Hi,
I have checked your website and I saw that you are using the Mobile Theme plugin which has a different layout than the desktop version. Please check the documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ Did you have read this document before installing that plugin?
Thanks.
Thanks, it works now!
My suggestion is that this is optional in the theme settings in the mobile to the next updates.
You would have to first remove the condition that was set to show the grid only if the featured category exists – http://prntscr.com/mic696 -> http://prntscr.com/mic6gv
Then the grid should show all posts.
Sorry for this inconvenience, but now the grid is working as it was intended originally. As I mentioned the mobile theme will be modified in coming updates. I can’t say at the moment what will change however.
Can you take a look at the mobile-menu in the same header linked above? How to align the elements horizontal in the same row…?
Hi,
Please keep in mind that I have tested your website on mobile iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and works as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/CUjiTjn5C8I
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
The mobile editor is where content has to be entered for each page, when the mobile plugin is active. So each page will require two versions. For desktop you can use the page builder, but when viewed on mobile and the mobile plugin is active, the page will be empty.
Page builder content is not displayed by the mobile plugin, so pasting the same content from desktop will not work or create problems. If you want to display the same content deactivate the mobile plugin.
There would be no point in using the mobile plugin if what it displays is the same as without it.
Mobile pages have to be simple, created within the mobile editor and it’s simple capabilities. The mobile theme will greatly increase mobile performance because of this. The settings of the plugin are kept to a minimum as well, many elements are predefined.
Decide if based on this information you need the mobile theme or not. The plugin is optional, there will be no problem if you not use it.
Thanks
Hi,
The mobile theme is set to be apply only on device that have the screen between 0 – 767px, when is apply on other device usually are some wrong CDN settings made or cache problem.
Please make sure that you set the Cloudflare (CDN) like in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/ and you clear all cache.
If there is still some problems, please provide a link to your website were we can inspect this problem.
Thank you for your understanding!
Salut tagDiv, am fÄcut de curĂąnd update de la 9.2.1 la 9.5 Èi pe mobile Èi a dispÄrut acel Grid cu 3 poze. La changelog-ul despre update-ul 9.5 spune cÄ “fix: Display mobile grid (on Mobile Theme) only if âFeaturedâ category exists.” Am acea categorie existentÄ Èi totuÈi nu apare grid-ul. Ce pot face? MulÈumesc.
Hi,
Now in version 9.5 this is possible, you can select the menu for mobile theme direct from tagDiv Composer
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ZdZBYSjMP
-> https://tagdiv.com/whats-new-in-newspaper-theme-9-5-update/
Hope this will help you to achieve what you need!
Thank you!
Hi devy,
The problem with the accessible or discernible names is still in work, that is way we did not set the fix for mobile accessibility in this update, there are more elements that was change and need to be tested, so in the coming updates, will be implemented this fix too, sorry for the inconvenience!
Please note that all the features that the team developers implemented in this update has been requested by our customers.
Also our team developers are working to the theme optimization/speed that is way those plugins appear, the customers will use it only if they need the feature from that plugin, if note will no install/activate the plugin.
Thank you for your understanding!
Short version if you look on this page on the left on a non-mobile browser there is the social media plugin thing. We only have the one with youtube on individual articles. Previously it was using the old Youtube link before we were able to customise it with having enough subscribers. I noticed it was saying we had zero subscribers so I went to the theme panel to change it to “https://www.youtube.com/geeksocietyau”. I hit save and reload the above page and the link it is trying to use now is “https://www.youtube.com/geeksocietyau/www.youtube.com/geeksocietyau” which obviously doesn’t work.
I doubled back to the social settings and tried to just set geeksocietyau or /geeksocietyau but that produces an error and I think prevents from saving. Not quite sure what to do here or if there are potentially other parts of the site impacted.
Hi,
Just installed the latest version of the Newspaper theme for my site located at: https://www.dirtsheet.com/
For some reason the mobile/responsive menu fails to load. You can tell there is some type of javascript conflict as it will load if you give it several seconds (maybe half a minute or more). I have already tried disabling all plugins and I am not using any type of caching plugins at the moment.
Please help! Thanks!
Hi. please, if you can help me with the mobile design of the template because it does not look like the design of the web.
I can not see the right sidebar, nor the post slide, the background in one part looks white when the bottom of the web is black.
PLEASE HELP!
THE WEB IS CHIPTECNO.COM
I have the mobile theme plugin activated. When viewing a post that uses the Smart List feature, instead of mirroring the Smart List template that I selected, it shows a gallery where the user has to click “next” before they see the next item in the smart list.
They can’t just scroll down through the list.
The problem is that since there’s text before the smart list begins, the page is refreshed every time the “next” button is pressed and the page resets back to the top – the gallery is now out of view and the user must scroll back down again to see the next item in the smart list.
Note: I’m using a smart list template that lists each item one after another, I do not have a gallery option set but the mobile theme is using a gallery template for the smart list anyway.
It would be much easier for the user to just scroll down through the list, rather than clicking next every time.
I noticed there is a mobile section on each page, so I could format the list differently, except the smart list is on posts where there isn’t an extra section to format the post just for mobile devices.
I have the same problem with this update! The mobile menu redirects to the homepage, only when I try to open it on the homepage.
This is pretty urgent.
Alastair
the images on the cell phone loses much quality, is this normal?
Hi Team,
Also, If I disable Mobile Theme plugin then it’s visible fine.

Ashok

I want to make my mobile menu like this
(MENU)-LOGO-(SEARCH)
but it makes it like this
(MENU)
(LOGO)
(SEARCH)
I know i can move it in css but its messy
Edit: its only like that on mobile
Hi,
That would be unusual, the sidebar is displayed below the main content on posts, when the mobile theme is not active. Provide a link to a post where this happens so I can take a look.
Thanks
That is how it works currently, the top grid is set to display posts from the featured category. If there are no posts in this category or it has been deleted, the grid will not be displayed. The category is created by the theme initially
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
Only by modifications in the code you could change this functionality. This is a similar topic where a category is added in the code of the top grid, so the grid will display only posts from it, if this is what you want to do
â https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-featured-posts/
I should note that the mobile theme will be subject to modifications in coming updates.
Hi,
Please remove the code that I give it to you and I will try to make a new one, a better one, this have some fix elements and that is way is not auto resize the height on mobile device.
Thank you!
I am using the mobile plugin as it improves the speed of the site.
However, it also the mobile theme also applies for Ipads.
Is there a way for the theme to only work for mobile phones and for Ipads to use the normal responsive theme?
Hi,
The logo image could be transparent, so it would depend on the background color below it. On mobile you could set a white color for the menu bar and a black color for the icons in the theme panel – http://prntscr.com/mhwaqy
The result would be like this – http://prntscr.com/mhw9s7
Thanks
