Hi,
Thanks Christopher!
@frasercarly89
For this http://screencast.com/t/pOUAJQi6zZ you have to follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-manage-the-mobile-theme/ and deactivate the Mobile Theme.
I have checked your site and found that you it is very slow. You should consider optimizing your images as they slow down page speed as noted at this test I made using Google’s PageSpeed Insights: http://screencast.com/t/pZF2PK63D also on your site: http://screencast.com/t/eXVkKjDS
Check this guide, part 3 Optimizing Images: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ or search the forum to finding the best ways to do this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/pagespeed/
Thanks
You don’t need to use WP Touch with the theme since it is responsive by design, meaning mobile users already see a mobile-friendly version. You should check with the WP Touch plugin developer for compatibility.
There is no real reason to add both the Jetpack mobile feature, a mobile plugin, when the theme already serves a mobile version. That plugin is primarily for “old” sites which don’t have responsible mobile ready designs.
Hi,
You need to create and set a menu as header menu: http://screencast.com/t/h7NTPYxpx
The mobile menu is build after the main header menu so this will also work after you set-up an menu.
You can read here about how to create a menu: https://forum.tagdiv.com/menu/
You should also consider going over the whole documentation to find the best ways on how you should use the theme.
Thanks
pls refer to the attached snap.
The mobile theme is deactivated.
you can see the visual composer plugin settings so that shouldn’t be an issue either.
i don’t work on JS so don’t know if that’s an issue, still.
deactivated all plugins, other than VC and did all that you listed.
no improvement.
i used this theme and the mega menu successfully on another site, so i’m sure nothing wrong in how i create the menu.
Could you pls look into the matter again and help me out.
Hi,
@tms
Please deactivate the mobile theme to fix the shortcodes issue: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-manage-the-mobile-theme/
Also please make sure you have installed the Visual Composer plugin right following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
The mobile menu and the mega menu work based on js and I have found all this errors which could generate this, in your console: http://screencast.com/t/jgtCSvbd
Please make sure you deactivate all plugins including cloudflare and cache you use, leaving just the Visual Composer active and empty all cache then purge files and check this again, also look for errors in the console.
Both mega menu and mobile menu work fine, I have tested this using the latest theme version and found no issues with it.
Also make sure that you set and use the mega menu right: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-the-megamenu/
Please let me know if this helps!
@aces231 Please send your site’s URL so I can inspect this.
Thanks
Hi,
Have you managed to fix this?.. as I have just checked your site and found that the menu button looks fine now on mobile screens: http://screencast.com/t/unMrXfQiSHf
You need to use the jetpack plugin for that gallery, here you can read more about how to achieve this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-a-gallery/
Please let me know if your have any other theme related issues.
Thanks
Ever since the update the menu on mobile has a weird “play button” looking Icon and doesn’t work very fluidly. How do I fix that? I read somewhere where I may have a cache plugin, but I am not even sure how to resolve that issue. My site is http://www.modelthrowdown.com
Another quick question I had is how did you get the gallery to look like you did in this preview. Was that using another plugin? http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/seat-and-enjoy-about-this-amazing-theme/
This is a responsive theme; there is no “non responsive” option as far as I know. It’s designed so that it will better viewed by Google which now “dings” non-responsive/mon-mobile friendly sites, and for compatibility on iphones, tablets, as well as desktop.
You can create a “boxed” layout, simply by putting in a background color or image for the theme. You might try that first and see if it suits your needs?
Hi,
Please use this custom css and add it in theme panel > custom css field: http://screencast.com/t/3mJaEhiTWsra
@media (max-width: 767px){
#td-top-search {
top: 2px;
}
#td-top-mobile-toggle {
display: block;
}
}
Thanks
Hi,
At a closer look I can notice that two lightbox instances are opening when clicking an image.
You can use only the simple lightbox plugin or the light box feature of the theme. Regarding the theme lightbox note that you also need to set the modal view “On” for and image in order to get the lightbox on it and you can do that by editing the image and setting it like this: http://screencast.com/t/0vZXd0rqq
You can read more about displaying image using modal window here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/display-image-using-modal-window/
If you want to disable the modal view on your site and only use the plugin you can do it like this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/dont-want-light-box-for-images/#post-17108
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks for letting us know, we also know about this issue and we plan to fix it in next theme updates as we have this on our to-do list and we are working on it.
Thanks for the message!
Firefox generally has many issues. We’re running into various issues with FF on different themes, sites, etc. — everything perfect in every platform, OS, mobile device … *except* Firefox. So, I often suspect that browser as being less than perfect these days. However, I’m sure Lucian or one of the other support techs will be able to give you better answer when they get back in (closed weekends). Likely a simple CSS addition to the custom CSS panel might work.
Hi, firstly we are enjoying the theme, good work and as always good support. Our current issue is the way it displays on mobile devices. For example on Galaxy S5 and similar devices it looks strange and quite jumpy.
For example, if you click on an image in Android it takes you to a new page and not the media file.
The images don’t appear flushed with content instead they sit on top of each other.
Example URL’s:

Thanks
Vince
Hi,
This is happening because the logo it’s missing or not found: http://screencast.com/t/hvHeakNxhAO
Please make sure you have added the logo right in theme panel.
Thanks

Hi there,
I have two issues with my site currently.
If you look at my test site here.
http://www.vitalstrengthblog.com.au/webdev/how-to-get-abs-top-6-ab-exercise-mistakes/
1) I have inserted small number images for each point. They look fine on desktop, but when viewed on mobile, they expand and fill the screen. I tried modal on and off, but I can’t seem to fix this. My site has so many if these images and I need a easy solution to lock these images to size. Is there a solution ?
2) I want use the default header style (logo + ad) + menu, as I want the mobile version of the logo to appear on mobile devices. But I need to push down the header space, so you can see my background ad. If I use a transparent image it doest work, if I use an image bigger than 100 px in height it pushes the page content area down or it doesn’t appear at all and the header alignment fix is not doing anything (in theme panel). If I use header style 3, with a transparent image of 240px (perfect height i need) it works, but i get massive clickable area on mobile devices that goes back to home page URL (not good) and i lose the mobile logo on the banner.
I have tried your custom css for inserting a background image in the boxed layout, in theme panel, but that doesn’t do anything with linking my 240px height x 2px wide transparent png. Please note I don’t want a logo on desktop, I need transparent space, bigger than 100px high using style 1.
Thanks for your help.
We have the Events Calendar Pro plugin and have gotten some css to help us with some theme compatibility issues, but we are still having problems with mobile view in portrait (landscape is fine). The calendar becomes smashed up and difficult to read in this view. Not sure if you can offer any insight on why this is happening, but any help would be appreciated.
Hi,
Just trying to understand why the Article title wraps to next line rather than stay on one line for the big slider heading. Is this as a consequence of mobile as the headings are a little large on mobile (samsung s3). Is there a way to change this without css customisation. I’m not keen on making to many customisations to the theme.
Here’s my new blog if you want to check it…

Hi,
Have you managed to fix this? I have checked your site and noticed that the logo dose appear on mobile and tables also:
* http://screencast.com/t/j8P6yXT5gLQ (mobile)
* http://screencast.com/t/M62oF6QpsFo (tablet portrait)
* http://screencast.com/t/BjyGUkXGJ (tablet landscape)
Please let me know if you have any other theme related issue!
Thanks
Hi,
Do you still have any issues with this? I have checked your site and found no problems with it, it displayed and functions well from what I have seen: http://screencast.com/t/mFihB78o
Please let me know if you have any other theme related issues.
Thanks
Thank you!
Finally i did it:)
It was all because of child theme, i added this code to the main theme and it started to work
Hi,
Please make sure you update the theme right: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/
Also please make sure you do not have any js errors in the console also empty all cache/purge files and try again. This should work fine.
Also check this without any plugins active.
If nothing works please send an e-mail at contact@tagdiv.com and give us wp-access so we can check this.
Regarding the mobile menu the improvements made to it are related to it’s functionality and not its look, note that it has been completely rewritten.
Thanks

Well the browsers it don’t support is old ones…if you want to support all browers then you need a to upgrade your Free account to a PRO / BUSINESS / ENTERPRISE..
the Free plan only support
Desktop Browsers
Internet Explorer 7 and later
Firefox 2
Opera 8 with TLS 1.1 enabled
Google Chrome:
Supported on Vista and later by default
OS X 10.5.7 in Chrome Version 5.0.342.0 and later
Safari 2.1 and later (requires OS X 10.5.6 and later or Windows Vista and later)
Mobile Browsers
Mobile Safari for iOS 4.0
Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) and later
Windows Phone 7
This a free service and so far they support a lot of browers just not the old ones like Windows XP SP2 and Android <3.0,
And it’s good it don’t support old browsers because that’s what hackers and scammers etc use any way to get in ur site..
Hi,
Yes, you recall well, unfortunately the “Menu Swipe” on mobile feature it’s no longer available, we have removed it since theme version 3.6.
Thanks for the message1
Hi,
Usually when using child theme the css added in the child theme css style sheet should work fine but note that using the child theme could cause other issues so in case you have some problem you should check if the child theme isn’t the cause of it.
You can use the speed booster plugin to move files to the bottom, this is speed related so you can follow this guides for this:
* https://forum.tagdiv.com/pagespeed-guide/
* https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/can-i-add-plugins-css-to-footer/#post-6348
* https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/pagespeed/
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Ok, thank you!
I’m using child theme now, so the update won’t be a problem for my style.css i hope
What about stuff like this in the beginning of my source:
link rel=’stylesheet’ id=’google-font
thare are some google fonts, can i move it to the bottom somehow?
