Also another issue, when I activated the Mobile plugin, it applied to the Desktop version as well and now it shows the Mobile version on Desktop.
Hello, I have activated the AMP and Mobile plugin. However, I can’t see Google Ads showing up on the mobile version. I have two other plugins installed – GA Google Analytics and WP Code as I am using them for integration with Google Analytics and Google Ads Sense. I guess they do not work for the mobile version, and I need to insert the codes separately, but I do not know how to fix this issue so that Google Ads appear on the mobile version and Google Analytics be connected to my mobile version as well. Thank you for the time dealing with my questions.
P.S. This is my site:

Hi,
I answered here https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-not-showing-on-phone-2/#post-455827 please deactivate the mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!
Hi,
The mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
So, if you want to use the cloud templates, then you need to disable the mobile theme and AMP plugins, and then use the responsive version.
You can use cloud templates with AMP.
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately, for the moment there is no option to display ads inside the flex blocks , the only ad that can be set in the flex block is for the video popup -> https://i.imgur.com/5BmAQwe.png
About the ad box, indeed this has special options if you are using banners/images, but for AdSense code you need to use a specific code or using the settings from ads, for example -> https://wpadvancedads.com/disable-adsense-on-mobile-devices/
Thank you!
I set up the mobile homepage following the instructions. I installed and activated mobile theme + AMP. But the mobile page I see on desktop does not show on mobile. The phone shows a totally different page. How can this be fixed? Thanks. Please see CSRinGhana.com and also GreatHall.NET

Dear Sir,
We are experiencing a problem with the mobile page. Sometimes it shows large fonts with letters that could not be read. Usually, after refreshing of page, everything is ok.
Please find a link with an example screenshot.
We don’t use any caching on WordPress. We are using Cloudflare protection and their caching.

We are using only mobile without AMP version!
Please advice us how to overcam this issue.

Hi,
is it possible to insert an ad in a flex block?
I am using flex block 4 on my front page and posts loop for kategories. In posts loop I can insert ads after every x posts. I need to insert ads into my flex block 4. How can I do that?
Unfortunately the handling of ads is different in the different widgets and sometime even within one widget.
In ad box I can define where an ad is shown (all devices, tablet, mobile…), but only if I add it as image ad. How can I remove a custom ad on a mobile?
In posts loop there is no such thing as an image ad. How can I remove it there?
And to get back to my first question: If I can show an ad in a flex block, how can I do that only on a desktop?
Kindest regards,
Brigitta

Hi,
Did someone successfully implemented GA4 analytics with AMP pages by using following code:
https://tech.behindmatters.com/google-analytics-4-support-for-amp-pages/
I placed this code into mobile theme as suggested but (for now) it does not seem to work.
Hello,
Please use this custom code css
.td-category a {
background-color: transparent;
}
Set the code in Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS.
Thank you!
Hi TagDiv team,
We have a website which uses different templates for desktop, and mobile devices. After migrating from a Litespeed Web Server where we used the LSCWP caching plugin – the caching worked flawlessly there but there were other resources issues – to a new server with Nginx, WP Rocket, and Redis object cache (deactivated and removed the LSCWP plugin too), we started off with the site working surprisingly fantastically. Then after a few hours had passed we discovered that the desktop version was squeezed in to the mobile viewports. We tried all different configuration options in WP Rocket, to no avail.
A couple of years ago, before hosting the site to the former server with Litespeed, we had had it in a different host with Apache, and we had experienced the same behavior there also. The only thing that had worked then, was the W3 Total Cache plugin, which we tried to install in this case as well. However, it appeared like shortly after flushing all caches in that, there would be a conflict between that, and WP Rocket’s files inside of /wp-content/cache directory, where apparently both plugins saved (most or all of) their configuration settings individually.
Kindly note that no two caching plugins were enabled at one time while testing everything. There were no conflicts like that. All conflicts appeared to have some relation to WP Rocket’s configuration files. We made sure to also delete advanced-cache.php from /wp-content/.
What puzzled us most, was that even with WP Rocket deactivated (and all other plugins also, including Cloudflare being in Developer Mode), appending the URL parameter ?nowprocket to the URL had a positive effect, allowing the site to load properly, and work flawlessly in both formats (desktop & mobile). It was time to completely remove WP Rocket from our site.
Even after completely removing WP Rocket from the site it would still not function properly. It was clear it was a WP Rocket left-over thing, because even with it being deactivated, and then deleted, we tested further, and we were still experiencing this issue; applying the ?nowprocket url parameter would allow the site to work correctly still. We made sure to delete all left-overs from the file system; at least all we could discover.
Then we noticed in the Newspaper pages that WP Super Cache was the recommended plugin for the Newspaper theme. We installed that and deactivated everything else, but still, after a couple of minutes, we experienced the same behavior once more.
Digging in the WPSC plugin we discovered that there was an option to explicitly set the caching files directory. We set that to /wp-content/super-cache instead of the default /wp-content/cache one, since at first it did not want to work correctly and ?nowprocket was still doing its thing. Additionally we disabled the Developer Mode in Cloudflare again (effectively enabling CF), and purged all caches there. After a half an hour we have not experienced the unwanted behavior yet.
Kindly note that all tests were performed in a new incognito session every time, to rule out the plausibility of a browser cache conflict also.
Anyway, we would like to kindly request you assist us with the correct configuration settings for WP Super Cache for the Newspaper theme. Please share any warning flags we should keep an eye out for, and point us towards possible other culprits we might have overlooked, which would disallow for the unwanted behavior experience we have described.
Thank you.
Hello,
Unfortunately, for mobile theme no.
I don’t know a plugin, but if the modal pop-up is on the homepage, you can disable the mobile theme https://www.screencast.com/t/axXRJsWby, and use it for posts/categories, etc.
Thank you!
Hi,
For the mobile version, I see that on the provided link it is an amp version, so the ads are set in those places -> https://i.imgur.com/nZhGHtV.png now, normally those should auto resized if the code do not have a fixed width, for example, 640px or 480px
Thank you!
Hi,
For the mobile version do you use a mobile page template? or you use the responsive version? or maybe for some pages you are using the mobile page template and for cloud templates you are using the responsive version?
You can edit both of theme using tagDiv Composer -> https://prnt.sc/uePdV1qglrHJ -> https://i.imgur.com/pGXRtjA.png and responsive version -> https://i.imgur.com/iZdU8bO.png
Thank you!
Hello @dpernar!
Please continue the discussion on one topic, not on multiple ones: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cumulative-layout-shift-and-mobile-theme/
Please note that page speed or optimization is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
Thank you!
Hi,
There are some settings that are not like in our guide because the mobile version is also displayed on desktop, please be sure that the WP Super cache it is set like in our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ also, please try a plugin to optimize the images, if you want you can try those mentioned in our guide -> https://i.imgur.com/k7fW5y1.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
I hope this will help you!
Thank you for your help.
I followed your instructions. I changed W3 total cache plugin to wp super cache plugin.
Also, I turned on the advanced features related to mobile theme(‘Mobile device support’, ‘Late init. Display cached files after WordPress has loaded’).
However the issue seems to persist.
The issue usually seems to happen in the posts that are most viewed currently.
Would there be any other thing that I could do to try to fix this issue?
Hi all,
When I turn on AMP on my site, for some reason my category font and background goes black on mobile site.
Do you know how could I resolve that?
Site is: CuriousMatrix.com
And here is the problem: https://imgur.com/a/Ncz7qYg
Thank you.
Hi all,
I am sorry to be annoying as I already asked this question. However it seems I can not fix Cumulative Layout Shift on my mobile version.
I am using Newspaper theme together with tagdiv Mobile theme on my website.
However when testing pagespeed and layout problems with Google Pagespeed I get several warnings.
Biggest warning (in google search console and pagespeed) comes from Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) stating: “CLS issue: more than 0.25 (mobile)”.
CLS is actually around 0.88 now.
Is there any way to fix that?
My site is: http://curiousmatrix.com/
Hey Bettina,
thank you for your answer. I have installed Apple Pay via Stripe.
The Apple Pay (Quick Checkout) Button is on mobile Version (iPhone) visible.
On the iPad Version its hidden behind the billing details.
In addition to that, the direction to “successful payment site” after Apple Pay Payment via Stripe window is missing.
Any ideas how this can be solved?
Hello,
the problem on desktop seems to have been solved. But the home page of the site from mobile is still not displayed in the correct way, with the mobile layout I created.
This is causing me a lot of problems and a loss of users from mobile. How can we solve it?
Thank you
Hello Calin,
thanks a lot for your advice, it works like a charm!
The badly displayed mobile ads are only visible on mobile when coming from the seznam.cz browser. It is ad behind the first thaw and an ad in front of the footer.
For both, the ad is cut off a bit. These ads are displayed only when you click through from seznam.cz. If you click on this link on your mobile phone and visit any article on svetohled.cz, you will see the badly displayed ads.
