We have an ad installed in the article top ad spot. We only want it to load on mobile. I turned the desktop off but the ad never loads. When I turn the desktop on to test, the ad loads on desktop, but still not on mobile. It is not adsense but still a very strong ad company.

Hello,

I think it had solved, but the logo problem continues.
Desktop looks good, but mobile is blurred. If I put bigger, and you pass in size.

The web: androidspain.es

Let’s see if you can help me.

Thanks @Bogdan B.

We fixed that issue with the solution provided by you.
However, on mobiles, the auto size seems to have issues:

or

Guess Google won’t pay for partially displayed ads, and our users are about 70% mobile users.
Thanks!

Hello,

Please read this guide on the mobile theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
The pages need to have content created in the mobile editor.
It is possible your contact form will not get rendered by the mobile theme. We have not tested the mailmunch plugin with our mobile theme. Please try to use contact form 7 as it is a tested plugin.

Thank you!

Hi Team,

I have a Newspaper 7 installed in a WordPress Multisite, everything seems to be fine except the mobile theme plugin. It says “The mobile theme path couldn’t be set…” when I tried to open it in mobile handheld. I have disabled all other plugins as I did not installed any plugins apart from what Newspaper theme recommended at first, such as Visual Composer, Social Counter, and Revolution Slider, but still it won’t work. If I disabled the mobile theme plugin, the site (the responsive version) loaded very fine. Please help.

And also I did not see any registration form, its only a Sign-in form. It says Sign-in/Register, but if I clicked it there was no Sign-up or register form. I have activated the sign-in/join modal in top menu setting. I only saw sign-in and forgot password link in the modal window.

Please advice. Thank you.

Hello stuartfordham,

To hide this section on the mobile version, please try a bit of CSS code and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

The code is ->

@media(max-width:767px){
.footer-text-wrap{
display:none;
}

Thanks.

Hi

What device you use and how updated is the operating system? It is possible to be some issues if you’re using an older version of Android. We always test the theme with the latest versions of each browser, except IE, also the tests are made with the latest versions of Android or iOS. As can be seen from this screen your site works fine with Opera browser on mobile devices. http://screencast.com/t/qOSHBDoq0li The test was made with V 37.0.2192 which is the current mobile version of Opera.

Thanks!

Hi,
I’m not sure exactly what you mean by the same position;. Please be more explicit what ad position are you talking about? header ad? content ad? footer ad?
Are you using the mobile theme plugin?
And provide a link to your site so we can see what you mean.
Thanks.

Hello,

Coming from this comment:

https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609/comments?page=475&filter=all#comment_14495640

I got a subfooter in my mobile version with 2 page links but they do not show the content (only the ads). Here the examples:

http://www.screencast.com/t/gXIP83Q0K
http://www.screencast.com/t/6WaIpOSuCGN
http://www.screencast.com/t/lujy21xiLz

These are the pages:

http://www.damnkicks.com/contact/
http://www.damnkicks.com/privacy-policy/

I also want to add that I can’t see the newsletter widget: http://www.screencast.com/t/RRPf7pyRBw On the homepage neither on the posts.

THANK YOU SO MUCH

Hello,

The mobile theme plugin will require you to create a mobile version of your pages. Please read this guide to better understand the functionality of the mobile theme. https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you!

Hello,
I;m not sure why this happens as this is not a known issue. If it happens on mobile then it could be the mobile theme plugin as it is known not to show the standard pages but rather the content you add in the mobile editor.
This is described here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If the problem you are facing is on desktop, then please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cnd files if you use it. It could be a plugin conflict.
Let us know if you still have issues with this.
Thanks.

Hello,

The content I have on my subfooter pages don’t appear on the mobile version. Is there any reason why this happens?

Thanks

Hi,
Catalin only removed the description, but if you want to remove the whole footer, you can use the code like so:
.td-mobile-footer-wrap{
display:none!important;
}
.
You can ignore the small triangle that says “use of important”
Thank you!

This is not exactly what I meant. On my mobile homepage I removed the 3 featured posts and I can see only newest posts now. I want to achieve the same ony category pages on mobile – no 3 featured posts / no random posts, only the newest posts like on my mobile homepage here: livinator.com

I am not using the featured category at all…

Hello,

I have two different advert tags but want them to appear in the same position on my website depending if the user is visiting on a computer or a mobile.

How can I add both sets of code to the same advert position so the correct code is displayed depending on whether the user is visiting on a computer or a mobile.

The ad code is not Adsense but third party and can be provided here for you to see.

Hi the mobile version is not displaying the content that is being displayed on the main, full website. Please take a look at http://www.politicalpartylv.com/host-committee/ on your desktop version and then on your mobile version…

What am I doing wrong?

Great theme by the way!

Hello,
The mobile version of the site cannot have a background. The background is shown on desktop and tablets landscape. Starting from tablets portrait, you will not be able to see the background at all as there is no enough space for it. The mobile background you added is probably for the menu but the background ad does not work on mobiles.
Thank you!

Hi

The theme is tested with this version of opera browser: http://screencast.com/t/knmPzgAc9http://www.opera.com/mobile

Thanks!

Hello jitin bahri,

As I have explained you above, your pages created with Visual Composer will not be displayed on mobile mode if you are using Mobile Theme plugin because this has not been designed to recognize the shortcode generated by Visual Composer. Please try to disable the mobile plugin and the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive mode and the mobile version will work as properly (in responsive mode).

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi there,

I have a fresh install of wordpress on the following development site: http://dbeauregard.yourdevsite.ca/. Fresh install of Newspaper and used the “install demos” to activate the Black Version.

When viewing the site at Desktop sizes, it is oversized, meaning you can see the width scroll bar at the bottom of the browser. This goes away when you reduce the browser size to “mobile screen” sizes. When I deactivate the Instagram section in the footer via the Newspaper options panel, the problem goes away.

I’ve tested this and it happens in Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

However your demo site does not show this problem.

Any idea what the issue could be and whether there is a fix?

Thanks in advance.
