if I update the featured image size to 741 X 486, will your post template display the image in a such big form?
if so, it will be too big for the featured image.
how did you do for you demo page? how can I make it to be same as your demo?

The first 2 footer styles come with predefined demo content that cannot be removed from the theme panel. You will need to use another footer style (besides 1 and 2) and then the footer widgets will be empty.

Unfortunately the theme has no such option. You can edit each block to have a particular color and then filter a specific category like on our demo page: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ but anything beyond that will require custom work.

The sidebar on my homepage (using pagebuilder + latest articles + pagination) has disappeared. I have tried it with each of my different sidebars, yet nothing seems to populate on the homepage. It worked originally with the demo content, and when I added new sidebars it disappeared. Is this common?
Is there anyway to add the Top Menu to the Mobile Menu other then just adding the CSS from this post to unhide it? Is there no way to add it to the menu-mobile.php??

The Header Menu is there, could you just somehow add ‘td-demo-top-menu’ to that same “theme location”? I tried adding it next to ‘header-menu’ but that just broke the site. Adding the CSS the link above works, but it doesn’t look very good. I would rather not go that route if I didn’t have to.

The theme code was tested and optimized for best performance, we have a lot of clients and the theme works well on a large variety of hosts.
First, please make sure that you use the recommended server configuration for Newspaper theme, you can check our documentation for more details: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
There are lots of factors that influence the site’s page-sped. I suggest you first try this without any other plugins active, leave just VC plugin active the check again.
To improve your server response time you can try to reduce the number of queries (fewer plugins, fewer blocks on page, reduce the elements which use ajax requests/pagination like mega menus/load more/infinite load), also consider using a cache plugin, we recommend the WP super cache plugin with the following configuration: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
To improve the loading speed look the MySQL query cache: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/query-cache.html we also use it on our demo.
Also, you can use the speed booster to move the js and CSS at the bottom of the page, eliminate render-blocking, but not for all plugins. Check the System Status if the speed booster is active if you use other plugins than the tested ones. I have newspaper 6 and using the default demo. Having the same problem as everyone else with Facebook with no success but also have a question around demos. i am very much a newly so this may be a silly question.
Each section has a mini menu and I am struggling to see what drives these listings. I have modified categories and can see it reflected in the change of options. But I have set up the first block to filters for a single category which has no child categories yet it still has a mini menu option with other child categories

Please provide more details to what feature you want the title changed. The blocks can be named from block settings, the sidebar if it is created in visual composer can be changed from there as well or if it’s created in the widgets area you need to edit the names there: http://screencast.com/t/LcsYfxNWjBPz
If the footer section is the one you cannot change, then you will need to use an empty footer style as the demo content from footer style 1 and 2 cannot be edited. You can then add your own elements to the footer using the 3 footer widgets in the widgets area: https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/

It is not a good idea of removing a particular size as your website will be visited by other users that maybe have bigger displays than yours so for them, your website will not display very well.
If you want to make this modification, there is no easy way to do this as well. You need to edit the style.css file and adjust every element in there. (lots of work is required)
The theme should fit any content properly. If you compare your website with our demo site and find that some particular elements do not behave like the ones here: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ then most likely there is a problem that needs to be addressed.

My theme crops featured images vertically wrong for thumbs. It does not crop the middle part of the image. It takes the top part.
I regenerated the thumbnails, but it didnt fixed. I checked your demo, there is no problem. What cause this? This problem also exists in subdomains.

The demo content has 2 places where the social counter is specified. One is the widgets area: http://screencast.com/t/vz8UqIF3x and the second is the page itself. The sidebar on pages is set from visual composer :http://screencast.com/t/ewkhobJCld
You need to change both of these in order to get rid of the default social id’s.
