Hi Vlad,
If we use TagDiv’s Mobile plugin (https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/) would this allow us to chose a different block setup for mobile?
Alternatively, is there some css we can add to the mobile device “custom css” that would change the block for mobile devices?
I’m using Header Style 8 on Newspaper9 Theme with 6 items in my Top Menu and 3 items in my Main Menu.
When I’m on a laptop it shows both menus in full. When I scroll down, the Top Menu is hidden and the Main Menu (with 3 items) sticks to the top (as it should).
When I’m mobile BOTH menus disappear. Since there are only 3 items in my Main Menu, I’d like to keep these displaying in full on the homepage and sticking to the top as they do on desktop/laptop.
Is this possible to configure? Either in the theme settings or with some custom work? Would love some help- thanks in advance!
Hey Support,
Could you please address this issue with my mobile theme? I am seeing duplicates of my articles and posts from mobile devices.
Here are a few screenshot examples of what I am seeing for an excerpt of the same post:
Normal viewing from a mobile phone (Original Excerpt):

Abnormal viewing from a mobile phone (Duplicate Excerpt):

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
What I can recommend to you is to make a fresh install on a subdomain or localhost to check the AMP and if is work you can duplicate your live website and try on entertainment test to integrate the amp in the theme, we recommend the amp with mobile theme
Also please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme, also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.
If there is still a problem, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello !
Go into Theme Panel – Mobile Theme – Theme Colors – Mobile Menu. You can switch your colors and opacity from there !
Thank you !
Hello !
The designs do not match because you are using the mobile theme. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
Unfortunately you cannot have the design you want. If you disable the mobile theme you will have the same layout as on desktop.
Thank you !
Hi,
Please note that our mobile theme has been designed to be very fast and that’s why this cannot be customized very much. At the moment, the layout of the mobile theme is simple and for more details about this functionality, please check here -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-get-mobile-ready-with-newsmag-theme/ On the homepage, you will get the first grid with the featured posts and the second section will displays you the latest articles.
Thank you!
Hi Vlad,
Thanks for your reply. Yes, as mentioned in my initial ticket, I am getting the error with only the theme plugins activated, ie:
AMP
tagDiv Cloud Library
tagDiv Composer
tagDiv Mobile Theme
tagDiv Newsletter
tagDiv Social Counter
WP Bakery Page Builder
I am working on my localhost with the trellis / bedrock WordPress stack. I have no caching enabled.
Any insights?
Hello tagDiv team,
Thank you for your great theme! I’m trying to make a new page using TD composer and on the left side, there are only three viewports to chose: Desktop, Landscape and Portrait. The 4th, Mobile, is missing there – but I can see ands edit it on other pages of the same Multisite installation. Mobile Theme was installed and deleted, cache deleted as well. I guess I’ve just forgot a checkbox anywhere but I can’t find that checkbox… May you help me please?
Kind regards,
Herwig
Before moving to TD Composer W3TC was the best caching solution for us. Page loads were 3 secs..and now we moved to wp super cache and page loads are around in 10 seconds. Mobile versions are started to load on desktop versions etc. Later we found out that A2 Hostings’s optimization infrastructure does not support WP supercache. So we are at impasse
Our hosting does not support wp supercache and our theme does not support W3TC or others.
There are some people using wp recket and I wonder if it works out for newspaper theme. From time to time, I regret moving to TD composer but it is way better than wp bakery. Any suggestion will help. Thanks
Hi Catalin –
If the theme was fully responsive, each of those articles in the Grid would stack on top of each other in one column. If you look closely, the third and fourth featured images can only be seen on mobile if I scroll horizontally over the second featured image.
The third and fourth featured images should be stacking underneath the second if it was fully responsive.
Hello !
Please paste the code in the mobile theme too, as you can see here:https://www.screencast.com/t/BpT5ZTyyKfPA
Thank you !
Hi,
You can remove the “Loading..” in two ways, the first one is using a custom css
#src_load{
display: none;
}
that need to be set in Theme Panel>Mobile Theme> Custom code> Css -> http://prntscr.com/oit0du
Or you can comment/remove the code from theme core wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/header-amp.php -> http://prntscr.com/oit3oo
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
Doesn’t look disabled, the pages still use the mobile theme. If you disabled the mobile theme for the homepage and other pages, they should not display it anymore.
We could take a look at it if you want, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. In our tests the disable mobile theme option works fine, but maybe there are cases when it doesn’t however. Also include a link to this topic in the email.
Let us know.
Thanks
Glad I can help.
The mobile theme won’t work with composer content, only what is possible through the simple mobile editor. So displaying a block on phones when the mobile theme is active is not possible. You can check how the mobile theme looks by visiting this demo with a phone or with a browser emulator – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_local_news/
However we introduced in he latest update a setting which can now be used to disable the mobile theme per page or post. So for example the homepage on mobile can be made to not use the mobile theme and will display the content from desktop, while the rest of the website will. This was a much requested feature, now it is possible.
The setting is found in the page/post edit screen in Gutenberg – http://prntscr.com/oisnlc
Please let me know if you have more questions.

I checked your website and all seams to be good -> http://prntscr.com/oien1r -> http://prntscr.com/oieoh3, you are using the mobile theme.
If there is still a problem, please let know!

Hi,
I have checked your website and I saw that you are using the Mobile Theme plugin. Please, note that plugin has special functionality for the mobile articles and pages and that’s why you did not bring the blocks on mobile and some of your pages are empty on mobile. For more details about the mobile theme functionality, please check the documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ Also, if you do not like the mobile theme functionality, you will simply disable it from the P{lugins section and the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive mode.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme, also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.
Also make sure that you clear all cache after you make some changes.
If there is still a problem, please provide some more details and a link where I can check this problem of fonts.
Also the mobile fonts is applying only on some elements from the mobile section, please provide some more details about the settings you’ve made and the problem that you are facing.
Thank you!
Hi CRiTiCAL,

-> http://prntscr.com/oiaojv

display: none;
}
The code need to be set in the mobile theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/0IE0OfH6Z1Fd also please clear all cache after you set this code.
Hope this will help you!

Hi,
Please note that our theme is fully responsive and that’s why, on mobile, the layout of the grid is different than the desktop version, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/e6tu9p6qQn1v If you want to request your desktop version on the mobile devices, please note that our theme does not have any such an option for that but only if you will find such a plugin with this functionality and check how it works. You can take a look over the next useful guide from here -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8qokn4vLew
Thank you!
