Pentru a avea tema Travel, trebuie sa instalati continutul demo ce vine cu tema Travel, din sectiunea noastra “Install demos” -> http://screencast.com/t/6vkXPA6SsV Trebuie doar sa apasati Install…continutul Default se va dezinstala automat iar peste el va fi continutul temei Travel. Toate modificarile si customizarile care le-ati avut pe tema Default, au fost salvate in baza dumneavoastra de date si ele se vor vedea pe tema Travel, in cazul nostru. De mentionat este faptul ca dupa ce ati facut aceasta mutare, este necesar de cateva customizari care vor trebui facute pentru a adapta continutul dumneavoastra la tema noua.

Unfortunately, you cannot use 2 templates at the same time. Each of template (demo content) has a different style. If you want to have the same design with travel demo, for instance, you have to do some customization in order to achieve this design.

This is the simplest solution of recreating the travel demo homepage on another demo. This cannot be done without the custom classes used by this demo.
Please follow these simple steps to recreate the travel demo homepage with another demo installed:

1) This is the shortcode of the page layout. You can simply paste it inside your page editor in classic mode and text mode: http://screencast.com/t/SUt9ItUc the code: http://pastebin.com/RAA6DkWp

2) The background image will not be found so you will need to add your own image in the row setting: http://screencast.com/t/yB2Bh0rbo

3) This is the final and most important step as the CSS for the travel homepage will not apply without this step. Please add this class: td-travel to the body of the website like so: http://screencast.com/t/fOt9sfquQtVy

Normally the Envato policy allows using a theme only on one install. You can, however, use the theme on a sub-domain if you plan on creating a testing site, but if we are talking about totally different sites with different content, then only one theme per install is legally allowed: http://screencast.com/t/NqzloVgyUJB. In your case, it’s about two different domains and you have to buy our theme again. Unfortunately, there is no discount for your second buying.

Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. It is necessary to do this because some untested plugins that you are using can cause some interference between them and our theme and can produce these errors on some devices. Also, please try this feature from our demo preview -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-slide/ and see that are works fine and this kind of issue does not come from the theme.

I have tested on my side and everything seems to work as expected. This kind of issues may be temporary…and might be caused by conflicting plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the interference between untested plugins. You have access to our new updates without any paying. Before to update your theme to the latest version, you have to know these informations.

If your ultimate update was from 4.X to 6.X, unfortunately, you lose all changes. Newspaper 6 is a whole new theme so an update from 4 to 6 may cause the same issues as switching to another theme (but we did try to maintain compatibility where ever possible).

Always make a full backup of your current installation – https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups and then do a clean update, meaning that we recommend that you delete the old version of the theme before uploading the new one – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ update also the plugins that come bundled with the theme files from the /plugins folder. In the “how to update” guide is specified that you will have to run the script that will import from database your settings.

The shortcodes have been changed so old ones will not work anymore. Please note that old files customization or custom CSS will not work with the new version and you will have to adjust or re-add them.

Bottom line is that newspaper 6 is a whole new theme built from scratch.
Unfortunately, you will have to clear your agenda and spare a bit of time to adjust all your settings to the new version of the theme.

If you have already Newspaper 6 and you want only to do the update to latest version, you should make this without any problem. All your customization are recorded in the database which is not affected by this update.
