Dear support,
The mobile menu doesn’t work on my website howtolearnhungarian.com
If I try to access my site from a mobile phone, and tap on the menu, it displays the menu,
however, if I tap on a menu item, nothing happens.
Could you please help me with this issue.
Best regards.
Hi,
I love the Newspaper Login/Register pop-up.
The point is that it is only available in the upper menu (not the main menu), and this menu is only available in Desktop (not it Tablets neither Mobiles).
So, I would like to know if there is a link so that I can call to this pop-up.
Thanks!
All the best,
Angel
I have a problem with seeing the images in several pages of my website using mobile but working on a computer.
This is the section http://www.gerardx.com/el-rincon-de-pensar/
There are 8 sections inside this one, and if you choose any of this sections you can see the pictures uploaded in your browser computer but you won’t see them if you are using mobile.
Any idea?
Thanks
I want to remove the Register button from the mobile menu but can’t find where to do it.
Thanks
Thanks. I found it! But I tried to change the image to a new one and nothing changes, and then I tried to remove and leave it without image and still the same when refreshing the mobile web.
I also tried using private navigation to ensure that is not problem of cache or cookies.
Thanks
I mean to disable it on 1 module not mobile
Hi,
I don’t seem to be able to connect to your website. I have tried the IP address you provided but with no success, if it is a local install I cannot view your website. I do not know how I could help you in this situation. Maybe I can inspect it when the website will be live, so I could access it. You could deactivate the mobile plugin if this is happening when it is active. Or install it and see if the issue is happening when it is active.
Thanks
Hello
If you do not use the Mobile Theme, you should change the image of your menu from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/IiQLFzCWmG
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello, i have education website with Newspaper theme. Its really op theme but when i check site from mobile, i see old news on grids (Big Grid 6) on homepage.

Hello utzgurx,
There is an option for it in Theme panel. So, if you want to change the mobile menu background yo should do it from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/A3pm1fZY
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello eministud,
Please provide your website so I can take a closer look at it and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response. Our mobile theme should work as expected and it is tested with the entire theme. I suggest you making a new clean install from scratch, via FTP way and then, install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and rule out any conflicting plugins. For more information about this feature, please consult our documentation, like here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
This issue is caused due to many complex elements on your site. That causes a very high load in the serve. In this case you will simply need better hosting so all the complex elements can be supported by it. Visual composer is known to be slow and demanding and that is why people tend to find different page builder solutions. Our own page builder does not present a risk as you say as it’s developed by us not a third party. We are working hard on the page builder and it will become a very powerful tool.
Now for a solution to your ajax problem. The first one would be jot to use too many different blocks on your homepage. Using more different blocks will cause a higher load. You seem to use lots of different blocks on your homepage. Make the homepage simpler with no more than 4 blocks if your hosting cannot handle a larger number on high traffic spikes.
To reduce ajax calls, simply remove some of the pagination and ajax filters on your blocks. For mobile users, one solution could be the mobile theme plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
And last but not least, check your plugins as they slow down the site radically. You also have lots of js errors in your console most likely due to plugins or customization.
Thank you!
Hello,
Sorry but I do not understand. On mobile phones the featured image is always centered. Do you want to place it in the center on desktop as well? This can be done by selecting a different post style for your post: https://www.screencast.com/t/eLi7xwQTrzu Try one of the post styles that show a full featured image.
Thank you!
Hi Amit,
Following the tutorial, I could only insert Google Adsense Ads. Is there a way to add other adverts (without purchasing extension).Instead of using mobile version and amp, I would like to redirect mobile pages to AMP but this could result in loss of revenue.
Regards
Azhar Nadeem
And, if posible delete also in home of mobile version? I use the pluguin for mobile. (only delete in home, not in articles) thanks
Hi,
In mobile version when I click the button menu and see al categories there is a picture that I don’t know how to change it.
I added an screenshot to show you what I mean. The picture behind the text is what I want to edit and select my own. Is it possible?
Thank you very much.
Hello, we tried to access a post page from the Facebook Mobile in-app browser from two different Android devices, one has Lollipop 5.1.1 the other KitKat 4.4 and both of them hasn’t rendered properly the page. Lollipop mobile has FB version 122.0.0.17.71 and KitKat has FB version 105.0.0.23.137.
The thing is that on Chrome, Firefox, and Android browser from the same mobile phones the site renders fine no problem! Only Facebook’s Mobile in-app browser renders it incorrect. We use style 10 and have customized a bit the section with the image and the post title, and we use css media queries to check if someone has accessed the site from a mobile/tablet/desktop, which up until now everything worked without any issues…
Here’s the url were in the Mobile Facebook in-app browser the page looks funky:
And here’s a screenshot how the site looks like:

Any help?
Hi There,
Firstly, I’m not sure if it’s just me, but the search functionality of this forum seems to be broken, It makes it difficult for me to research this issue.
We continue to have intermittent load and performance issues, we seem to have narrowed it down to multiple /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
It appears one article page load will generate 21 requests to /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php.
We are seeing strange intermittent issues where I believe (according to our tech) we are being flooded with these requests, we get an abnormally high number of active nginx connections, the site eventually slows to a stop and crashes. Strangely it eventually (maybe after an hour) it corrects itself, it doesn’t seem to be associated with high load.
I’ve read a few similar threads of people experiencing ver similar issues
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/i-need-shim-working-again/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/high-processor-usage-by-admin-ajax-and-index-php/
I’ve read a few different bits of advise with no particular resolution.
1. Potentially it’s an issue with Visual Composer and changing to TD Composer might fix the issue, this seems risky, so I’m hesitant to do this work unless there is a high level of confidence that is will fix the issue.
2. Reduce the reliance of ajax and pagination on blocks, I’m happy to do this, but the vast majority of my users access the article page directly and through mobile devices. For example yesterday we had 550K impressions on mobile and 7K impressions on desktop.
What specifically should I be looking for to reduce AJAX calls and pagination? I can’t see any specifically on the article pages.
At this point I’m willing to forgo almost any functionality that is not crucial to our business to ensure stability.
The site is http://www.shwemom.com
Cheers,
Mick
Just installed newspaper in a site under a multisite config
Get this msg when U access from mobile
“”The mobile theme path couldn’t be set. Please check if you already have another mobile theme plugin active and disable it (ex. Jetpack Mobile Theme or similar). If you use a cache plugin clear it before checking the results.
I have disabled the Jetpack plugin from the site and flushed the cache
There are no others themes in the sub site
What am I missing ? Help appreciated !
Hello,
That is why the mobile theme was built, to provide more page speed. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Seems that you not even sure that this is what really causing the issue, but jumping to the easiest conclusion for you.
You claim to have a superb support, but in this case it doesnt sound like you want to help.
I have an issue with my theme, i disabled all the plugins, and the issue persist…i suggested it might be an RTL issue, and without checking you send me to get a refund?!
Its not necessary an RTL issue, as it has to do with the mobile menu showing on desktop and auto open on mobile, it could be JS issues, it could be other causes, I would expect you to at least take a look before sending me off.
I will really appreciate if you can consider supporting my issue, at least looking at it, and maybe, just maybe going extra “mile” to help me resolve it, after all I am a paying customer, for a #1 theme with great support.
Thank you in advance
Hello,
I found this, along with similar posts, while trying to achieve the same: The mobile menu instead of the full/mega menu on portrait tablet view.
I believe I’ve found a solution which I’d like to share, I have added the following code to my child theme:
@media (max-width: 1018px) {
#td-outer-wrap {
overflow: auto;
margin: auto;
width: 100%;
-webkit-transition: transform 0.7s ease;
-moz-transition: transform 0.7s ease;
-o-transition: transform 0.7s ease;
transition: transform 0.7s ease;
-webkit-transform-origin: 50% 200px 0;
-moz-transform-origin: 50% 200px 0;
-o-transform-origin: 50% 200px 0;
transform-origin: 50% 200px 0;
}
}
@media (max-width: 1018px) {
#td-top-mobile-toggle {
display: inline-block;
position: relative;
}
}
@media (max-width: 1018px) {
.admin-bar #td-mobile-nav {
padding-top: 46px;
}
}
@media (max-width: 1018px) {
#td-header-menu .menu-mega-topics-container{
display:none;
}
}
}
I’ve yet to test this very extensively, so if anyone uses this and identifies any issues, please share.
I hope it helps.
Thanks.
Hi,
That could be what is causing this problem. We have not tested the theme with RTL direction, modifications in this matter could cause these unexpected results. The theme style and other functions may not work properly under these conditions, including the mobile menu. We cannot provide any RTL solution sorry. If you find that you cannot use our theme properly because of the missing RTL functionality, we will be able to provide a refund as our theme is not RTL compatible.
Thanks
ok, What about the speed. Is there any speed difference between the mobile and standard responsive version
