The demo doe not have any settings what to include or not. You can either install a demo with or without content. If you choose to install it with content, then all of the demo content will be installed on your site.
Can you please describe what exactly is missing?

1. I have installed desired demo. Before install I selected to install WITH NO content, however all content installed itself anyway. I don’t want to have any content as I want to have my own.

2. I would like to keep whatever I set up in this demo (with my content) and I don’t want to loose those settings and customization. What would happen if I want to try different demo? Will I lose that all after installing any other one?
3. Is it possible to have all settings and customization made in demo permanent? Exactly the same as in demo but without installing it, so it cannot be uninstalled?
4. I have noticed styles.css included in version 7.8 child theme has version 7.7c. Is that ok?

I have the following questions:
1. Does this template allow a full width [width of the site] banner at the top of the website? If yes, how do we set it to? We are only finding a way to use a logo.
2. What size should logo be and if yes on banner, what size should the banner be please?
3. I am trying to update the WPBakery Visual Composer plugin. I have version Version 4.12.1 installed. I am been asked to update the plugin to version 5.0.1 ($34 cost) Do I need to do this?

Hi All,
My blog has click-jacked. 50% of my clicks were going to some external website. I wasn’t sure if it was something to do with the theme, some plugin or older version of WP.
I decided to delete all themes, remove unnecessary plugins and do a fresh install of all required plugins and themes.
In the process, I deleted NewsPaper theme as well. Now I’m trying to install the latest version of Newspaper, after having installed clean wordpress and testing it for 4 weeks.
However, I’m unable to do a clean NP install. My previous setting still persists. I had deleted Newspaper folder completely and uploaded fresh package. Still older version shows up.
Any idea how I can ‘clean’ older customized version of Newspaper and install a clean package ?

I just installed the newsmag theme and I see for post, I can choose multiple categories and Primary category which would displayed only in post thumbnail.
What I would like to have is the ability to display all categories for the post on top of thumbnail, is it possible via theme settings? or I have to change code, if so, what’s the suggestion?

This should not happen at any time, not to mention when you change the header style. The theme is tested and the demo functionality works properly. In your case something went wrong, be it a plugin conflict, or maybe custom code entered in theme panel, or added to the theme files.

From what I can tell, my system meets all of the required specs and I am running the most recent versions of WordPress, Newspaper Theme, and Visual Composer.
All required plugins are installed and activated (Visual Composer). No other optional plugins are active.
Again, problem is instantly solved by changing to the 2016 theme and instantly resumes if I change back to the Newspaper theme.
It doesn’t appear to matter how I embed the social media post. If I use the embed shortcode or if I just drop in the URL as per the WordPress Embed codex.
This is kind of a big problem for us as the site relies heavily on social media posts.
If I had to guess, the Newspaper theme is running a filter or action on the embeds. I believe this is true based on what I have read in other posts in the forum. My guess is, something in that filter or action is timing out on some social media posts or is failing to recognize the formatting of some URLs and not others (less likely.)
So my questions are.
1) Does the Newspaper theme run a filter or action on embeds or in any way interact with embedded media?
2) If so, where is that code located in the theme?
3) Do you recognize that this is a theme issue and not a plugin / social media issue (since the problem only occurs with the theme activated)?

If you are having problems with the images on your website, I suggest you disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching you have installed and check again, because a plugin is almost always responsible for image problems.

Please read my question. I installed demo content fine and am not using it as my sites content. I said some is missing and I would like it, the FEATURES drop down on your default demo has a lot of useful content. It helps as a guide to see how you did something. It seems all your website in not functioning properly. Please try to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching installed and switch to the main theme if you have a child theme active. Also check any custom code you might have entered in theme panel, or added to the theme files. If the issue is still present, I suggest you try a fresh theme install – https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ using only the plugins bundled with the theme and no child theme, to see if it displays as intended.

Pleas try clearing the cache after the ajax view count activation. You could also check the cache plugin configuration, maybe there is a setting you may have overlooked and is interfering with this function. If it is an intermittent problem, meaning that sometimes they work and in some situations does not, it could be a plugin that is causing this. You can try disabling all your plugins, except the ones bundled with the theme and check to see if the issue persists. However we do not recommend editing the demo content and using it as your own as it will get removed when uninstalling or changing demos. You can install the demo content and copy the page layout on a newly created page and then uninstall the dummy data. The demo content is not meant top be edited and used as your site’s content.

I’m not sure what this means though, Do you have a multi-language installed and one language is Chinese? The solution provided above does not add any language to your site. It simply allows the site to receive fonts properly when other resources are loaded from different platforms like cdn or https or another version of your site www or non www.
It has nothing to do with your content language.
