Hello almostserious,

Unfortunately, this error could come from a big number of problems. I believe it happens due to a server configuration which is not responding, it could be due to a delay or it could also be a temporary issue so you can try this a few times and if you still get this error please contact your host provider and let him know about this, ask them to unblock our demo in order to retrieve the theme data. It could also happen due to your wp install or other plugins might also cause this. Also, make sure that your permission for the upload folder is set correct. You can check this by trying to upload an image in the media library. If the process succeeds then the permission is okay. If not you can use the c-panel to change permissions (set them to 777) or if you do not have access to the Cpanel, please contact your hosting provider.

If you still cannot install the demo, please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can take a look. Please also provide a link to this topic.

Hello richardfromnyc,

Please notice that all your customizations which you have made into your side were registered in your database. You can install the demo without content because your posts and pages will appear there. If you want to load the demo with content, you will have your old content and the demo content included in the package, together.

Please ensure that you have followed all the steps which are presented in our demo tutorials here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-woo-invoice-plugin/ Also, I have checked your website and I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins which can interact with the theme and the plugins and could cause some unknown issues. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
For your second request, please provide the exact link where is located that button so I can inspect it closer and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

I can’t install any of the demos. I contacted my hosting site and the said the issue “is related to the some incompatibles with your Js codes.” I have no idea what that means. Please help!

If I have an existing site with posts and pages, is it better to install the demo without the content or with the content?

Will the demo use the existing posts and pages if installed without the demo content?

If I install a demo and the content, does it erase all of the pages and posts of an existing site?

I just want to make sure that my existing site does not disappear while implementing the newspaper theme.

if you hover over fashion or tech it has that nice drop down with images and all.. how do we achieve that?

Even currently with our drop down, when you hover.. no drop down comes. please help!

Multumim pentru interesul acordat temelor noastre. Mai jos am incercat sa explic in cateva cuvinte cae sunt diferentele majore intre aceste doua teme. Am formulat in Engleza deoarece acest forum este accesat de oameni din intreaga lume si poate fi de ajutor si pentru altii sa inteleaga aceste diferente.

We get often this question regarding the differences between our themes. I can tell you that the both themes share the same core so their functionality and performances are similar. The main differences are in designs/appearances and the content area width which slightly differs from one theme to another. Newspaper’s grid width is 1068px while Newsmag’s width is 1021px and the Newsmag’s theme grid has been designed to support the borders you notice between sections of a page: http://screencast.com/t/pNkgzN1Kn8Y5

Other differences are, also appear regarding features, some of the blocks are present on one and missing on the other, for example, you could check the Features menu items from each theme live demo and see blocks, modules, post templates… are present in each theme and the design differences ->> http://screencast.com/t/p87JJpieJd

The review system is made only for internal use. By this, I mean that only the post’s author can make a review. Also, there is no option to post comments on a review, sorry. They using pagespeed to deliver some JavaScripts and CSS only. I have tried adding pagespeed in .htaccess but it also delivers images (PNG, jpg, jpeg) too. So I just want to know to deliver only JavaScript and CSS

Hi Bogden we had to get Godaddy support to temporarily disable .htacess and the plugins to do a single install. This is being installed in a fresh install of WP with no other plugins. Godaddy advised that we contact you and as it will be an issue with the template that would be causing the installation issue/conflict of the demo’s.

Hi,
If you say it works without plugins, then maybe you have a plugin conflict. Please try to identify the plugin that causes this issue and remove/replace it. Unfortunately I’m not sure what alternative you are looking for. The demos can be installed from the theme panel. There is no other place to install them from and no other means.

Hi I have a problem instaling demos content on a hosted WordPress site with GoDaddy! It seems to work when you disable .htacess and all of the plugins. This is time-consuming to go from demo to demo is there a workaround or fix .

Hi I have a similar problem installing demos content on a hosted WordPress site with GoDaddy! It seems to work when you disable .htacess and all of the plugins. Unfortunately this is time consuming to go from demo to demo is their a woraround or fix .

I have checked your website and I saw that you are using the Block 17 feature. Unfortunately, as you can see, this is the standard style for this type of block and if you want to change the structure of this you have to alter the core file corresponding to block 17, in this case. We are very much enjoying working with this theme. Thank you.

How can we set the block title subcategory filters on the Home page? The posts appear in the correct category section, but the block title either displays all subcategories or no subcategory filter at all.

How can we set the block title sub-category filters so that they display only the subcategories associated with each category, more like the ThemeForest demo.

Social Networks- Settings - topic

Hello everyone,
I few month ago, I noticed that the settings panel for social networking had changed. For example, the number of facebook likes disappeared. The twitter figure remained. When I re-visited the documentation page (ref social counter settings), I realised that the screenshots in the demonstration was different from what I have in the theme panel. For example, in the documentation, I have several places to fill just to get the Facebook settings in. In my theme panel, all I have to do is insert the Facebook ID.

I uninstalled and re-installed the social counter plugin (version 3.1), to no avail.
I am using Newspaper 6.1

Has anyone experienced this before? How did you sort it out?
I will appreciate you support.

Please notice that this type of demo is custom made and if you want to achieve the same layout you have to make more additional customizations. You have to add the image in ROW from Visual Composer and then you have to turn on the stretch row, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/tIJtKvly50Hm

i wrote some questions down, which I now want to ask you.

1. How can I edit the sidebar in catogory?
2. How can I make the theme update full automatically?
3. How is the menu build? How cann I put in the different categories with posts in the menu nav? I do not know how to edit the mega menu. in wordpress -> design- -> menu it is not possible.
4. What is the difference betwenn mobile and retina mobile ? both are not working. although I put in pictures. Watch hier attach: http://abload.de/img/unbenanntczsyj.png

a) How can I set that background image? Why is it on my other site possible and at the newspaper site with visual composer it is not possible? Although the settings are the same?
b) How can i make that fluent transition? I tried it here, bur it is not possible.
