posts from scratch and do not edit the existing ones because if you will disable the demo, all the edited contents will be lost.

I just purchased a domain from godaddy and the website is live.
However, newsmag theme isn’t uploaded yet. Can you tell me how do i get a website exactly similar to the one in the demo.
I followed this link and tried to install without the demo content but the website is not exactly as shown in the demo. (i tried this in another website, not the one i’m talking about)
This is my new website.
You can see that its just installed without a single post except the default ones. Please tell me as to how should i go about to make the website a complete replica of a demo.
1) Should i post articles first?
2) Should i upload the theme?
For all the demos/templates, a home ‘page’ is created for the layout.
Unless you install the demo data (vs settings), the layout for the home page are not created.
Hence, you have to manually create this. Without a base reference, it is basically trial and error.
I overcame this by creating a dev setup with the demo data installed. Then use this a reference to ‘recreate’ the home page layout.
(An easy fix may be a screen shot the of home ‘page’ layout for each of the demos in the doc)

Note: I installed the demo with content switched off – just settings. So I assume the layout is probably not part of default.
Any info on the actual layout? For example, I figured out the first section is Big Grid 4. But are there any doc or import, so I don’t have to recreate this?

I have inspected your website and I saw that you have many errors in your console, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/z8ZyxllV Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. If the problem is still there, please make a new clean install from scratch and install the theme via FTP method because this is the surest way in this regard. The slider gallery works just fine on our end: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-aston-villa-beat-liverpool-to-join-arsenal-in-the-fa-cup-final/ If yours does not work like the on on our demo, then you probably have a js error affecting it. Please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then test again. Also switch to the main theme if you use a child theme in order to rule out it;s interference. Please also disable any js optimization as well.
As for the second issue, it has since been fixed. You can access the forum now without any issues.

Unfortunately, I do not exactly understand what you mean. So, if you want to use the Block 18 on the entire width of the site, you should disable the sidebar and the Block 18 will cover all of this. here you can see the behaviour of our blocks, like this -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-18/

1-On a sample groups page, group admins font size is too big, i couldn’t change it via css or php.

2- On every buddy press page (Groups, Members etc), the search bar (I mean Search Groups, Search Members area) and button on the right top area doesn’t view properly. The Search button goes to the second row. On your demo it views good.

The Sports DEMO has a margin of almost 50px. I’m using the exact same Header, Footer and plugIn and the Margin is of almost 120.

For some strange reason I can’t figure out, it will not work. I have the shop page (editor shows no content). It shows 4 products (and sidebar). So I made a new page called store and copied the code from your demo in it. Nothing shows up except those 4 products. It’s like it’s not paying attention to what’s the the content area of the page editor at all. Completely ignoring it.
