Hello!
When you use Mobile theme + AMP or AMP, then you will have the settings there: https://prnt.sc/KfpBlGorH-gN
Thank you!
The theme has a built in mobile site but on our news site the mobile site lists the latest articles I need to put that in italian, when i load the italian language it doesn’t change the mobile text in english where can I change it?
I saw also you can download a mobile theme, can those be edited like the normal template can? If so how can you install the mobile template? thanks tony
Hello!
We have 3 options of mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates/design for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
You can choose to use which one is more affordable and useful for you.
In order to display your mobile pages or the responsive version, please deactivate the Mobile Theme plugin.
Thank you!
The Menu icon of AMP removed when Mobile theme is active and when mobile theme is removed AMP icon and option arrives… So when mobile theme active AMP is not working…
Normal Page: https://haberton.com/golfte-heyecan-suruyor/
AMP Page should be: https://haberton.com/golfte-heyecan-suruyor/?amp=1
but AMP page redirects to normal page…
Can you check pls…
Hi Calin,
1. Yes, that’s correct, we want to use both the mobile theme plugin and the responsive version (for a few key pages).
However, the problem is that we are turning that off and on.
If we have it switched on (blue showing) it uses the mobile theme and doesn’t load any assets.
If we have it switched off (white showing) our website is displaying incorrectly since the update (a weird header at the top, a huge amount of white space that takes up an entire mobile phone screen, and then the page loads.
Please see this page on desktop: https://dutchreview.com/dutchreview-team/internships/editorial-internship/
And a screen recording of the same page on mobile: https://share.icloud.com/photos/0f8FaOspRfzgwSSp7kA-AxoqQ
These pages used to display correctly and it is only after updating that they are not working.
2. The mobile theme is deactivated for those pages but the huge gap at the top and the lack of responsiveness are persisting. This worked prior to the most recent update.
3. No, the new update does not fix it. We are up to date and the problem persists. Screenshot: https://jmp.sh/jdxE2lM
Best,
Sam
I have lost the preset theme for the mobile layout. I have tried to install another layout and then re install the theme I want but the mobile layout won’t return?!
Please help!
Hi,
1. So do you want to use both, mobile theme plugin and responsive version?
If is so, then yes, you can use the enable/disable option -> https://jumpshare.com/v/l3GBkXGzVTNaYdiqNQgW that should be set on off.
If you do not want to use the mobile theme plugin, then just please disable it.
2. It looks that on the links that were provided the mobile theme is apply on each of them, but if you disable the mobile theme from them and the cache is all cleared, then the problem should be resolved. When you are logged in it is disapplied the right version?
3. Maybe the new update will fix the problem, for this, please make a full backup and only after that update the theme.
Thank you!

For a different mobile homepage, I suggest you to use option 2, mobile pages.
Please make sure this is not a plugin conflict or a cache issue.
Thank you!
Hi fahadumar,
First, I want to make sure that I was able to inform you of all data about the mobile versions that our theme can have.
1. Responsive version, this is by default when you install the theme and you do not use mobile page or mobile theme plugin.
2. Mobile page/template this allows you to create with tagDiv Composer and cloud a different layout and set different elements for mobile and iPad/tablet and it will overwrite the responsive version.
3. Mobile theme plugin, this is a light theme version for mobile that will overwrite the mobile page and responsive version if enabled.
So when you have a mobile page/template this will be used instead of a responsive version, but if you also have the mobile theme enabled, this one will override both of them.
How to combine them? Yes, this can be possible, for example the mobile page/template will apply only on that page or cloud template that is assigned. But what to do if you want to use a mobile theme plugin too? If you use mobile theme, in Gutenberg editor it is an option to disable the mobile theme in current post/page, if you use the option, then it will be use the mobile page/template (if is assigned) or the responsive version.
So in your case you can disable the mobile theme on the homepage -> https://i.imgur.com/NX57q4t.png or if you do not want it at all, disable the plugin or use it only for amp -> https://i.imgur.com/Grlz5Ee.png.
Here is also a video that explains all those -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Hope this will help you!
Thank you

I can see that you use the third option: Mobile Theme(theme panel), but you created also mobile pages. In order to display your mobile pages, deactivate the Mobile Theme plugin.
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately I did not find a post that would be blocked with the locker, can you please provide a link to one?
Also, I see that you are using the mobile theme plugin, please disable it and the the responsive version will be applied on mobile, then should be no problems with the posts that are locked.
The exclusive text can be changed from the theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/C2TXK8p.png also, it can be set per block with tagDiv Composer, select the block and search for exclusive -> https://i.imgur.com/DtAwQGA.png
Thank you!
I understand what you mean.
Our theme offers two possibilities, the mobile menu (where the menu that it is opened can not be edited to have the layout that you want, you can only set socials and menu elements) and the popup modal, this allow you to set a page as menu (you can create the page like you want and assign it in the popup modal, then when you click on that popup modal, then that menu (custom page) will be open.
Thank you!
Hi,
That view is from the mobile theme plugin, when you are using it you’ll need to make sure that your cache plugin has a mobile support (has de possibility to select the right cache that should be delivered). For this we recommend WP Super Cache this plugin has mobile support -> https://i.imgur.com/bAujS5w.png
Another alternative is to disable the mobile theme plugin.
I hope this will help you!
Hey TagDiv team,
1. After updating to 11.4.2 last week our custom mobile homepage is no longer displaying.
I have read through the documentation and the previous posts and can confirm that the “Disable mobile theme” setting is turned on: https://jmp.sh/06VjFc7
I have also cleared our cache. Can you please assist?
Two other small enquiries:
2. Some of our pages that were previously displaying responsively on mobile are not anymore (one displays but there is a large gap at the top and many of the images are out of proportion, and the other two load an empty page). The first doesn’t have mobile theme disabled and the other two do. When I view these pages on desktop using Inspect and scale them for mobile devices they scale perfectly.

3. I enquired recently about why we couldn’t see headers when working in the Block Editor after the latest WP update. These are semi-fixed (they show as a different font) but still appear very small. Is there a way to fix these so that they appear closer to WYSIWYG yet?
Thanks in advance!
I have a problem with the mobile version.
1. Mobile theme plugin is not working and I can not create a different mobile homepage. I had to disable the plugin.
2. The mobile logo does not work with or without plugin. Clicking on it opens a picture instead of homepage.
Dear,
I have serious problem with my website about the mobile version.

Note: I don’t want AMP, just the mobile version I created.
Hi,
I am having issues with the Mobile Theme / AMP.
I have activated both plugins and for the mobile page I have copied the content from the desktop version but the issue is when I go to edit from the backend I can see all the contents there for the mobile version but I am not seeing any content on the frontend.
Here are some screenshots for your reference https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1B24yg5Be4TXi-knxwgHkjje0HxR65B_U?usp=sharing
Please let me know how I can make it work.
Thanks
Reverting back to 11.4.1 using the theme panel resolved the mobile menu issue. You’ll likely need to update/activate the dependent tag div plugins as well.
Is there a way to alter the order of blocks on the homepage when people view the site in mobile devices? I am not using the mobile theme option, as it generates a critical error on users browsers when used. I have a headline post on the page (large image at the top), but when viewed in mobile browsers, that post is below other blocks. I need that headline block to be at the top of the mobile browsers. Right now it is third.
When I enable the mobile theme I get an error,”There has been a critical error on this website” when viewing on a mobile device.
We had the same issue a few weeks ago and after trying everything under the sun to troubleshoot it, we ended up just doing a complete site restore from a server backup. That brought it back to life, but now are reluctant to do any updates at all.
This might be the final straw for us with tagdiv. This theme has been nothing but one issue after another for us and has cost a ridiculous amount to deal with these problems. I’ve come to the conclusion that the TD Composer is just not a stable page builder.
Now our mobile menu stopped working.
I wish we didn’t use it, but it seemed like a good decision at the time. I’ll be redeveloping our Newspaper sites with Elementor Pro as soon as time allows.
Good luck.
Hi,
This problem is not a general one, it depends on more factors, for example we saw that users with strong cache plugin like litespeed, W3 Total.
If you want, you can contact us via email and will check the mobile menu.
Also, soon will be a new theme update and maybe then you’ll no longer have this problem, we hope to be the next week.
Thank you!

Hello!
Edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.
In the theme panel, if you access Theme colors -> General theme colors, then there is a setting called ” Theme accent color ” which changes the hyperlink text color and also various other elements which use that color: https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-colors-introduction/
Thank you!
