Category top post grid thumbnail images are not displayed correctly. (Homepage big grid is ok)
Thumbnails are to the top leaving a gap at the bottom.
I didn’t have anypost or post thumbnails before installing this theme. this was fresh site.

Was finalizing my new site last night when suddenly the homepage went black. I turned off the Visual Compser plugin and the posts came back but the layout wasn’t right. Nothing worked so I deleted and reinstalled the Newspaper theme and started all over again… I’m about done and now the boxes in the Backend Editor are gone and all it is is text. HELP!!! 🙂 Thanks!! This theme is really great and easy to use even if you don’t know nothing about code.
I have some questions.
– Visual composer doesn’t work on created post? Only for page? I want to use video on post (change size).
– I ve a lot english words to translate, they aren’t in newspaper panel. Where i have to go? -What is the more width size for picture in post? (without sidebar)
– For featured picture in post, I can’t have max width of template in 1900px x 700px? If use theses dimensions, i have bad result for blocks or mega menu.
– How can i remove youtube from social network on homepage ( i would like only facebook and twitter).

I was able to solve for the issue of the featured images not displaying on the homepage. Which was the image file size, and the Retina image thumbnail creation option. I also added the Regen Thumbnail plugin and this has solved my issues of images not rendering on iphone.
As for the HTTP error when uploading to the media library. I believe this has to do with the actual dimensions of the image if they are too large, but need to troubleshoot further. Any thoughts on what the HTTP error could be? I’ve found several threads where this seems to be a reoccurring issue with WP.

Our theme has the proper markup for the title as it is a h1 tag . There is no other markup needed for this error. Here is a description:
Title not found – this error is less common but occasionally an article template is coded in such a way that the editorial headline is not easily identifiable or even accessible to crawlers. Be sure to place your headlines in simple HTML text right at the top of the article body, in an H1 tag.
The markup is already there so you do not need to do anything extra. But google news should scan posts not the homage blocks. AA block does not have a post title. It renders an instance of it in a h3 element but posts are the ones that will have to be grabbed by google, not the homepage blocks.

Unfortunately, this is not a simple task to re-create the layout for a demo which is created with newspaper on the site which is using Newsmag theme, sorry! Please notice that this task involve time-consuming and we cannot provide support and assistance in this regard and please notice that you should do it yourself. As a hint, you can use the Inspector Browser to identify what type of elements were used in the Tech demo. Also, you can try to copy/paste the following code to your homepage and check the results -> http://pastebin.com/DTxF1ut4 This is the homepage layout for Tech demo. Please notice that it could be possible to need some additional customizations in order to achieve best results. If you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer.developer to help you!

If you use a static page, you can create a sidebar on pages using a split row or the widgetized sidebar element

Just got another question, In authors page posts sayd 0 whereas author has created many posts for a different post type. I used

I’ve compressed my image sizes so that they will load on mobile, and now one isn’t appearing on my homepage in desktop. I’m also having issues with an HTTP error when uploading images into the media server even though they are less than the memory limit.

I just launched my blog this week and the Featured images are not displaying on iPhone on the homepage.
They are displaying on Desktop and even the iPhone 7plus but not anything smaller.

I have set up and customised the homepage. It works fine on a desktop but I receive errors on the mobile platform (Android, Google Chrome). The errors are:

td_api_base::mark_used_on_page: a component with the ID: td_remote_cache is not set.

Missing parameter: ‘file’
Any ideas on how I can resolve this? The articles seem to display fine.

Sorry but we do not have a customization department. Here is a little help. I assume you are referring to the homepage layout of the black demo. Please do as follows:
1. Install the black demo without content: http://screencast.com/t/usORxIMiC3n
2. Create a new page in the WP admin dashboard.
3. Access classic mode and text mode like so: http://screencast.com/t/nkpWAHGOnW
4. Paste all of the content from this link into your page in text mode: http://pastebin.com/gw71YSyi
5. Save the page and set it as your homepage
Now you will have the exact demo layout without installing the dummy content.
