Hello!

If you have the Mobile theme plugin installed and active, then you use the Mobile theme version. In order to display the responsive version, you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin.

Thank you!

Hello,

Please let me know if you use cloud templates for posts and categories. If yes, then you can see the mobile version. Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.

Thank you!

Thank you very much for the information and recommendations. I currently have both Mobile and Amp turned on. I was able to edit the site within TagDiv Composer’s phone viewport. When I’m editing in TagDiv’s phone viewport, while also having Mobile & Amp turned on, am I using the “responsive” theme or the “Mobile” theme?

How do I view my mobile pages? The only way I see is to open up a page with Tagdiv Composer, then click on the “phone viewport” option. But I cannot see how category pages or post pages look in the mobile viewer because those pages are not made with the TagDiv Composer. What is the best option to see all mobile pages?

Thank you.

We already create mobile page template for our website main page, but its not carry over the design that we create in the website mobile responsive.

Hello!

Please make sure you use the “Single Post Featured Image” element and not the “Single Post Bg Featured Image” element. Make sure you edit your mobile version and adjust the sizes.

Thank you!

Hello!

1. Please check the settings from the homepage and apply them for the other pages too.
2. You can copy paste the elements in the other page as well.
3. There is only 1 element displaying on 2 rows. So, you can limit the flex block at 4 posts and add other flex block with limit 4 and offset 4.(or copy paste it). For more information about the settings, please check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
4. You use the Mobile Theme plugin, so you can not modify that because there are only some settings in the Theme panel -> Mobile theme.
We have 3 options of mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there or adjust them to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates/design for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/

A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
You can choose to use which one is more affordable and useful for you.

5. Please check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/social-sharing/

6. Use a responsive version and all you need to do is to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin.

Thank you!

Hello

My images do not seem to be responsive on mobile devices.

EG viewing this on iphone 6 and above https://www.techbusinessnews.com.au/see-how-this-down-underbrstart-up-is-revolutionising-aibron-a-global-scale/

The images are cut off at the edges and look horrible. So whats the fix for this?

Hello,

Usually, the color is set on row https://i.imgur.com/5HlkTPK.jpg
The background image and color for the mobile menu are set in the Theme Panel -> Theme Colors -> Mobile Menu -> https://i.imgur.com/9eYp5W9.png -> https://i.imgur.com/Ednt2zW.png
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-introduction/

Thank you!

Hello,

The situation is that when you set the background video on row on mobile version and you are using a mobile device, the website will load very slow and in some situations, it will not load completely, therefore, our developers decided that this feature will affect negatively the mobile version and so was not implemented.

Thank you for your understanding!

I’ve some questions on the website issues and with mobile, the mobile version has been not up to my expectations lately, please kindly assist! I would appreciate if you can provide a step by step guide to make the amendments please.

my website is bitfinsider.com ,

1. https://ibb.co/ZL6GJRG – the subscribe to newsletter box, can it be aligned with the photo? This is happening on other pages except the home page.

2. https://ibb.co/vczgfxC – for this highlight box, can it appear on other pages of the section? For example, if I click on page 2 or page 3, the box disappears.

3. https://ibb.co/TP231tZ – for the insights, can I make the second row to be the same size as the first row?

4. https://ibb.co/W6ykmYZ , https://ibb.co/9sGyGxv – the mobile site highlights the latest 3 articles, but on page 2, it doesn’t show, how do I make it consistent?

5. https://ibb.co/gVjFxfq – how do I insert more social links here for sharing?

lastly, my mobile site has no footer, how do I make it the same as my desktop site? Thank you.

Hope you can help!

Hello,

I just activated full demo Dreamland Nest on my website https://quercusresidences.com

I have setup Youtube API as described in manual.

But, when I access home page from mobile phone, I don’t see video – I just see image with title “Luxury Resort Video”.

When I try to edit page via TAGDIV composer, and I got to mobile preview, I can see video loading, yet it is not showing on mobile phone.

How to make it show on mobile phone?

Everything works in the desktop version.
The problem is only in the mobile version.

Hello Michael!

1. Access the homepage, edit it with the TagDiv Composer and add the Search Form element in your header.

2. Please follow the video to see where you can find, build your sticky header on mobile and desktop too: https://www.screencast.com/t/l6v2Belt

Thank you!

Hello!

@PatWire
You are right.

@PIF21
It depends which version you prefer, so that one will be suitable for your needs.
You can improve a better score with any version, but you need to take into account some factors:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors.

Thank you!

Hello!

It’s not a different URL for the mobile version.

Thank you!

We already create the mobile page using mobile page composer by copy the content from homepage. Its seem the mobile template that we create didn’t appear when we try view homepage on mobile, means its still follow the style from desktop version. How to fix this?

This is our site : https://www.meremang.my/

We already did follow all the steps provide in here https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ but the issue still happens. Can you help with this?

This is just a helpful comment and not support 🙂

‘Responsive’ is the theme without the mobile plugin activated

I have a very busy news site – it depends if you’re building a new one or have an established site I think –

I wouldn’t bother with AMP at all – the theme with good hosting can be as fast as AMP –

AMP isn’t a ranking factor on search results, AMP doesn’t need to be implemented to be on Google News carousel either now – publishers are leaving AMP because it’s a pain to keep preparing for it – and you lose your URL because everything on AMP starts google.com/xxxxx

Check out SearchEngineJournal’s article – Should You Abandon AMP? 4 Considerations To Help You Decide

I don’t think anyone should bother worrying about AMP now, it’s pretty much dead – when I dropped it nothing changed at all on search rankings – if anything they got better

With my site the desktop is a design from a Cloud Template and edited how I want

I’m building a mobile page that’s less cluttered and easier to view than the desktop – so you don’t have to change it every time you change the desktop – unless you really want them to be identical, in which case you may as well stay responsive

Honestly the theme if you take time to read the docs and ask support can literally do anything you want – and with some tweaks ( there are forum posts about it down the years ) you can make it really fast. Check westbridgfordwire.com mobile speed – currently just the responsive version ( mobile page under construction )

Also in TagDiv Composer choose viewport at the top and some design changes can be applied there without the need for a separate ‘mobile page’

As I said just what I find best – I’m sure TagDiv support may be clearer for you 🙂

When clearing CDN cache we can specify a specific URL to clear only. When doing so it does not clear the mobile version of the page and only clears the desktop version. We are not using the plugin tagDiv Mobile Theme. The only way we have found to clear the CDN cache for mobile content is to clear the entire site cache. This is not the optimal solution. We would like to know if there is a different URL for the mobile version of a page/post.
