That is possible with the mobile plugin.
Hi guys, i have created 3 menus, one fore Main menu navigation, one for the footer, and i would like to have a 3rd one for mobile only. The reason is that i want a simpler version of the menu in our mobile versions as the main navigation has lots of submenus.
How can i assign a menu for mobile?
Article text no showing in mobile version and responsive version of the site. I’ve uninstalled all plugins to no avail.
@leytol amp pages are meant for mobiles only, not for desktop browsers.
Hey thank you for clarifying things for me. I will try to use your tutorial and I will read the post you linked to.
I didn’t know that mobile pages and amp are to be used together.
Thanks
Hi,
1. Please check the theme changelog, the theme now supports PHP 7.2
– https://www.screencast.com/t/cKqxeL9Y
2. You can have both the mobile theme plugin and AMP plugin activated, there will be no problem.
Those kind of ads are not tested with the theme. Standard Adsense ads will work properly. In the future support for such ads may be implemented. If you want to use ads like that you could try a plugin to insert the ads, like the one you mention.
We try our best to provide new options and featured with each update. A time will come to make improvements to the ad capabilities of the theme as well.
Thanks
hi after the updated had to reinstall td composer as we had the blank page and a few other problems. After reinstall most of the problems were fixed.
The site load take longer tried in several browsers and on mobile its the same please help http://www.zimlink.org.
Love the theme this update seems a bit ruff though. had no problems with 8.6
Hello matijakurusic,
Please keep in mind that both options are important and here is talking about two different functionalities! Notice that is no question of choosing between them because you can use them simultaneously. The note is that the user, at the first time will see the AMP page, in Google Search (like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/YM1PffHt) and then, he will be redirected to your website which will work in the mobile theme. The AMP will have to be viewed as a preview to the posts pages of your website which are delivered by the Google AMP Cache. This is a proxy-based content delivery network for delivering all valid AMP documents. It fetches AMP HTML pages, caches them, and improves page performance automatically. For more information about this case and to better understand the operating system for this plug-in, please check the following useful manual from here -> https://www.searchenginejournal.com/difference-accelerated-mobile-pages-amp-mobile-friendly-pages/172967/
Thanks for your understanding!
It’s looks like we are all don’t understand AMP rules… including me. But, now I understand and very satisfied for TagDiv AMP plugin.
more than 70% of my blog visitor comes from mobile, this Newspaper 8.7 save my life 🙂 Cheers~
Thanks
I can’t see in the desktop browser ONLY responsive Google ads… If you choose the option “fixed height -100px” the ads show in desktop and mobile browser. Why?
Hi,
Indeed, it seems the mobile menu is not working at all, neither is the mobile search. There are some errors in the page – https://www.screencast.com/t/GGXuax2iB
The first step would be to deactivate all plugins as a quick test, leave only theme plugins active. Next go to your cache settings and clear the cache. Then check if then issue is solved. This would help determine if a plugin is conflicting with the theme.
Thanks
@irfan.id
You have to change the logo size in mobile. Do tests until you find one that fits well.
It happened to me too and it was solved changing the size of the logo.
Regards.
Same problems here. No menu…
And why can’t I see the Google ads in the desktop browser version, but I can see them in the mobile browser? https://www.leyendasdetoledo.com/siete-rutas-o-visitas-guiadas-que-no-te-debes-perder-en-toledo/amp/
Thanks.

Hi,
The background of the modal window can be changed in the theme panel. If the mobile theme plugin is not enabled these are the settings
– https://www.screencast.com/t/gItsB41rW5O
– https://www.screencast.com/t/GfnB59WTLuU
If the mobile plugin is active, there is a special section for it
– https://www.screencast.com/t/KDktHZFA
More information about the mobile theme plugin here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Facebook or social login is not available in the theme. That could only be done by modifications to the theme files or through a plugin. Similar topic here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/where-i-can-add-a-line-of-custom-php-code-on-the-login-page/
This could be available by default in the theme, after a future update. I cannot say for sure however.
Thanks
Hello themeforest58,
Unfortunately, please notice that’s the default functionality for AMP, without the menu, sorry! The AMP plugin works only for default pages which are not created with any page builder. Regarding on social sharing, these have the default size for mobile devices.
Thanks for your understanding!
2. The newsletter does not have a pop-up option, at this moment. Maybe it will be available in the future. It can only be placed on pages with the tagDiv composer.
1. From what I see there is a logo displayed both in header and footer AMP pages
– https://www.screencast.com/t/xd3ab9MiqRp
– https://www.screencast.com/t/38hj590ovo
The header logo is the one set for mobile in the theme panel, the footer logo will remain the same.
Steps 1 and 2 worked for me.
Re-installing the td-composer.zip plugin DID NOT WORK.
Have left out td-composer.zip, td-mobile-plugin.zip and td-social-counter.zip until I know that this bug is fixed completely.
Hello,
I have inspected again your website and on mobile devices and the main menu is right displayed as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/hcJsLasQg Try to clear all of your caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi, I know that google likes AMP, but the whole point of the tagdiv mobile theme seems the same for me, and easier.
The only downside to the mobile theme is the layout, I can’t change it.
What is better to use in your opinion?
What is the plan with td mobile theme? Future plan?
An Important question is about the “/amp/” part. What happens if my website’s post is linked on another website like this:
http://www.mysite.com/mypost
…and then I add AMP…, which changes the original link to http://www.mysite.com/mypost/amp/
What is going to happen when someone clicks on the link from another website using his phone?
Thank you
Hi guys,
When I click on the ‘menu’ button on mobile the menu doesn’t show up. It moves the page back, like something needs to show up, but nothing does.
Can’t find anything to fix it…
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Mobile Theme & AMP plugins
1. Is tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin compatible with “PHP 7.2”?
2. Is tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin compatible with “tagDiv AMP plugin”?
Theme Ads System Not Working Properly
1. Theme’s Article inline ad “auto [size]” does not work with Adsense’s “auto in-articles ad code”. I put Adsense “auto in-article ad code” in theme’s “Article inline ad code area” and set size as “auto”. But, theme resizes the ad, resulting in very small and ugly design, the front end result is very different when I put the same ad code in WP-Insert plugin. I wish the upcoming update fixes this.
2. Theme’s Article bottom ad “auto [size]” does not work with Adsense’s “matched contents ad code”. I placed the ad code and set size as “auto”, but it never shows up. I tried all sizes supported by theme, none of them works with matched contents ad code. I wish the upcoming update handles this. I even wish I could put two adsense codes (auto in-article ad and matched contents ad) together in Theme’s Article bottom ad, which is supported by plugins.
Because of these, I do not use Theme’s Article Ads, I leave it unused. Instead, I use Wp-Insert plugin. I wish I can use less plugins by using Theme’s Article ads one day.
By the way, I love tagDiv’s Newspapers theme. It has so many features that other themes don’t. Its not that I complain about this theme, this fantastic theme makes me greedier and I dont want to leave any of the features unused.
Just for the feedback, AMP Plugin is great and seems fastest, but there are some major bugs such as:
1. Menu from amp pages is missing.
2. Social sharing icons are too small.
3. No idea how amp ads work. Do we have to fill in our custom adsense made ads in the theme panel>amp>custom ad? Or the google adsense fills out these spots themselves?
4. How can we remove featured image from amp pages?
5. The search button is broke, it redirects to mobile page with some “-” search result.
6. Dropcaps are not working perfect, the letters are inside a colored box.
Apart from that, the post-editor is missing the text-editor, i mean where is the place where i used to add dropcaps and quoteboxes??
And to the ones who have been complaining about amp not on home page, well amp is meant for posts that appear on google, the rich articles we write. There is definitely no need of amp on homepage, unless you want a really stripped off version of your homepage to be shown to your visitors.(speed is always not best at some places)
I moved site to another server. Backup was made with Updraft plugin and restored with the same plugin. According to the plugin, no files were missing and restoration of all site files was 100% successful. When I try to load the page, it is broken as hell! Desktop version as well as mobile version. All media is blank, css is missing, nothing is working as it should be.

P.S. It would be great to implement PRIVATE option here when we’re requesting for help in order to hide images or files or whatever we don’t want other people to know about. I don’t want that all people from this forum know what’s my site and what I’m doing, for example.
Probably both since mobile responsive and AMP are two totally different things.
Or, just use desktop/responsive (classic mode… I suppose), then AMP for Google AMP support.
So>
– classic mode would be desktop templates; responsive for desktop, ipad, phone
– AMP plugin for AMP compatible devices/browsers if accepted into AMP index
Or>
– desktop templates for desktop
– mobile plugin for devices that don’t support AMP
– AMP plugin for AMP compatible devices/browsers
I think that’s how you’d wrangle that.
Hi everybody!
Quite confused.
Do I need to install these two plugins at the same time?
Or just tagDiv AMP plugin is enough?
